Alec awoke from sleep laying draped across the oversized couch in his living room. As he yawned and stretched he idly wondered to himself if maybe he should splurge and actually get himself a bedroom one of these days but then just as quickly dismissed the thought for a later times problem as he rolled and twisted and planted his bare feet on the cool stone floor of his living room floor. The large man flexed his tree trunk like legs and stood up stretching as he rose to alleviate the soreness and stiffness that came with sleeping when you reached a certain age. It always boggled Alec's mind that once you reached a certain age it seemed you woke up felling more stuff and tired than when you went to sleep. With a shrug and a shake if his head stood up and stepped over his companion and friend Humphrey who lay sprawled out on the floor beside Alec's couch as he made his way across his living room headed for the kitchen and some breakfast.

Alec made his way across the stone floor of his home as he twisted and stretched working out the kinks in his muscles and joints as he went. As Alec walked into the kitchen he made his way over to the fridge and pulled the door open reaching inside his large hand came out with a large container of juice which he took several long draws from straight out of the container which he placed upon the counter and reached back inside coming out with a container of eggs, some bacon and done diced up potatoes. Alec placed them all into a pan and began cooking them as he poured himself a mug of coffee and took a long approving drink if the dark hot liquid which ended with a deep satisfied sigh of contentment and sheer enjoyment. Once Alec was done cooking he slid the creation into a large bowl and pulled a fork from one of the drawers and sat down at a tall stool at the counter to enjoy his breakfast and his coffee.

Once Alec had finished his breakfast he placed his dishes into the sink and the rest of the items back into his fridge as he turned and left the kitchen opening his inventory with a quick downward swipe of his index finger before he began scrolling through the items listed within his inventory till he came upon his vanity clothing which he equipped as he entered his living room and walked over to his familiar Humphrey who was still sprawled out on the floor snoring softly. A faint grin played at the corner of Alec's mouth at the sight and sound of his friend and trusted companion as he gently nudged his companion with the toe of his boot eliciting an annoyed grumble and a swat from the bear Cub's paw as it rolled over continuing to grumble as it did so. "Oh come on big guy." Alec offered jovially as he chuckled at the bear cub as it rolled back over and stretched as well letting out a yawn and growl combination as it did so.

The American black bear cub rolled over and stretched before getting to its feet and beginning to walk around the stone floored living room letting out another growl and yawn combination that caused his large friend to let out a low deep laugh again. "Well pal you about ready to start your day or what?" Alec asked playfully in his low deep rumble of a voice. The bear cub growled back as it flopped into a sitting position and stared up at the large man with its head cocked to the side. "All right pal let's go find some trouble." Alec offered as his playful nature hardened for a moment and a gleam came into his eyes. The bear cub growled his ascent and get up and began heading for the front door of Alec's cabin. Alec took two long strides and caught up to his friend and companion as they walked together to the front door of Alec's cabin and made their way outside into the snowy world that was the Fourth Floor of Aincrad.

Alec pulled the door of his cabin open and a frigid blast of air surged in blowing flecks and flakes of snow into the cabin ad the pair stepped out into the snowy wonderland that was the Fourth Floor of Aincrad in Alec and all the others digital prison. Alec pulled the door shut behind them and the pair made their way out into the the drifts of snow that made up the Fourth Floor. The snow was knee deep and made travelling slow except that Alec strapped on a pair of snow shoes and began making his way easily across the top of drifts heading for the the main settlement of Snowfrost. Alec watched as Humphrey charged forward barreling through the drifts of snow sometimes disappearing completely within the large white mounds of soft fluffy snow. The American black bear cub loved this floor and the cold weather it provided and do did Alec. It was odd considering in the rear world Humphrey would be lethargic and hibernating in this sort of weather but here the computer constructed bear cub had no such compunctions or limitations.

