Mental Aspects

» History:

Even at young age, Colin showed intellect similiar towards kids 2 or 3 years older than him. When he started school, he easily excelled and was always the top student in his classes. This continued onto highschool, but throughout his elementary and seconday classes, he became bored which was a by-product of easily acing whatever came his way. He usually finished his homework in 1/4 the time it took a regular student. In what he calls a "happy" accident, his brother invited him, although his parents reluctantly agreed as they looked down on the older brother, to a event where said brother would play these fantasy games in a competition. When he asked his parents to be able play just to keep the boredem away, they allowed him. Although he didn't play for many hours, he quickly rose up through the ranks, but not to the level of the self-named "pro" gamers. When he ended up in SAO, confused at what occured he walked for a few days. Then he realized, instead of having to do trivial objectives, he has to fight to survive. Something challenging. Something new.

» Virtues:

Intelligence: A very intelligent boy, but this intelligence doesn't just apply to knowing a lot of things. He's excellent with creating strategy, observing patterns which he uses to manipulate others and in general very logical.

Kind: He may seem like a selfish person, but in reality he does cares about others. Although, he doesn't show this much, he tries to protect the innocent and guide them the same way he went. He can see however, when someone is just lazy, uncaring, or being manipulative and will cease interacting with them at once.

Humble: Unlike most people, when he does something well or is known for doing something well, he just brushes it aside. If it comes naturally, what's there to be proud of? Why annoy others with unimportant triumphs?

Tolerant: He is very tolerant of most types of behavior, as long as it doesn't get repetitive and annoying. Where others would be annoyed, or irritated, he would just let out a small sigh to let said person know how he feels. Rarely does he become annoyed to the point of anger. Don't try it though. It's not pretty.

» Flaws:

Boredom: A driving force behind everything he does is from boredom and it could be said that his life revolves around it. Listening to people speak, eating, walking, sitting, and the list goes on and on. This, affects how much other like him for he seems uninterested in other's plight, but in fact he does show empathy, but just keeps it to himself.

Impatient: He does not like to stay in one place for long and likes to keep moving. This annoys him easily and it leads to a decrease control of his temper. One things lead to another, and he becomes pretty hotheaded in these situations.

Cynical: Often he doubts the skills of other when his own is much superior in his eyes. Although he doesn't care that much, he usually believes that most things said are lies or promises that can't be kept. Hearing the words "Everything will be okay" usually sparks the opposite reaction, which is justified for how often the expression is used as a lie.

Sarcastic: A subtle form of mockery, and very good one at that. Make a stupid joke, or say something obvious and he is the first person to make fun of you for it. Goes hand in hand with his boredom and cynicism which just makes him generally disliked.

Story Thus Far

Met a cold, anti-social teenager who decided to try use her quote on quote "beauty" to try to manipulate me. It didn't end well for her. Then some weird boy just came barreling down with his dog knocking down said girl on top of me. We both yelled at him and then he ran of, but the girl decided to steal the dog. That's the end of it.
