Aru is an orphan boy whose parents had died victims of suicide bombing while they were gone on a business trip to some weird place out of Japan. This was when he was twelve years old, and sadly nobody had been there to take care of him. His only option was the orphanage. He had been moved from home to home due to his smartass mouth and rebellious attitude, and had eventually wound up in the orphanage permanently to stay there till he had grown up and graduated from High School. A pretty sad life one would say? Aru wasn't very emotional really, and he is the rather cold hearted one. âWhy must I show sympathy when I do not feel any pity towards their deaths? Everyone will go back to the earth in the end. How foolish.âž These were the words quoted from the twelve year old Aru Natsuda. Other than being a smart-aleck he had other things to do to pass time by. The boy loved to play detective with his buddy Yoshida who had been a fellow delinquent like him. They would go crazy over murder cases and attempt to investigate it all- only to get caught red handed by policemen. Well... in general they were creepy horror loving fanatics who had no better way to spend their extra time. Aru had also loved video games, especially ones like Assassins Creed or Halo. All the gore or mind messing games he had enjoyed the most. But oh boy was he pissed when the girls took over and played Disney Princess with their magical nunchucks. If only he could scare them off or something. But sadly it didn't work on optimistic moe brats like them.

Aru had been surfing the web one day and his eyes widened like saucers once he heard of the latest technology known as "Sword Art Online". Oh yes that expensive game had been quite the hit. This was a VRMMORPG, one of a kind if you might ask. It was every gamers dream. Instead of controlling those remotes and arrow keys, you had a chance to walk inside a virtual world, almost as real as reality. The main goal: Beat the game. He had always imagined himself slaying trolls and all those good things. But if only he could get that software in his hands, it would be a dream come true. And after beta had ended, Aru was surprised to see a package on the doorstep. Greedily he looked at the label and smirked before dragging it into his room, shooing away the others who had shared the room with him. Quickly the teen set up everything he had needed and done a few calibration tests. And after he had done everything... he would say these words: âLink Start!âž and now he entered into this new word- with the new alias name of <>. Poor boy ran into a death trap. THE END. No... not really.

ã€Appearance】

Yukio stands 5 "8' tall and has snow white spiky hair that is always messed up like he had just came out from a tornado or something. No, he DOES NOT like haircuts... but the old woman always cut his hair occasionally. His eyes are a crimson red color, and are filled with a "Why are you looking at me" aura. His longcoat is black in color, and has red outlines. His short sleeved shirt and pants are the very same pitch dark color, his shirt having a red dragon print on it. Yukio has dark red fingerless gloves and black combat boots. Under his short sleeved shirt is a long sleeved red one. Equipped in his hand is a steel curved blade, but he plans to get a katana sometime in the future. Lastly, he has an enchanted amulet which holds the essence of a dragon of some sort. Unlike his usual grandpa clothing, this is actually something cool he wore for the first time in his life. Yukio's voice is normally smooth and playful... kind of like... he's a villain. But he's really just a doofus.

ã€Personality】

Boy oh boy Yukio is about one of the rudest men you will ever meet in your entire lifetime. He actually finds amusement in irritating people, and can even get a few laughs out of it as well. Basically he has an immature personality, and will probably never grow out of it. He also has a quiet side to him, and will observe things like a hawk, treating everything around him like it's something suspicious. This is primarily because of his dream of becoming a detective and all that fancy stuff. When Yukio talks, he will try to add at least some humor into either his accent or words. Because that's just him. When angered however, he will lash out and get snappy, but he RARELY loses his cool, and is a take it easy dude with his outer appearance.

» Virtues:

Alert

Yukio could be lounging in, resting, conversing casually, and writing... but his eyes are always on the outlook for anything new, interesting, or dangerous. Detective eye! He always can see things in a different way than most others can, and once danger strikes, he usually is ready or saw it coming a long time ago. His reaction time to situations is swift, and this is great for getting out of sticky situations. And for some reason, he had always been that way.

Persistent

Once he has his mind set on accomplishing a goal of any sort, he just literally programmed his mind to get it done. No, he doesn't stop at anything either. Yukio is the type of boy who loves to take ridiculous risks, and will never give in to defeat. He wont say "I cant." He'll say "I can!" And this is his simple secret to success and accomplishing goals. But seriously, he gets into all kinds of crap like this. At least it's positive!

Witty

You could say he's a lively person in general! He's not boring like some people tend to be... not like the "oh sure." "oh." people. He can't help but slip in a few puns and all that, but of course ends up facepalming at how corny his comebacks and pickup lines tend to be. He also does know when to mess around and be serious due to his keen observation. He often tends to use his humor against opponents in combat, often enjoying how angrier they get. That is his perfect solution for picking up game.

Unusually Calm

Surprisingly, he can remain calm in very dangerous situations. Yukio won't panic, and will reply with a simple "Okay." He won't stress out and panic, and handles the situation very smoothly. Even if he's about to die, he'll laugh it off as if he doesn't care, and not a hint of fear would show on his face. He has many ways of hiding fear and can make it work.

» Flaws:

Arrogant

Yukio's biggest pet peeve is when people order him around or tell him what to do. If he does not like certain orders, he will refuse to abide by them and becomes a stuck up brat. He likes to do things in his own free will and especially get grumpy. This is an immature trait in him sadly, and it's hard to make a person like him obey or listen to someone's opinions without picking about it. Basically he's your reject dude.

Erratic

Yukio's actions are absolutely random and outrageous. He could be resting up casually and enjoying the nice shade from a tree, but can be slashing away at a monster in less than a split second. He sometimes gets into sticky situations that can put him near death, but then again he doesn't panic like most people would do. For all you know he could say be right back and warp to floor two in a jiffy.

Rude

Someone like him has a very large mouth. When confronted to or even conversing with humans. he doesn't really spread the love or show the kindness virtue that easily. Sadly Yukio doesn't know that some things that can slip out of his mouth are rude and offensive towards another. Being treated roughly, he grew up with a mentality of that sort, and expects others to be used to such mannerisms and language.

Split

Yukio has a nature of confusing others by juggling back and forth between hot and cold personalities without awareness about it. He'll be rude as heck, but suddenly suspiciously comical, making others question what his true personality is. Sometimes they can't grasp ahold of who he really is due to his attitude changing over the course of minutes on. This often makes him appear to be a hypocrite, but its' really part of who Yukio is.