The Pair of companions made their way through the snowy environment of the Fourth Floor enjoying the peace and quiet surrounding them as they walked through the new falling snow the air crisp and biting in their lungs and their skin prickled by goose bumps but feeling no discomfort from the weather at all thanks to the Survival skill Alec had learned. After walking for some time Alec and Humphrey arrived at the Fourth Floors main settlement of Urbus and entered the main gate which was no more than a gap in the wooden palisade that served as the settlements wall for security. The town was small and low slung most buildings were two stories or below and the entire settlement was very rustic and spartan which Alec approved of greatly. This village wasn’t over done like some of the other floors and that’s why Alec called it home.

Alec and Humphrey made a lap of he town as they usually did when they arrived here just to see if anything had changed and to generally enjoy the feel of the small rustic settlement. The buildings were all primitive and sturdy with little to no ostentation which pleased Alec greatly and brought the faintest tug of a smile to the corner of Alec’s perpetual scowl as he walked the village and looked over the inhabitants and his surroundings. Once he and Humphrey had completed their circuit Alec stopped at one of the few taverns here on this floor and walked inside the room was distinctly warmer inside than outside due to the large stone fireplace that took up the majority of one wall and had a crackling fire blazing in the hearth. Alec walked over and ordered a drink then sank down into one of the oversized arm chairs in front of it while Humphrey stretched out before the fire with a contented groan and growl.

Alec sat contentedly with his legs stretched out before him sipping on the drink in his hand as the warmth of the fire blazing in the fireplace before him warmed his chilled body, not that he actually felt the cold any more. As the warmth eased through his body Alec let the faintest of smiles play across his stern features and soften his perpetual scowl. He found himself stagnant today and that wasn't good. If he wasn't moving forward then he wasn't getting better and if he wasn't getting better he wasn't working on getting free of this digital prison and if he wasn't trying to get free of this digital prison he wasn't fighting to get home to Gwen and Danny and that could not be allowed Alec thought fiercely to himself as he drained his drink and in a moment of guru crushed the glass he had been holding causing it to explode in a tiny shower of twinkling pixels. Alec placed both hands on the arms of the chair and pushed himself up angrily.

Alec stood and began irritably stomping across the hard wood floor furious at himself for his idleness and laziness. As Alec's foot steps thumped heavily across the floor of the tavern he froze mid step as he caught the sound of hushed conversation to his side. Alec spun on his foot and lurched towards the pair sitting at a table talking. "What was that?!?" Alec growled menacingly at the pair seated there shocking them into silence. "Don't clam up now!" Alec growled as he leaned forward pointing one large finger at the pair. "Say that part again." The non player character stammered and faltered. "Well.....uh.....sir.....I was saying.....I......had heard.....there......uhh......is a group of.......uh....... Bandits on the......uhh......Ninth Floor.....who......uhh......are.....uhh....blocking the prime.......uhh.....farming spots from others......and......uhh......keeping them to......uhh........ themselves." the non player character stammered as the large heavily muscled man leaned forward menacingly.

"BANDITS!!!" Alec growled fiercely startling the two non player characters further by his sudden increased fierceness. "I......HATE.......BANDITS!!!" Alec growled deeper and with more aggression. "RRRRAAAWWWWRRRR!!!" Alec roared as he turned abruptly and his heel and stormed out the door in a fury as he flung the door open before him causing a huge blast of cold air to whip into the room as he stalked into the snow outside stomping down the narrow street with a singular destination in mind and a driving goal fuelling him, DESTROY ALL BANDITS!!! Alec stalked the streets of Snowfrost headed for the Teleportation pad with fury in his eyes and death in his wake as stepped up onto the Teleportation pad and fiercely growled "Yogan Village!" causing everything to go dark in a blink of an eye. As Alec's vision returned he glared about himself and took in the sight again of Yogan Village.

