[SP-F1] A newbie's first hunt

Talismhyn was wandering around on Floor 1. He was, after all, a level 1 player with no EXP. He finds an NPC who gives him a simple quest: "Kill a boar." Tal accepts, needing all the EXP he can get. A few minutes later after exiting the city, he spots a boar. Grabbing his One-Handed Curved Sword and bringing it out, he starts towards it.

Tal stares at the boar. Enraged, thinking that this random stranger is a challenger (which he is), attacks Tal. The boar misses.

"Now, it's my turn!" Tal says. He grabs his One-Handed Curved Sword, and attacks. It's a miss. The two stare at each other, both wanting to defeat their enemy.

The boar attacks again, and misses again! The boar thinks to himself: "Wow, my luck sucks." Feeling a bit of confidence because the boar has missed twice, Tal attacks again, and hits the boar! The boar goes back some in surprise, and thinks: "My luck really does suck!"

The boar, furious, attacks Tal. Tal loses 2 HP! The boar thinks: "Well done, me!" and gives himself a mental pat-on-the-back.

Tal, now starting to get frightened because he might die ohmygod ohmygod ohmygod! attempts to attack the boar. He misses, and is now more scared than ever.

The boar looks at Tal with a look that says, "Whatcha gonna do about it, punk?"

The boar attacks Tal, feeling quite lucky. The boar, unfortuanely for himself [and fortunately for Tal!] The boar jumps back, not liking his odds anymore.

Tal, scared as a person being attacked quite ruthlessly, attacks the boar. It's a critical hit! The boar loses 2 HP.

The boar attacks, still not quite liking his odds. It's a miss! He sighs. Tal just attacks, the only thing on his mind is killing this dang boar. Tal misses as well, but he now gets his scaredness back.

The boar attacks, getting tired of just attacking and this player just not dying. It's another miss! "Dang it!" the boar thinks.

Tal, not-quite-sure of himself, attacks. It's a critical hit! He watches, amazed, as the boar's HP drops to 0.  The boar explodes into shards of light. Tal congratulates himself, and returns to the NPC.
