[SP|F01] Earning my place at your side

Recommended Posts

Lugh had spent a whole day with Andi, and while they partied that night for surviving yet another journey into the field, Lugh couldn't help but feel like he was useless once again. He basically chipped away at the monster's HP and hoped that it would eventually die before hurting him or even worse his sister. If I'm going to protect her, I'm going to need to get a lot stronger. Once the man was sure Andi had fallen asleep in her room (She can't get into trouble in there) Lugh would slip out of the inn and walk through the streets. It was almost relaxing, not having to keep an eye out for danger around every turn.

Soon though, that feeling of security would vanish. He would have to leave that at the gate if he wanted to survive. The boars were distant, but even still Kieran couldn't help but try to keep an eye on every one of them. Their patterns were almost erratic to the boy, like something he had never seen. He had no experience fighting beasts, only cocky high schoolers and the occasional drunk who got a little to close to his baby sister. Still though, there was no fear in this young man's mind. You see, the boy saw himself as nothing short of invincible. He had to, otherwise he would never be able to protect his younger sibling.

Not long after entering the combat zone, a rapid pitter patter would nip at the guard dog's ears, pulling his attention to his right when he noticed a red marker floating swiftly towards him. His blade would escape its scabbard and dance across the side of the boar, but not without letting it take his leg out from under him. Well that was graceful. I'll not let you do that again piggy. His mind had completely cut out the sense of dread most players would feel. His feet were planted perfectly on the ground and his eyes locked on the boar's glowing red pits. The red streak across its side was a telling sign that the young man was ready. His blade would dance in his hand, practically begging to skewer the piglet.
