(SP- F2) Wings of Piano

Arekkusu never really figured about the comparisons between Players and Monsters. Can't they do just about the same thing? Like for example, if Arekkusu can wield a sword, can a Skeleton do the same thing? If the thread between players and monsters are like that, then what else can monsters use?

 

Arekkusu held his Violin this time, his stroll was to just walk as he played. He remembered dueting with his old Orchestra stand partner a song. He forgot her name though, which Arekkusu wasn't too surprised about. They actually had an ensemble with a Pianist as well playing Wings of Piano by V.K. Arekkusu played his part as a second Violinist, which sadly didn't sound too complete without the other two.

"There really aren't too many people to have in this world play alongside you." Arekkusu said out loud. "Man, back in the real world, there were many people who I could easily access when I wanted to play songs. Now in here... there really aren't too many of those anymore."

 

Arekkusu still slid down the Violin as he continued playing Wings of Piano. He then reached the top of an incline, where many people seemed to have gathered from below. Arekkusu stared at them, they seemed so happy to know each other, but Arekkusu had none of his real life friends with him... if they were friends with him. Building alliances and friendships are two different concepts and Arekkusu knew it. He wasn't said about the people here, it's just he has a passion for music and he doesn't feel fulfilled with the little music he can cast. But what can Arekkusu do about it?

 

Arekkusu looked below at the group, who seemed to be dancing as one played a flute-like object. Possibly players, Arekkusu wanted to see who they were.

Arekkusu walked down the hill to see the group of people up close. He held his Violin still, but didn't actually play it. He didn't want to disturb the flow among the party below. The closer he got, the more he realized the people weren't players, they were NPCs. That really disappointed Arekkusu, he was so close to meeting an ensemble partner and this is where it lead him. But then he did see a familiar NPC he talked to before

 

"Is that.... Aurora?"  Arekkusu asked out loud.

Arekkusu smiled at the sight of the girl. It was most certainly Aurora. Arekkusu ran a lot faster to her and yelled out her name, triggering the senses of the other NPCs.

 

"Aurora!" Arekkusu exclaimed before he then saw a spear thrown. "Wait! I know her! Don't attack me!"

Arekkusu stepped to the side of some of the spears being hurled at him. If he could get close enough, he could get close enough to call Aurora out and have her stop all the chaos. He just shouldn't start threatening though, that would kill the deal and then Arekkusu would actually have to start fighting.

Arekkusu took a hit to the arm, which really irritated him, but it didn't make him unsheathe his sword. He was almost there, the spears made it harder as he got closer, but her was still almost there. How many did they have?

"Hold your fire Damn it!" Arekkusu exclaimed. "Aurora!"

 

Aurora then looked my way, then her eyes became wide. She quickly yelled at the woman next to her, who then yelled at all the spear throwers in the group. The spears were still at hand, but then Arekkusu held up his blade to make sure they don't continue. Any further assault is considered an attack, in which Arekkusu will retaliate. Aurora then slowly walked up to Arekkusu, both of them stood and stared.

"Is it seriously... you?" Aurora asked. "I didn't get your name last time, may I please have have it?"

 

Arekkusu patted her on the head. "It's not like you gave me the chance to give it to you before." Arekkusu said playfully. "My name is Arekkusu, I am the one who gave you an apple, which really isn't that much a price to pay to help."

"We had someone sick Arekkusu." Aurora explained. "All we had was some soup of water and salt with a few carrots, my older brother was dying. You gave me one of the ingredients for his life, and for that I am forever grateful."

 

She then embraced Arekkusu by jumping up to his shoulders and hugging him, causing him to feel a lot better about the child. It was bad enough for Arekkusu to see someone he loved die at the age of 10, this girl was about 7. Even if she was an NPC, he couldn't bare to imagine what she would feel.

"You smell like dirt by the way Arekkusu." Aurora commented. "Do you need to wash off? We have plenty of water left."

 

Arekkusu understood that the girl meant an actual shower, but Arekkusu still didn't feel comfortable with the idea. So instead, he decided to change the subject so he wouldn't feel so uncomfortable.

 

"Hey Aurora." Arekkusu started. He modified his comment to make them feel a little bit worse about what they tried to do to one of Auroras friends. "Tell me, who are these kind people who attempted to kill me with these spears?"

Aurora turned her head back to the group, who stepped back when she did so. She seemed a bit annoyed with them, but for a girl to have so much control over a group is amazing.

 

"The idiot with the Brown hair other than you..." Aurora started. "His name is Niko, The Woman with the blonde hair and brown eyes is Felicia, The man with blue hair is Relic, The woman with blonde hair and green eyes is Cecil, and the teenager with Lion like spiky hair is my Brother Splash."

 

Splash? Heh, splash, What kind of retarded name was that? But Arekkusu wasn't going to say that out loud.
