» Username: Zelrius
» Real name: Doesn't matter
» Age: 19 [As of Oct 8th 2015]
» Gender: Male
» Height: 5'9

» About: In the real world Zelrius is someone with few friends. He does okay in the few sports he plays and Is too intelligent for his peers. This leads him to do many hours of gaming. Though a natural born 'talker', He is very fluent in conversation and often jokes, trying to always have a good time. He values speed above all other skills as he believes speed can help win and escape sticky situations, as it did so many times in the real world. When he heard about the Nervegear and SAO He couldn't comprehend it. A Place where he could use his intelligence AND be athletic along with it being a video game? Impossible. Them mega fast internetz As of late in game, Zelrius has been pushed further from all those he found close to him, thinking at this point that everyone either wants to kill him and take his Unique items, or simply use him to their own gain. As of now, he distrusts even his closest friends.

» Virtues: Humility,
. Charismatic - The sort of personality that just gives him a sociable personality, yet something not terribly talkative. His mannerisms and pattern of speech gives him that of something you would see from a cheesy aristocrat character in most video games.

. Cleanliness - Zelrius tends to keep himself and the area around pretty much clean and tidy. Rarely leaving a mess or creating one, Zelrius often spends his time checking his own appearance and attempting to make sure everything is up to par and he looks presentable.

. Ambition, - His aims go great and far. Often times his goals may seemed far fetched, But thus he has yet to fail something he was attempting at. As of now, this only helps boost his ego along to a point of annoyance for most people, But as long as he keeps aiming and getting higher, Zelrius cares not for their opinion.

» Flaws:

. Quick to Judge - Zelrius takes his past experience with other people and their personalities and often times puts a label on people just for the way their speech sounds or the way they present themselves in a pattern of walking, generally small unreasonable things to that sort.

. Smart-alecky - Often times, Zelrius gets easily annoyed with those around him and begins dropping his elegant speech for a more irritated (And irritating to most) pattern of speech that often resembles that of a small spoiled child who got denied something. This can give way to a rage within Zelrius.

. Stubborn - Due to his egotistical personality, Zelrius thinks his own ideas are the best and that often there is no better way. This leads him to make a decisions or agree to one, and not able to switch ideas, regardless of how bad it may or may not fail. It matters not the importance of the choice either, only he matters in his own mind.

Arrogant  - Eternally caught up with his own self, Zelrius often times disregards all those around him and continues on whatever it was he was doing, regardless of the opinions or ideas of anyone he interacts with. Up to this point being undefeated has left Zelrius to be more steadfast and headstrong, fueled by his ego.

Arc 1: The Humble Gamer

Enterting, The golden haired boy was ready to play Virtual Reality. It was an experience no gamer of his caliber would pass up. That was, until the announcement. Starting the game, Zelrius was a bit late on the draw when getting started grinding and going. Nonetheless, it wasn't long after Kayaba's announcement that he ran into the fields to kill boars and wolves. In this time, The boy quickly climbed levels and garnered equipment from the shops and resources open to him. Given that the frontlines were desperate at the time, Shark, Zauis, and Ryujin let the young boy fight on the frontlines and he did so. For a time, Zelrius was a part of the Knights of Christ with the rest of his fellow Frontliners, and together, Zelrius fought with them on the Fourth and Fifth floor boss battles, along with the fight with the Red Diamond hunter, in which Zelrius for the first time saw a PKer. He disregarded the fact that the person, Ruby, was a known murderer, and was the first to strike the Red Diamond Hunter. In the time of all this happening, Zelrius obtained his weapon, Sange, which he would use for the next few months.

Arc 2: The Blood Buccaneer.

The Blood Buccaneer being born after the day he killed the girl named Atenea. Though the boy claimed he had taken many lives for the months following, it is true that his only kill was in fact that woman. The battle being initiated in the deserts of Floor five, and coming to a quick ending, Zelrius chain paralyzing the girl and killing her with haste. His cursor now orange, and not being allowed into cities for what appeared to be ever again, The boy ran off into the darkness, wondering what it was he would do. In this time, Zauis had soloed the Floor six boss and Zelrius went on a solo crusade himself through the Jungles, the longest solo excursion to date. (Just for Kicks) Shortly afterwards, Zelrius went with Clarence to fight a Cerberus esque 'boss', that was more less a monster with good stats. After the kill, they obtained the Gem Alderon, a Side quest item that gave no rewards, Much to Zelrius's disappointment. Given that Sange was a curved blade matching that of a Sabre or cutlass, The boy became known as The Blood Buccaneer following the murder of Atenea, and his claiming of many more, though she was the only one.

