Life was a roller coaster of emotions- hardship, grief, love, hatred- never a dull day passed as she grew up in a small rural town in Scotland. Friends were had to come by, and caring family even more so, though she had a will of steel and life's shortcomings weren't enough to dampen her spirit. Sticking it out till the very end, she landed a job in an accounting firm and moved in with one of her best friends, coming to live comfortably by the age of 23. Around half a year later, talk of a brand new revolution in gaming reached her ears. Sword Art Online, a virtual world which allowed players to assume the role of their dream character and fight monsters to earn experience and money, powered by the NerveGear. Try as she might there was no resisting it, and blind curiosity led her to purchase the game and its necessary hardware. Falling ill on the day of release, she shut herself off from the Internet and television and slept through most of the day, waking up later with a start. The apparatus was setup quickly and she was sent underway, landing herself in the virtual world and soon-to-be deathtrap, Aincrad. Everyone's world got turned upside down. Panic and mass hysteria reigned throughout the city, it didn't much bother her. A tavern came into sight. She knew where she'd spend her first evening. Virtues [Charismatic] - If there's one thing she likes more than Scotch Ale, it's being the life of a party. Acting as a compelling figure in the eyes of her real world friends, she always tried to inspire good feelings and confidence within those that looked up to her, and that desire only grew after the SAO incident occurred. A woman of the people, she'll try to repair a damaged soul as best she can by lifting their spirits. [Tough] - Calling Eilidh a tough cookie is one way to describe her. Quickly adopting the role of a tank, she takes her aggressive nature to heart and plays the part of a dependable person, unbreakable both physically and spiritually. Because of this, low-level groups have approached her in search of a human shield and hate magnet, and she's always more than happy to serve as such. [Capable] - Eilidh's intelligence from the real world had carried over into Aincrad, though it's often overlooked in favour of her physical prowess. Whether it's keeping track of which mobs are targeting her, clearing an obstruction from a path, breaking any enemies that stand in her way - she always rises to the challenge and, more often than not, overcomes it. Flaws [Messy] - In the fighting sense. Eilidh is a natural brawn, charismatic and energetic in nature. This leaves little room for concern about subtlety- if there's a clear way she can get something done, no matter how messy the fallout will be, she'll go that route without thinking twice. Inside of Sword Art Online, should you wind up in the face of adversity, there's a need to be more calculated with your actions. More than anything else, this will likely result in her end. [Quarrelsome] - Eilidh's not one to shy away from a fight. Not quite the bareknuckle brawler some think her to be, she'll still retaliate with appropriate force if somebody brushes her the wrong way. A rough upbringing left her with the need to defend herself; the drawback? She developed a likeness towards stirring trouble, being loudmouthed and throwing punches when and where she could. After the SAO incident occurred, the job and friends that acted as restraints were no longer present, and trouble started coming her way. [Hot-tempered] - Restraint is a key skill that one can possess; unfortunately for those she might come across, this tank doesn't have it. She has a way with words when it comes to expressing her distaste, and oh boy, does she do that a lot. Little things can set her off- speak to her the wrong way? Cut her off mid sentence? Whatever you could think of, it'll strike Eilidh's short fuse. After that happens, well... best of luck to you.
