Shade slowly lifted himself up, clutching his wounds from before. "Y-You... Worthless... Good for nothing... Cur..." He said through clenched teeth, breaking off at amazing speed and hacking Osiris with an upper slash. The phantom shrieked and then flew back into the water, leaving Shade for a brief moment. "Damn it... I need a different approach..."

Shade saw Osiris leap out of the water. But this time, he was counting on it. Shade slid beneath the lunging priest and he slashed it upwards, carving through it's spectral body all the way. The ghost wailed and went back into the water as Shade stood back up, preparing for the next time the ghost came out.

The sound of water movement made Shade's ears perk up, and he spun around and launched a hand out, grabbing the phantom priest by the throat. He then rapidly began driving his sword in and out of it's stomach, stifling it's wails as he gripped it's neck harder and harder, before he threw it back into the water.

As Osiris tried to come out again, Shade sidetepped and brought his sword down on his side with such force, the priest was sent slamming onto the floor. Shade slashed it again, and then hit it across the head with the flat side of his blade. Before he could perform another strike, it wormed it's way back to the water.

In a final attempt, Shade was grabbed by the ankles as Osiris tried to pull him under. Shade acted quickly and swung his sword, cleanly hacking off both the ghost's hands. Osiris floated up from the water and shrieked, and at the moment, Shade swung his sword at it's neck and the screaming stopped.

As the phantom burst into crystals, the purple flame rocketed down the hallway as the walk between the platform and door was restored. Shad put away his sword and looked at the ashes. "Hmph. Pathetic. Your weakness disgusts me." He said, turning around and walking down the bridge, getting ready to head back towards the main hallway. Shade was now only half-way done.

All Shade had to do was back track what he had done before. Through the darkness, down the wet ally, and then there was something he had forgotten. The pit. And Burner couldn't help, as Shade had told him to go home. "Damn it... How to cross..." Shade said, looking around the hall for anything that could be used to get across the gap that presented itself in his way.
