Takeshi 0 Posted January 28, 2017 #1 Share Posted January 28, 2017 (edited) Takeshi leans against the walls nearby the entrance to the Starting City, observing the Moon rising from the horizon as he lights up his cigarette and puffs out a big smoke from his mouth. He plans to gather more materials for his store, ready to slay anything that stands in his way. He isn't donned in his chainmail armor and helmet, only doing so when he is ready. Despite having his store opened, he is a little doubtful that players will ever come to his store and buy his only potion or filling out a form, particularly due to his rank and the lack of products. It is quite stupid to him that the game limits crafts per day for a player with a certain rank in his or her profession. Who the hell implements that? He puffs out some more smoke with the cigarette between his lips, looking upwards as he tries to find his favorite constellation: Leo. @Birdie Edited January 28, 2017 by Takeshi
Birdie 0 Posted January 28, 2017 #2 Share Posted January 28, 2017 Twirling a turquoise flower between her fingers, Birdie's nose neared the piece of flora. Sweet aroma invaded her senses, followed by an overbearing scent that made her nostrils flare in discomfort. "Geez- okay, too strong," she stated the obvious, pulling the plant away from her face. Delicate hands released the flower onto the bed it once grew from, and she stood up with a disheartened sigh. The fields that surrounded Starting City carried plentiful high-grade resources, showering those smart enough to remain (or too cowardly to leave) with a surplus of materials. This was a truth that Birdie would often protest, given most of her gathering trips near the beginner settlement's proximity seldom turned over results. Clambering to her feet, the woman's hands pressed into her back as she stretched, a tired yawn escaping her lips. "Perhaps reading until the early hours of the morning wasn't the best course of action," she mumbled. Returning from her trip empty handed, Birdie began approaching the city's gates before her pace slowed, speed cut in half. The sight of a man captures her attention; something about his physique, the way he presented himself leaning against the concrete wall. Player killers had stood where the man did now, snuffing out their pray using the vantage point. Curiosity piqued, though for the wrong reasons, Birdie's stroll took a casual veer right as she directed herself towards a fence post, coincidentally within earshot of the man of interest. Attempting to remain inconspicuous, the woman casually leant against the post and swiped two fingers through the air, calling up a menu. As she glanced right, it would seem to untrained eyes that a player was simply observing her stats screen, though it was truthfully an elaborate espionage attempt. Birdie's eyes watched the man, her finger twiddling another part of the menu to strengthen the ruse.
Takeshi 0 Posted January 28, 2017 Author #3 Share Posted January 28, 2017 At first, @Birdie is simply a player that Takeshi can casually ignore, continuing his smoking alone. When she leans beside him though, part of him feels cautious about her presence, hoping that she doesnt have any orange buddies hiding somewhere to ambush him. Without turning his head ever so slightly, his eyes secretly gazes at her, noting her clothing or armor and her face. This doesnt last long, as his eyes avert their gaze back to the full moon. ....Perhaps he can actually ask her for assistance, but second thoughts develop in his mind as he thinks of how he always fights alone. Few acquantainces he met in an inn or somewhere else in the city had warned him that as he progresses to higher levels, teamwork becomes more crucial to advanced adventures. Besides, he doesn't really have anything to say to her. Either to get going quickly or to steer clear away from Birdie for safety measures, Takeshi swipes down his fingers and goes through his inventory. He takes out his entire set of chainmail armor and casually dons the paddings and the chainmail itself, never saying a word. As the helmet become the final piece to wear, Takeshi lets out one more, big puff of smoke before dropping the cigarette and extinguishing it by stepping on it with his foot. The moon looks brighter than ever, his afro hair flowing along the nightly breeze.
Birdie 0 Posted January 30, 2017 #4 Share Posted January 30, 2017 The sight of Takeshi gearing up concerns Birdie, as her eyes casually gaze out to the dark fields beyond. It meant one of three things: he had a target in mind, a threat was nearby, or the player had simply exhausted his desire to stand idly by the city gates. The woman became swayed towards the latter as her eyes followed the falling cigarette, her eyes not flinching as its embers faded beneath the afro warrior's boot. Her guise remained intact, though she wasn't intent on letting it up just yet. If there was a chance, even a small possibility that a player killer lurked nearby, she'd never live it down if an incident were to occur. "It's getting dark," her lips blurt. Eyes widened, she slaps a palm over her face and freezes on the spot, the finger twiddling ceasing a short second later. 'Why did you say that?' A thought demands, but she ignores it. The woman can't bring herself to look over at the man, but instead entertains the thought that he heard the words in full, and can't stop an emotional dark cloud forming above her head. 'Stupid. Stupid!' Twisting slowly towards the player, she anticipates his reaction. @Takeshi
Takeshi 0 Posted January 31, 2017 Author #5 Share Posted January 31, 2017 (edited) Hearing Birdie's words, he grunts a little with an agreeable nod, his afro hair blowing a little harshly from the brief, strong wind. It may or may not be raining soon, and even though he loves rain, he hopes for the former result since the rain at night will somehow make Aincrad darker thanks to the clouds that blocks the moonlight. His eyes slowly glances towards you as he has a feeling that Birdie will want to tag along. He doesnt mind this thankfully, and he is kind enough to let her keep any materials she found. Judging by her weapon and her armor, Takeshi thinks that she has a higher level than him. Good to know. He looks around the field as he starts to walk, finally donning his helmet after he manages to fit his afro hair into the component. He has his shield ready to be raised in case an ambush happens. @Birdie Spoiler ID: 76108 LD: 17 Obtained 1 Material Edited January 31, 2017 by Takeshi