Arc 3: The Brigade

Somewhere along the way, Zelrius met Shanok, someone Zelrius knew to particpate in the fight in the Red Diamond Hunt event and to work with a friend of his, Garou. In this time, Those two were in a guild named Sonus Silenti, which next to The Knights of Christ, was one of the most powerful guilds at the time (The Ebon Vanguard has just formed around this time). It was with Garou's disappearance that left Zelrius's new friend, Shanok, and his old friend, Clarence Guildless. Along with meeting Miaki, Kieth, and Daeron, some of the most powerful players in the game at the time, they all got along and decided they would party for a while. Within a month or so, Garou had returned to find his Guild has disappeared and all he had left of it was Shanok and Clarence. Together, The seven males (Miaki, Shanok, Keith, Daeron, Garou, Zelrius, and Clarence) formed the Guild the Azure Brigade. The first guild to be ruled by Council and within moments had the most members along with some of the strongest players alive. It was during this time, The Ebon Vanguard gave rise and rivaled Azure for some time. The differences between the two guilds was Ebon took everyone they could and had a complex Hierarchy, Whereas Azure remained mostly Elitist and they only had two ranks: Council (Later renamed to Commandants) and Brigadier. The Commandants of the Azure Brigade went on a excursion to clear the Seventh floor and came back successful with no deaths. Somewhere in the middle, Miaki met Nikki Styx, a High rank in the Vanguard, and, the first real tank of SAO. Zelrius and Nikki instantly went head to head, their Personalities clashing. Zelrius had begun to get arrogant and narcissistic,  as he is today, and often attempted to intimidate and scare the lower levels while simultaneously annoying the stronger players to High Hell.

Arc 4: Brigade vs Vanguard

The Azure Brigade continued to be a rising powerhouse, even as their strongest member Keith left to join various guilds throughout Aincrad, including the Ebon Vanguard, at the request of his Fiance Cicila. The Azure Brigade and The Ebon Vanguard had arguments with eachother with the sudden decrease activities from Azure's Miaki and the Vanguard's Nikki Styx. Eventually, the two worked out their schedules so that they could be part of their guilds, along with spending the time together. Despite it being worked out, This still fueled conflict between Ebon and Azure. All the while, Smaller and less powerful guilds rose and fell on whims, With only The Vanguard, The Brigade, and The Knights of Christ staying through to it all. Tensions rose between the Vanguard and The Brigade leading up to the Eighth floor boss fight. All the While, Zelrius teased, intimidated, and scared lower levels, along with drawing back midway through the fight letting the others do the dirty work. After the death of the Boss, Zelrius stepped out from the Shadows, spoke a few words and then Nikki Styx snapped. This being the first weapon conflict between the Brigade and the Vanguard, Zelrius didn't waste a second drawing his sword to Meet Nikki's Spear and the two fought in front of the Frontliners. For the first time, Zelrius had lost a battle and it opened his eyes to how weak he was. After Miaki and Saix pulled Nikki off of Zelrius while she was pummeling him, the golden haired boy got up, and disappeared to the Ninth Floor without a word. Immediately after Eighth floor boss fight, Plans began to be made for The First battle of the Hydra, Though at the time it was not called that.

Arc 5: Yin and Yang

The First Battle of the Hydra ended in complete diaster with the small team that was mostly ineffective against the boss. The team withdrew and retreated out of the Boss room. Though no Death was actually witnessed, Renowned players like Saix, Daeron and a few others disappeared. With Saix, the Leader of the Ebon Vanguard, Nikki Styx assumed leadership. Though she quickly realized that most of the guild was loyal to Saix, and not the actual Guild itself. This was the beginning of the end for the Vanguard, and quickly it began to fall apart. Sometime after The First Fight of the Hydra, a group of some Sixteen players had met and fought a Legendary Twinfire Phoenix in a field on Floor Nine. It was this battle, that Zelrius realized, and proved to the rest of Aincrad, that he was one of the strongest around, Dealing almost twice the damage of anyone else in the fight with the exception of Zero and his three great beasts. The Phoenix was dispelled with quickly, and Zero got the final hit. Alkor had received the Twinfire reflector after taking so much damage from the Phoenix, and left with it. Zero had received the Twinfire Sword from the last hit, and per request from him, gave it to Zelrius in exchange for a favor to be called upon anytime he so choose. The Ebon Vanguard, the actual strongest guild in Aincrad, reached its peak of Glory and fell quickly to Ruin. As did the Azure Brigade following the disappearance of Daeron, Miaki, Garou and Clarence for some time. Reaching Yang, and falling to Yin. Ruin and Glory.

Arc 6: Closed

(Note: this arc is simultaneous with Yin and Yang, just completely different events.) Following Aincrad's first tournament, Zelrius walked away a loser from it and went floor wandering to get stronger. It was in this time, Zelrius had met several people and conversed with them, some of them even forming friendships. Some names of these people being Tristan Delaney, the second real tank Zelrius had met thus far next to Nikki, Mari, a highly notorious PKer and strong player all around, Lessa, the leaders of the Guardians of Aincrad, Kiru, a female who took a liking to Keith, Rebekah, whom he met through a kind of status ailment that caused him to be slightly 'unpredictable' doing things like starting fires for no reason, and Freya, whom he actually really liked, and even felt close to love for her. The boy went so far as to even invite her to a Rumored ball event at the end of a Maze and in the middle of a Tree. It was in the middle of the Maze that Freya made it abundantly clear she had no interested in the Golden haired boy and even went so far as to continue to break his hear with her words. Being Zelrius had never actually liked a girl the way he did with Freya, her doing this caused Zelrius to close up and give way completely to his ego, using it so that no one said he was weak or made fun of him. Following the Summer Ball event, Zelrius swore to himself to only focus on the game, and not anything else. He took on the Gemini quest and did what he thought would kill The Blood Buccaneer. After defeating the Gemini, Zelrius knew that he didn't want to be The Blood Buccaneer, but he had to, atleast for now.
