Alviss 0 Posted June 11, 2014 #1 Report Share Posted June 11, 2014 Rawlin had what he always wanted a grand adventure like none has ever seen. But adventuring the only thing on this redheads' mind. He wanted solitude, a place to feel at home and purpose other than just fighting monsters to get to the end of the game. He sought the answer for many months until he found it! He would be a Merchant, not just for towns but on the battlefield as well. He wanted to be the first Wandering Merchant. His fiery will sought it to happen and he would make sure his new dream would become reality! Rawlin set out to floor 2 from the hotel he was staying in at floor 1. Rawlin wasn't the biggest fighter though he had to admit the monsters had more thought processes then the ones he played in other games. It was like they were actual monsters! Taking the spear out of his pack he readied himself for battle. 1: If 1-5 Rawlin would attempt a defensive pose 2: If 6-8 Rawlin would attempt to attack the boar with a horizontal strike to the side. 3: If 9-10 Rawlin would attempt to stab the boar through the back. As he got closer he started to dash towards the boar which now was on full alert by this point. Rawlin had it mildly surprised as it started to charge. Rawlin then dashed to the side as the boar rushed by almost hitting him as it rushed by. Rawlin proceeded to attack the boar with a horizontal slice as his weak bronze spear made a small cut into it. The cut apparently didn't do much but it did hurt it. Rawlin inched closer as he readied his spear again. Now in a small crouch he was waiting, waiting for it to make a move. The boar tried charging at Rawlin again which caught him by surprise he would have to think fast if he would get out of this one. Rawlin was taken aback but all to quickly he re-adjusted his stance as he aimed his spear forward into the charging boar. The boar which barely had any time to dodge, took the blow right through the shoulder area. It was practically dead now all that was left was to finish it off. The boar which was now on its last legs was visibly fatigued as if could collapse at any moment. Rawlin decided to end it quick as he rushed the boar preparing to end it. Rawlin who carelessly rushed the boar tripped on a well placed branch and fell on his face right in front of the boar! Rawlin lowered himself into a crouch with his spear under his right arm and his left arm outstretched toward the boar. His right hand was near the bottom of the spear while the middle was under his right arm. Soon his spear's head started to glow a light blue as Rawlin's hazel brown eyes grew more serious. (Custom Sword Art: Lunge: Basic sword art where the user lunges their spear into the foe. The art requires holding the spear at its bottom while giving the position to lunge. Rawlin is just showing off for the rest.) Rawlin was to busy showing off to notice the boar move to the side in time to dodge it. Quote Report Link to post Share on other sites

He threw his spear at the boar out of anger hoping that would kill it. Though if it missed he would be missing his weapon entirely. The boar had not expected that and was run through with the spear thus completely killing it. Boar 0/4 Rawlin was surprised at this point. He did it! He actually did it! He beat the darn thing out of sheer dumb luck. Rawlin retrieved his spear and put it back in his pack also noticing the drops weren't really that good he ignored them and went on his way back to town. He was annoyed and a bit distraught as he walked the streets of the first town. He then had an idea. If he was to become a merchant he would need things to sell right? So Rawlin would set back out to the fields to fight again boars again. Rawlin though still hurt from the earlier boars' attack decided to rest a bit in his room before he set out. After resting up he set out with spear in hand to fight more boars. Rawlin decided he would attempt a surprise attack on the boar which ended up fully alerting the boar as it got into a ready stance now ready to fight. Rawlin wasn't going to fool this boar now he had to devise a strategy for defeating it like the last one. Quote Report Link to post Share on other sites

Rawlin got up and readied his spear as he was ready to counter attack. The Boar dashed to the side and headbutted Rawlin's side. Rawlin winced in pain as he lost some of his meter.
