» About:Kirigaya Kazuto was adopted by his aunt and uncle a year after his birth when his biological parents died in an accident. Raised by his foster parents as a son, he originally trained with his cousin in the neighborhood kendo dojo under their grandfather's tutelage. Due to his aunt's influence as an editor for a computer systems magazine, Kazuto fell in love with computers and dropped kendo after two years.

Kirito is someone who is not good with words, as said by Klein, and can be quite direct. This is due to him not having many friends and closing others off because of his love for computers. As such, he can come off as a rude person to others. Sometimes, he actually seems to enjoy angering and teasing people as well. Also, from time to time, Kirito can be quite overconfident thinking he can do things others can not.

» Virtues:

Kawaii. Kirito is very, very, very attractive. This makes this anti-social, moody, whiny teenager more approachable in the eyes of his peers.

Cunning. Kirito is clever, and is able to quickly wrap up a situation and find a way to deal with it. He's good with numbers, and is able to make quick decisions in seconds.

Tactical. Kirito knows the system like the back of his hand. He knows almost everything about the game and uses it to his fullest extent, making him very knowledgeable about Aincrad.

» Flaws:

Whiny. Kirito is extremely oblivious to the needs of others, and makes his problems their own. He complains about his own history and never lends and ear to the other person.

Hard to Please. Kirito is almost never satisfied with anything. The world just isn't enough for him, and he rarely shows and human emotion when someone does something for him. He rarely even uses a "Thanks" or "Good Job".

Blunt. Kirito can hardly see the feelings of others, and just spouts out whatever is on the top of his head. For better or worse, this usually results in hurting the feelings of others, and Kirito doesn't seem to care about them in the end.
