[SP-F2] Gaining Experience

Recommended Posts

The troll tried charging at him once again, but it's injured leg couldn't support it and the troll crashed to the ground. That gave Edwyn the chance that he needed and he ran forward swiftly and opened up the troll's throat with his sword, cutting very deep. The troll tried to roar one last time, but all that came out was a sort of whistling from its severed windpipe, then it burst into billions of tiny pixels before disappearing. Yes! No on to that treasure... Edwyn browsed through all of the loot that he had gotten from the troll hoard on his way back to the town. He had acquired a very nice bit of Col, along with a few rather unimpressive weapons and pieces of armor that he intended on selling as soon as he got back to town. But his favorite item was the pair of black combat boots that he had found. They were pure black, with iron set on the toe and heel of each boot. All in all, quite a nice haul.

As soon as Edwyn returned to the town, he sold all the excess treasure that he had acquired from the trolls, and also picked up his new sword from Daeron before selling his old one. He now had a substantial amount of Col and some decent equipment, not to mention his awesome sword. Now all he was waiting for was Keith to finish his new jacket and Daeron to finish the steel mesh shirt that he wanted, then he would have some good armor too. His life in SAO was progressing well, especially recently, he had acquired new equipment and advanced his skill by leaps and bounds. But the best part of recent events was, by far, his joining of the Mystic Swords guild. All of his guild members were great players and he knew that with some training and advancement, they would become a powerful guild. Hopefully one day soon, the Mystic Swords would strong enough to join the front lines and fight to clear the game alongside the rest of the Assault Team.

Edwyn woke up the morning after his success against the trolls thoroughly satisfied with himself, or as his favorite author Kevin Hearne would say, he had an acute case of Smug. And the Smug only got worse after he picked up his new jacket from Keith, it was great. The jacket was forest green and looked just like the Hidden Leaf village vests from Naruto, but it had sleeves to make it a jacket. It had the red symbol embossed on the back with pockets on the front, and it even had the hidden leaf symbol engraved in a small piece of metal on the upper right sleeve. Now he just had to wait for Daeron to finish his chain mesh shirt order and his armor set would be finished. Then, perhaps, he could see about joining the Assault Team, when he wasn't busy with guild business that is.