Alec stormed through the streets of Yogan Village his heavy booted feet stomping on the flagstones and stirring up whorls of soot as charges through the street his perpetual scowl firmly affixed to his face as death fire cold in his eyes. He was a laser guided missile of hate and destruction and he was firmly locked on target. There were Bandits here on the Ninth Floor and was their doom, their destroyer, their death incarnate and he was coming for them. Humphrey sensed his master's mood and the generally jovial American black bear cub trotted along his fur rankled and raised at his hackles as trotted at Alec's side. Alec didn't even stop when he reached the courtyard just inside the front gate of the town he merely charged through the open portal and burst into the lava pool spotted floor continuing his charge with reckless abandon his sights set on one thing the complete and total destruction of a group of Bandits.

As Alec barreled through the main gate of Yogan Village he stabbed his index finger out swiped down in a furious fashion opening his inventory as he began taking his finger up and down scouring his inventory. Finally he reached the section he was looking for and jabbed his finger forward stabbing the icon for his Vanquisher Shoulder Armor and didn't even bother to glance down as a heat mirage like illusion caused his shoulders to waver and shimmer as his heavy armor shoulder guards appeared strapped firmly to his shoulders and upper torso. The heavy armor looked like a pair of thick metal football shoulder pads which were duffed and had I mild shine to them along with Celtic markings etched deeply into the surface. The heavy armor piece also had a thick layer of sift lush fur for protection and comfort between the metal armor and large man body who wore them.

Next Alec savagely swiped his index finger up and down till he came to the second item he was searching for as he continued his whirlwind lumbering charge through the lava rock environment as he again stabbed an icon, this one was for his shield Mirror's Embrace. Again Alec was too fixated on his goal for finding and eradicating the Bandits to be bothered with the heat mirage like waver that appeared again, this time around his forearm as his shield materialized out of thin air. His shield Mirror's Embrace was highly polished and drew the attention and focus of opponents he fought forcing them to focus their concentration on himself. The shield also had a razor sharp edge that was cut in the shape of a giant saw blade and was amazingly effective at tearing into and through enemies that got too close to him and caused him damage.

As Alec continued storming through the lava rock surroundings of the Ninth Floor he continued his overly agressive agitated swiping through his inventory tell he came to the next item he was searching for as he stopped swiping and reached out stabbing the icon that represented his newest weapon, the battle axe he had created in Macradon's shop for himself. As he jabbed to picture with his finger the air around his other forearm began to shimmer and waver in a third fake heat mirage as his Forearm Axe winked into existence through the mirage. The weapon was made of a solid piece of metal and fit over his forearm like a buckler shield but instead of a shield it had two crescent shaped battle axe heads on top and bottom of his forearm with a long spike protruding the outside of his forearm. The weapon was extremely sharp and Alec hoped it would serve him well until he could finish creating the final version of the prototype he currently wore. Today and these Bandits would be its blooding and field trail and Alec desperately wanted that to happen soon, he was getting overly anxious.

Alec neared the end of his angry violent swiping as he found the last item he wanted and reached jamming his index towards the icon next to his Luck Stone as he assigned it to his Battle Ready Items list and then furiously swiped his entire hand and violent dismissive gesture closing his inventory and stalking along seething in hate and anger for the Bandit's he was searching for. These Bandits had reached the end if their days they just don't hadn't realized it yet Alec thought to himself as he stormed along the lava rock landscape side stepping and walking around pools of liquid hot maga and molten lava that flowed lazily alongside the fury of a giant that stormed through with hate and death surrounding him as he went. Had he stopped to think he would know it was irrational to be acting like this but since his quest on the Fifth Floor where he had almost died and spent the entire night fleeing a pack of Bandits or Thieves he had developed an unreasoning hatred for their kind and sought their eradication from the face of Aincrad wherever he encountered or even caught a hint of their presence.

