I had not lost her; she was still on my friend list the whole time. If I really had lost her she would have removed any connection to me from the start. I smiled and waved back at her as she headed back out into the shifting crowds. Besides, I would be seeing her again... on the frontlines. I was getting stronger, and I was so close to fighting alongside her. Soon enough, seeing her would be a regular thing as the floor clearing frontier began to progress upward. And maybe I could find some time later down the track to send her a message or two... the thought was nice, but reality made the dream less possible. "See you later."
