I assume there would be ancient kind of folk music and the like, as in lutes, flutes, fiddles, and other musical instruments back around the time of 1000 A.D. Or maybe seeing as Nerve Gear is an immersive tool, maybe there would be ambience except for being around musicians (or possibly city and dungeon/boss BGM).
