For how random of an encounter it started out to be, the redhead didn’t seem like the worst of companions, though the bluenette would’ve much preferred meeting new friends in an organised and controlled manner. Reaching the town, they turned in the quest and reaped the rewards, exchanged pleasantries one final time, and parted at the town’s teleportation pad. Curiously, Loraine seemed to head up to the 14th floor, a place that Birdie had heard very little about- the fact that the girl was a lower level only sparked question marks in the bluenette’s mind, but she elected to ignore it for now. Confirming her own destination to be the first floor’s main settlement, she breathed a sigh of relief and parted from the desert sands, ready to settle in back at her shop and catch up on some sleep.
