[SP-F1] Rabbit ears <<Earning a Living: Tailor>>

Marianne looked up at the beautifully decorated store. It was a quest area, run by a NPC that went by the name of Rufus Textillion. The NPC seemed to be rather serious, but sadly, the name of the poor NPC made her giggle madly at the Idea. "This is a rather beautiful store, I love it!" she murmured, a faint smirk on her face. The NPC seemed to be a bit busy at first, but eventually greeted her. "Why Hello there young lady!" He said brightly, waving to Mira. Rufus was dressed in fancy set of clothing, and had a bright smile on his face. "Follow me, my friend. I suppose that you're here to learn how to Become a tailor?" Mira smiled at the NPC, and nodded at his statement. "I'm looking forward to being taught by such an amazing person~" she said airily, "When do we start?" The NPC guided her to the workshop at the back of the store... however, they both were surprised by a lack of materials. "I am very sorry for this, but would it be too much for me to ask of you to retrieve some materials for me?" He asked, an apologetic expression on his face. "That won't be a problem, sir. After all, you are taking me on as an apprentice for the sake of learning more about this profession~" she said brightly. "I'll return in a bit with some materials."

Mira blinked back a bit of tears as she searched around the field that she had traveled to, as the sun was unusually bright for this time of... actually, she didn't really know what season it was on floor one. It was a bit depressing to her, so she immediately went back to searching the reeds and flowers for some materials.

She let out a quiet sigh when she hadn't found anything at first. 'Oh for the love of... this might take longer than I thought...' she thought, a frown on her face as she continued to search the flowers and bushes for the materials. It would probably be quite some time before she finally completed this portion of the quest. 'Regardless', she mused, 'It still seems to be a nice quest, regardless of the random chance for materials to be found.' She hummed a bit, before continuing to search for materials

Mira stuck her head into one of the bushes, searching around for materials. "Mmrmphffhg!" she grunted, before yanking her head out of the bush. an annoyed growl escaped her throat as she did so. "Damn it that hurt!" Mira let out a whoop when she realized that a piece of cotton had become caught in her hair. "Oh well, it isn't conventional, but it's certainly something that works!" She pulled the cotton from her head, before placing it within her inventory. It was pretty fun to be out in the field and searching for these mats, especially since she had noticed that there were a few other players doing the same thing, and that there were also others fighting some rather weak mobs. She blanched a bit when one of them got headbutted into one of the trees, startling her, and causing her to fall into the very same bush she had pulled her head out of.

Mira pulled herself back out of the bush, an embarrassed look on her face, when she was suddenly surrounded by a swathe of polygons as a set of materials shattered right in front of her face. "Oh god freaking-! You've gotta be kidding me!" she growled, an annoyed look on her face. She groaned as she stared at the remainder of the polygons fluttering away from her face. She growled again, before standing up and continuing to search for the materials, though she didn't find anything else. she let out a quiet sigh, before closing her eyes, and leaning against a tree. "I might as well catch a few z's before I have to search for more materials again..." she yawned, and snuggled against the tree just a tad bit more. she smiled as thoughts of the real world flooded her mind, alongside her memories of her friends. 'Y'know... I think it would be pretty nice to go back to those days at some point...' she opened her eyes just a bit more, in order to look up through the foliage that was within this forest.

Mira blinked as she noticed a hanging vine within the branches of the tree that was just above her head. "Damn... that vine is way up in that freaking tree..." she muttered, before beginning to climb up the tree, keeping an eye out for footholds that would help speed up her climbing. she smirked as she managed to finally get to the length of vine... that is, until she ended up falling right out of the tree after losing her footing at one of the highest parts of the tree. "KYAAAAA!!" there was a loud thud, as she once again landed within the bushes below... with the vine wrapped around her ankles. 'For the love of god, I want to burn that damn bush!' She thought furiously, before untangling the length of vine, and shoving it inside of her inventory. she sat there a few moments, fuming silently, before starting to kick the awful bush. "This. is. for. leaving. me. stuck. inside. of. YOU!" she snarled, shrieking with anger at the immortal object sign that had popped up at the site of her foot hitting the bush. "This is so uncool..." she muttered, before flopping down at the foot of the tree.

Mira let out a quiet sigh, staring up at the tree again. She silently mused about being able to climb right up to the very top of it, a contemplative look on her face. It was mainly just her thinking about whether or not she could climb all the way up to the top of the tree without falling this time. Eventually, she hopped up, before jumping onto the tree, using the various notches and low hanging branches to pull herself higher and higher up within the tree. She eventually reached about midway up the tree, before she stopped to enjoy the view. The icy blue sky and puffy white clouds gave off the illusion that this was the real world, and a very realistic one at that. She watched as the other players continued with their daily routines, fighting mobs, farming for materials, gaining levels... it was all a part of this game, and she most certainly enjoyed it. "I love how it gives all of us a second chance." she murmured, a smile on her face. "It's always so nice to see younger kids actually work together to take care of each other... It makes me feel like my Job was worth it!"

Mira continued sitting on the branch, watching over the other players. Since it was floor one, not many people were that afraid to venture out of town, especially since there was a few quests you could do near safe zones that helped get you enough levels to go out into the wilderness and actually fight mobs later on. It was a nice system that Kayaba had implemented... despite the fact that the game was, y'know... a freaking death trap? At least he gave the players trapped within a bit of a reprieve, and made it easier to level up while stuck on the lower floors as a lower-level player. Mira chuckled a bit at the sight of a middie teaching a newbie how to fight monsters, as the Middie ended up getting forced into a back-flip by the boar. she shook her head a bit, and continued up the tree, humming to herself as she went up further and further...

Finally, Mira managed to reach the very top of the tree. It was a beautiful view, giving her a good look at all of the other players and the field. Mira was actually able to see a pack of boars and bears swarming around a smaller part of the field. Mira let out a whoop, before hopping from the tree that she was perched in, and lept into a tree that was beside it. Mira repeated this action for a few minutes, easily managing to land all of the jumps. Eventually, Mira slowly started jumping down the branches, swiftly reaching the floor within a matter of moments. It was exhilarating to run around in the clearing, and jump about in the trees.... Yeah, no. She eventually went out to go and talk with a few of the other players in order to see what they were actually doing. She got multiple responses, though for the most part it was simply about various other people taking different iterations of the exact same quest as her.
