[SP-F1] First steps.

Lukas stepped out of the gates of Starting City, ready to makes his first kill.

 

Let's see what we've got here...

 

After looking around, he spotted a lone boar. Once he started focusing on it the boar's stats popped up:

HP: 3/3

 

Lukas pulled out his wakizashi, testing its weight. Satisfied, he holds the sword in an underhand grip and tries to swing at the boar.

• Rolled a 4 on the d10 (battle) dice.

He misses completely, but the boar notices.

The [Wild Boar] charges at Lukas with a savage squeal.

• Rolled a 6 on the d10 (battle) dice.

The boar connects with Lukas, sending him falling backwards.

Alright, let's try this again...

Lukas got up and switched his grip to the normal one-handed overhand grip. He charges at the boar, aiming for its head.

• Rolled a 10 on the d10 (battle) dice.

The sword cuts a deep gash on the boar's head.

Alright! I guess I wasted that first strike, but this one looks like it did the job.

 

The boar recovers, and begins to charge again.

The boar charges at Lukas, but this time visibly tired.

• Rolled a 3 on the d10 (battle) dice.

The boar trips over its own feet, sent sprawling on the grassy field.

 

Well that... happened. Lukas looked with an amused grin on his face.

Lukas raised his sword above his head, gripping it with both hands.

 

Hyah!

The sword cut through the boar, shattering it to polygons.