As Alec stomped and stormed through the lava rock and magma pool landscape he came to an abrupt halt and cocked his head....listening. There he'd heard it again the sound of boisterous banter. Some yahoos were laughing and joking and carrying on with not a care in the world. Alec crouched over and began to move forward as if a gigantic predatory animal stalking its prey. As Alec slowly moved forward he found himself on the top of a ridge about ten feet above the interior of a bowl. Inside the bowl was a grouping of canvas tents surrounding a camp fire and four dirty unwashed Bandits lounged around in a small group laughing and carrying on without a care in the world. A deep low growl escaped Alec's throat as he crouched with his hands upon the lava rock glaring down at the four Bandits before him. Oh yes! Alec thought to himself they would die by his hand he was the whirlwind that would reap them and wash them from the face of Aincrad.

With a gutteral and feral roar Alec launched himself off of the overhang like a gigantic monstrous comet which came crashing down amid the cluster of Bandits. As Alec arose from his crouch he called on the energy to power a Sword Art and felt the satisfying surge as the energy poured through him into his Forearm Axe causing it to begin glowing and vibrating as the power crested Alec lashed out with his Forearm Axe swinging it in a wide arc that flew in a blur. His footing wasn't fully set do Alec missed his swing at the first Bandit but his swing at the second and third Bandit's smashed into them multiple times as if felling a tree. The first and fourth Bandits lashed out with their short swords but Alec swung his shield up knocking their strikes away harmlessly. The second Bandit's blade skidded off his shoulder armor nicking him with a tiny cut as the third Bandit followed in also nicking the gigantic whirling dervish if muscle and rage in their midst as Alec swung his shield around and sliced deeply into the third Bandit opening a large gash across his stomach. As Alec finished standing and heaved derp gulping breaths of air as he growled and roared at the Bandits like a mad man.

Alec reached out and drew on the energy to power another Sword Art and felt the energy surge through him and begin building within his Forearm Axe which began to glow and vibrate. Once the energy had reached its peak Alec lashed out again in a wide swing with his axe. Alec's swing was again so fast as to appear as a blur as he missed his multi strike at the first and fourth Bandits again but his swings tore into the second and third Bandits again dropping their health bars by a solid amount. The first and third Bandits thrust their short swords at Alec which he easily blocked with a raised shield ad he completed his spin amid the Bandits again. His shield lashed out and tore into the second Bandit while he and the fourth Bandits scored glancing blows that were instantly healed by Alec's Battle Healing. Alec roared again as he brought his shield up before him and held his Forearm Axe low and behind.

Alec contiued his savage and relentless assault on the Bandits as he reached out and drew on the games energy to again power another Sword Art. The energy flooded through him and I to his weapon causing the Forearm Axe to glow and vibrate again as the large man swung round at the Bandits for a third time lashing out at his targets. Alec's side arcing blurred swing missed the first and fourth Bandits again but connected solidly with the second and third Bandits chopping into them with a triple strike each that caused them both to begin vibrating and shaking before exploding into twin showers of pixels that rained down as Alec again brought his shield up. The first Bandit scored a glancing blow on the giant whirlwind of death devastating the Bandits but Alec swung his shield around slicing deeply into the Bandit and opening a large cut in his abdomen as Alec's Battle Healing triggered again and healed him fully once more. Alec's perpetual scowl became a viscous sneer as he gazed at the two remaining Bandits with a predatory gleam in his eyes and a growl in his throat.

Alec brought his shield back in front of himself and let his Forearm Axe hang ready at his side as he completed another round of attacks against the Bandits. As two exploded Alec stared a predatory grin at the two remaining Bandits. Alec reached out to draw on the energy to power a Sword Art but as he reached out the energy refused to answer his call and taunted him just out of his reach. Alec growled fiercely at being denied the ability to perform a Sword Art as the two Bandits both lunged forward stabbing with their short swords but Alec easily back handed both their blades away with on single swipe of his shield as he brought his shield back before him and swore under his breath at the two remaining Bandits. These two remaining Bandits were proving pesky and only caused Alec's ire and rage to build more as he glared at the pair of remaining Bandits and ground his teeth in irritation.
