[F4-NK-PP Rin and Myself] Names Are Hard Okay?

Recommended Posts

Alisa stood happily on the fourth floor, looking out accross the snowy ground into the barren, ice covered forest. Everything about this floor was perfect. From the temperature to the architecture to the landscape. It was beautiful, and reminded her of winters back home in France...she looked sad for a second.

Quickly shaking her head, Alisa realized she was here for a job. She was retaking the Earning a Living quest for the materials she desperately needed. However, doing the quest alone was rather dull..perhaps there was someone she could have come along with her, more materials for the both of them..

After thinking for a second she opens the menus and scrolls her list of friends, finding one named simply, "Rin." Pressing on the message button, she starts to type.

To Rin,

From Mossino.

Hey Rin! It's me, Alisa, want to do the uh..Earning a Living quest with me on the fourth floor? It'll be some easy materials for the both of us? Plus we can get to know each other a bit more.

Hoping to see you,

Alisa.

Afterwards she sends the message, and stays near the floor teleport of floor four, wondering if Rin will even show.

Rin's eyes were closed as she laid there in her shop upon the third floor, she groaned rather sadly weakly as she had some issues dealing with the recent incidents with her beloved friend, Esther. A soft sigh now escaping her lips till she heard a Ding~a~ling. The messenger system now lighting up green with the new message that just appeared upon the menu  causing her to jump a bit startled from her half dazed slumber now realizing that the majority of the day was already escaping her. As she poked the green mail button she now watched as the messaged popped up and smiled seeing another familiar player whom hadn't seemingly removed her from her friends list. She tapped her fingers down till the hud was off again allowing her to maneuver without any distractions.

She put on long black tights and a silken skin tight turtleneck before placing over her own gear over it a leather armor which was short but would help break through the wind. This is a material hunt, she thought now putting on the pink collar with a small medallion dangling down that granted her better searching ability. She was all done now and quickly skipped off toward the teleport pad speaking.

"Floor Four."

As she materialized on the new floor she wrapped her arms tightly about herself now shivering as she remembered that one day she would need to make winter fur coat.

Alisa only had to wait about a minute for the sound of teleportation to fill her ears. Looking over she saw the familiar girl she had met a few days ago. With a smile and wave Alisa walked up to Rin, looking slightly up into her eyes. Honestly, it slightly annoyed Alisa that everyone, literally, everyone so far was taller than her. And don't even get Alisa started on Adhae, the six foot giantess.

While Rin had dressed up for this, Alisa was still wearing her thin cloth clothes, shivering lightly. But hey, she enjoyed it.

"How're you doing today?" asked the blond in her chipper French accent. She was always rather elated, and very little things could bring her down. However, this just normally stems from her ability to not be able to control her emotions. But, since her standard is happy, it normally works out...normally.

"Since we are both down in materials, I thought we could retake this quest and get some extra materials?" she tilted her head, asking the girl.

Rin began to look about the winter wonderland when she saw the woman who messaged her now strolling up to her she was rather adorably short to be perfectly honest which made it hard to hide a smile behind her blush. A small giggle escaping her pursed lip as she then shook her head and waved.

"Hello again, it's Alisa right I remember when you and I met with Itzal. That was a rather interesting day I guess. I promise that I have been getting a proper amount of sleep since then."

She now watched her small shivering figure as she began to stroll up closer as she began to remember she had recently crafted a cloak to help keep out the battering elements of the weather. Her digits poking through the hud as if she was insane and trying to poke sparkling lights that didn't exist till the large fur cloak appeared now in her hands.

"If you want you can wear this it is purely vanity so don't expect any buffs but it should help keep you warm it also serves as a nice warm blanket. And I would love to go searching for materials with you."

Alisa smiled and nodded at Rin, Yes! Her name was Alisa! And they did meet with Itzal!...She had the perfect opportunity to make a rather sarcastic comment, however Alisa kept that to herself to spare any bad feelings. She shivered again, but was enjoying it whole-heartedly.

She giggled again, yes, when she had saw Rin last she was close to continually passing out. It was kind of shocking, but at least she was doing much better now.

After a few seconds Rin handed her a large fur cloak, probably because she was shivering. Whilst she normally would have not taken it, and would have rather have endured the cold, the cloak was rather well made. And it looked great! With a large smile she took it putting it on.

"Woah this really good! Did you make this? It feels great, and looks great!" she said exuberantly.

"And uh, whenever you are ready we can just accept the quest from the menu and go out into the forest. Won't take long. Perhaps we could even get to see how beautiful this floor looks like at nighttime!"

When her creation was met with flying colors she simply blushed the cold that caused her paler colors made the embarrassment contrast quite brightly as she shrugged her shoulder. She didn't think that it was anything special, she had heard of other tailor that had been in the business far longer than herself and practicing long hours in the night at their trade. Compared to them she was still a child. She then glanced back up toward her companion as she offered a rather flustered nod, yes. She then rocked back and forth from the pads of her toes back onto her heels as she thought about what to do. The snow crunched beneath her as she packed it down with her motions till she finally stopped and pointed out of the city.

"I was actually going to go on a search for materials now since my shop is slowly running out of business due to a severe lack of materials. I have been sorta failing to hard at the needle and thread for some reason."

Alisa smiled, slipping on the warm coat while listening to Rin talk. Ah, it was surely a very warm cloak made by a very nice person. With a gesture, Alisa turned towards the forest, staring out at it. "Well, lets get moving then?" she half asks half states, taking a few steps forward, waiting on Rin to follow her. Her goal was to find a ton of materials today while getting to know Rin.

The material situation was obvious. She had two left that were in her store, and she needed to be able to craft more food items to train her chef skill. On top of that she could sell her items or feed her friends them. And well, Rin was an interesting character, and Alisa wanted to get to know her a bit better. So, what better way than to mutally help each other and talk at the same time! Win win situation!

As Alisa admired the coat Rin felt a bubbly feeling in her chest, perhaps pride that someone else enjoyed a product she had created in her shop before. Rin now giggled and nodded happily as her friend was asking her to start moving off into fourth floor, the snowy backdrop acting as gorgeous background for them to venture out into. She fully intended locating all the resources she could ever want. The only downsize is she hadn't taken the gatherer perk yet which would have assist greatly in her little endeavor. As they strolled forward Rin began to hum a rather soft melody. It resembled a version of a recent hit song that she had been listening to before they wound up stuck in the game. It was a bit off though as it had been some time since she listened to it. Each passing step left another print in the snow which would be filled in by the game in due time to help keep it's pure unhampered scene. She would remain quiet for the most part unless asked questions though as she was busy scanning through the snow for materials.

A little ways ahead of them was exactly what she needed. The game randomly spawned dead animal for their hide and she would happily take the pelt without having to fight
