Nisahime 0 Posted 4 hours ago #1 Share Posted 4 hours ago Back in and out, the girl was already bored out of her damn mind given this was round three. Each and every time the NPC just had to go into excruciatingly painful detail about the simplest of tasks. As if she hadn't done this countless times before, what was next? Telling her how to tie her shoes? How about breathing? Was that too hard to grasp? Hell it took longer for her to shut them up then it took to finish the tasks they were trying to give her. Dumb as hell. The dumbass flavor of the hour: Richard. Even the given names were uninspired. The girl begins to slip on a rather specific pair of gloves, coated in a special oil to prevent things from sticking to her fingers. A tiny knife about the size of a butter knife removed, she'd seek out the signature 'BAAH' of farm animals just outside the wall. "Come're you little bastard. Move and I'll punt you off this floating castle." She spat causing the thing to freeze. Nisahime 0 Posted 3 hours ago Author #2 Share Posted 3 hours ago Raking the blade against the fluffy white animal, cutting clumps of wool off in thicker bunches that fall to the floor. The thing would inevitably end up looking almost baby smooth, like a naked mole rat but much bigger. "Dang you all got a lot more stingy, or you're getting too many hair cuts." The woman quipped as she clapped an open palm against the things shiny butt, causing it to flee after a yelp. "Next!" She'd scream out, seeing another sheep start beelining to outrun her. "Oh no you don't." The woman remarks as she grabs its stubby little tail and starts to painstakingly carve off wool exposing its concealed ham. The mount of fluffy white wool starts to grow in size, as the woman easily starts shaving it off with an experts touch like she's done this way too often. All while doing this one handed, because the fucker kept trying to move. Quest Objective | Gathering Materials 248108 | LD: 16+21 = 37, +1 Material {Success 2/5}
Nisahime 0 Posted 3 hours ago Author #3 Share Posted 3 hours ago Jumping on top of its back, she'd wrangle the thing to the floor as she'd sweep its front legs. "Hold still, unless your aiming to lose an ear. Ya'll act like your dying." Nisahime barks out using her legs to keep it spread eagle, simply sliding that knife across its skin like a hot blade through butter. Her lump of wool quite a boisterous pile of white cotton candy, the woman would release the thing and allow it to run screaming in its nude horror. Tossing out a blue colored cloth bag with two draw strings, she'd start to grab handfuls and shove it into the bag. The thing puffs up something fierce, given it was basically transitioned straight into a pillow, but it would appear she still had plenty of space left to fill up. Maybe two more would do the trick, she needed enough if she ever hoped to spin out some fabric. 248109 | LD: 4 + 21 = 25, +1 Material {Success 3/5}
Nisahime 0 Posted 3 hours ago Author #4 Share Posted 3 hours ago Taking the knife and pushing it into her teeth, she'd clamp down threatening to carve her cheek open. "Get over here. If I have to chase you, you are going to end up in a frying pan." She grumbles in slightly garbled speech pointing at the space in front of her. The sheep she was glaring at lowers its head, as if it understood that she meant business. Walking over slowly, it sits like a dog and just accepts its fate. This one nice and white, but clearly it had a love for rolling around in the grass. The blades of the stuff stuck all up in its fuzz clearly drew attention to it. "Good." The woman remarks pulling the knife back out of her mouth, stretching her jaw and counting the blessings given she was about to beat feet and tackle the bastard. Somewhere deep down, a primal fear caused the sheep to obey. 248111 | LD: 13 + 21 = 34, +1 Material {Success 4/5}
Nisahime 0 Posted 3 hours ago Author #5 Share Posted 3 hours ago Grabbing the remaining clumps of wool and casting it into the drawstring bag it was more then enough to get started. The woman prances back into town, after mounting her metallic horse that had somehow ended up on this floor. Dismounting and tying it to a well like a hitching post, she'd loosen the slack on the strings and pull the top open. The wool billows out a bit like a frothing mug, and she takes a honest helping to a spinning wheel that a player had never even tried to use before now. The npc look to her in almost a dumbstruck confusion, as the girl whistles and a lime green flicker of light begins to permeate the ground beneath her feet. Like a veteran, she'd spin the wool out into strings, tightly winding them around small rods. Half the city was looking at her like morons, utterly perplexed by how different it would appear to the norm. "What?" she'd remark, picking up the 5 spools of linen string. They turn and carry on. 248116 | LD: 10 + 21 = 31, +1 Material {Success 5/5}
Nisahime 0 Posted 2 hours ago Author #6 Share Posted 2 hours ago Walking back into the store, pointing straight at the dumb NPC that insisted on hearing himself talk. "Shut up, don't care." The woman barks out causing the mans raised finger to curl up like a banana. She'd start to glance at his equipment and it was abysmal to say the least. Talk about running on fumes, there was no metallic thread, no decent sheers and the loom was cobbled out of wood and normal ass string. "Great, useless. Just gotta...." The little flicker of green sparks like fireflies still stuck to her avatar, as Nisa would gingerly begin to run the string back and forth through the loom, pushing the string tight into fabric. In mere minutes she cuts it down easily into a bolt of linen, and she shoves a needle in her mouth. An utterly mundane piece of garbage but it would have to suffice.
