Here you can purchase or order potions of many kinds, ranging from healing and buff potions to 'casual' potions that causes special effects to drinkers. I like to call these babies ipsums. The stats of the Black Swordsman (Afro Version, but not Asuna's boy toy) can be viewed below, as well as the lists of items with prices or whatnot. Keep in mind that it is also possible to order any kind of ipsum. It can be a simple Potion Of Love, a Potion similar to LSD or maybe a Truth Serum. As he begins to do so, he chooses a name that is short but possibly easy to memorize: Homunculus. The term is a reference to an artificial or representation of a small human being. It can be created, theoretically, but Takeshi isn't sure if it is possible or not. Maybe it doesn't, but who knows... Takeshi's shop is pretty simple, clean and comfortable. Most of the surfaces of the floors, walls and ceilings are made of wood in a modern style. A big lobby is available for those who simply wants to relax onto the soft furniture. Behind the counter are the list of items and its prices, as well as some shelves that could display potions in stock. Similar shelves are also placed around the lobby for relaxing players to look at the potions and pick them up for purchase. Several order forms are stacked onto the table with three pens. Behind the counter is a single door that leads to Takeshi's lab, which also serves as what he likes to call 'home'. Far from his bed and nightstand are all kinds of equipment, furniture and ingredients used solely for his work. Protective gear is also available, and there is a device which can blow off all fumes each time he is done with his job for today. The moment he has finished setting up his shop, he begins to get to work immediately. He plans to open the shop once he has more ingredients. He wears protective gear that, in summary, looks almost similar to a plague doctor's costume minus the robe-esque design. The costume's material is strangely similar to a hazmat's, and the beak mask is made of hardened leather, equipped with round glass eyes. The aromatic scent within the mask comforts Takeshi a little as he doesn't need to smell the fumes. As Takeshi waits for his next creations to form into products, he remembers that he indeed attempted to create a 'homunculus' before. But he rather not think of the details for personal reasons. His eyes are closed as he lets out a sigh, deciding to rest for a few minutes since the desired effects take some time to show up. He hopes that he never gets bad potions as of yesterday. Though he is passionate for making healing or buff potions, he also wants to create ipsums too. He partially blames himself for not training in alchemy throughout his hikikomori life, but it is too late to take that life back. In his usual plague doctor suit, Takeshi meshes the ingredients together and mixes them in some chemicals, shaking or stirring the mixtures. Every time he is confident that he finishes experimenting, he places each flask onto a stove and lets it boil for some time while he rests. His chair is convenient for leaning, and he doesn't mind if he is sleeping in the beak mask, as long as he is awake at the moment it is done. Making ipsums might be easier than healing or buff potions, but side effects have to be considered. Sometimes, Takeshi is worried that whatever ipsum he ever created might have effects that may be developed by itself later on. CRAFTING ATTEMPTS Spoiler ID: 75763 CD: 6 Bad Potion create. Discarded. All of them are either unstable or result in a quality that brings little to no effect to a drinker. Behind his stoic expression, he feels disappointed that he can rarely produce good results from his experiments. Even worse, like Jekyll running low on salt, he feels desperate to partake some quests to gather more materials. It has become quite tedious for him. If only there are materials sold at a cheap price, he thinks to himself. Removing his protective gear, Takeshi simply walks out of the lab, and stares at his lone, uncommon healing potion. He is debating himself about whether he can close the store yet again to restock some materials. Surprisingly, it takes a few easy attempts to actually create his first ipsum and an antidote. The antidote is self explanatory, but for his ipsum, Albedo's Sunny D, it is something that randomly came across his mind. Even Takeshi doesn't understand why he was creating it, but it was done anyway. Perhaps he is trying to help somebody to 'open up' in terms of love, though the potion is somehow irrelevant to that.. After pouring the finished chemicals into their respective flasks, Takeshi leans against the chair, happy that he was finally being able to not experiencing a single failure of his work today.
