» Height: 6'9

» About: Alice (And, by default, Saynon) has dark brown hair that extends to her shoulder blades, but she always ties it in a ponytail to keep it from getting in her face. Her eyes are a color she jokingly refers to as 'chocolate rum', though they are dark enough to almost be black. Being a lover of the phrase 'good food, good wine, and good company', she has a bit too much meat on her bones to be considered lean, but she if she were to describe her hobbies, she would say she likes to 'work hard, play hard, and live life to the fullest'. She finds it to be an accurate description of her adoration for hardcore workouts and dangerous activities like mountain climbing and kickboxing.

However, despite her rather intense way of living, her work and her interests different quite immensely. Alice's mother (who was moved from America to Japan as a child) had been a bartender for most of her life and because she had many friends in the food service industry, she was able to dive into the career as soon as she was 21. Though she left the bar to her co-workers when she was pregnant with Alice, she returned as soon as Alice was old enough to be left with a trusted sitter. Much like her mother (who loved her very much despite not being home at night), Alice adored bar-tending before she was even twenty and got plenty of help from her mother on taste and quality.

These days, she bar-tends at The Traveler's Tavern, a classy yet homey bar and restaurant that belongs to her mother's old partner, Katsumoto Masuko. Katsumoto let Alice to move into the upstairs area of the tavern two years ago and that's where she was when she first entered SAO. She loved gaming as a child as much as she loved bar-tending now and had wanted to get a bit back into it. Her mother had recently retired and moved to the country (being in her thirties when she had Alice), leaving Alice without family when the 'event' happened.

» Virtues:

Tolerance. Willingness to allow others to lead a life based on convictions different from her own. Ex: Accepting of both those who think everyone should give their all to clearing the game and those who are too scared to even leave the first town.

Generosity. Lending an ear and shoulder to a complete stranger if they needed it. A type of instinct to help or save others if they were in trouble.

Patience. The ability to delay or wait without anger for what she desires. Whether it is the end of the game or for her acquaintances to be available for hunting.

» Flaws:

Aimless. To be devoid of any real direction or purpose. Ex: Completing the game is a purpose

Fickle. To be characterized by erratic changeableness or instability, especially with regard to affections or attachments. Ex: Not making friends, changing her mind on a whim.

The Wanderer's Curse. Player has no solid anchors anywhere in SAO (No place to call home, if you will) and wanders Aincrad's towns, dungeons, etc. Never in one place for too long, but can re-visit those places. Player usually stays in inns due to lack of an actual home, but can have a shop for personal crafting provided that it is moved frequently to follow the wanderer's roaming. Though it isn't a true curse that gives the player no choice in the matter, it is a deeply set state of mind that cannot be easily shaken.

Relationships

» The Wanderer's Curse - Saynon has no true relationships with other players. While there are many she might call friend and plenty that she would go monster hunting with, she has no long-lasting relations with anyone in SAO and no one to truly rely on in hard times.

» Alice spent much of her life with her mother's friends at restaurants, bars, and other food industry places, so she never really had any friends her own age or really cared to make any. Now that she's older, she does have a few people she likes to be hang out with, but most, if not all, are involved in her line of work. She isn't sure if they really count as friends or not.
