SAO was his first VRMMORPG, and this was his first quest, so he should have been worried. But he wasn't. He was exicited, but he wasn't worried at all. He felt a strange type of confindence. Yes, it was simple quest, maybe that was a part of it. But he felt like no matter how experienced other player were, with hard work he can get on their level. He felt strenght. He wanted to get stronger to clear the game, not only to get back to the real world and see his loved ones, but also to save others, to help the community. He was standing in front of the gate - the gate that symbolized safety to him. He was finally ready to abandon this safety. The gates openened. He made the first step, then the next one, and then the next one. He was finally out of the city. He looked back quickly, then turned around and started following the road to the forest where the quest he accepted led him. He was looking at the boars next to the road he previously praticed on, while walking. The sun was already going down as we walked towards the forest. Quote Report Link to post Share on other sites

The forest was suprisingly deep, the trees in it had quite dark leaves, and were pretty huge. He looked back once more. He couldn't see that city anymore, only the big, brown wooden gates. He took a deep breath and started heading towards the forest again, but instead of walking, he started running towards the forest. It was already night, and was dark outside, he taught about turning back and that it may be a bad idea to do the quest in the dark, but quickly erased these taughts from his mind. He decided that there's no more running away from this world, so there's no more running away from it. He started running again. He taught to himself that if he finishes the quest in time he'll be in the city before dawn. He got closer and closer to the forest little by little and ran faster the closer he got to it. He was only looking at his destination, so he didn't pay attention to his surronding, and while he was running, a boar wanted to get from one side of the field to the other, crossing the road, and he didn't noticed the boar at all, and was stillr running as fast as he could. And then... He ran into the boar at full speed, triggering combat. "Oh god, how idiotic I can be?!" He was very pissed off at himself. He drew his sword out and got ready for combat. When he landed he quickly jumped back, and pointed his sword at the board, and took two steps back. He was looking at the boar trying to guess it's next move. He grabbed his sword tightly and waited for the boar to attack, took a deep breath, and hoped for the best. He stepped on forward, and looked the boar in his eyes, it was kind of like saying "i'm not afraid of you" to him. He started furiously rushing at him, with all his might, tired to jump into Aedan, but failed, jumped too far, not hitting Aedan. The boar tripped when it landed, but quickly tried to stand up because Aedan was ready to attack him, and there was a chance that it's going to be his last move, and the battle's going to end with the mob dying. Aedan was more confident than ever and believed that he already won the battle. Aedan grabbed his sword and was getting ready to make his next move. Aedan 0 Posted December 26, 2014 Author #5 Report Share Posted December 26, 2014 Aedan jumped up and tried to slash the boars face one more time, but failed, and enden up tripping and he was lying in the dirt for few seconds as his ego destroyed itself. He tried to stand up, but ended up tripping again, and from being overconfident he became so frustrated he almost broke the handle of his sword. He got up and got ready because the boar was ready to attack, and didn't look very friendly. He realized that he has to concentrate and not let his ego make him lose the fight. Aedan dropped his sword and landed on the ground, wounded. At that point, he lost it. He picked up his sword from the ground, grabbed it tightly with both of his hands, and pointed it in the direction of the boar. He was felt like some trash thrown at the ground. He had enough, he felt like he's more than this. He can't let a boar defeat him, he has goals to achive, dreams that he has to make come true. He was sure that this will be the final round, and that no matter what he will win. He boar kicked up some ground again, like if he would say "come at me if you dare". Aedan 0 Posted December 27, 2014 Author #7 Report Share Posted December 27, 2014 Aedan ran at boar, lifted his sword up the fastest he could, and by the time he got there, his sword was already going down. The sword's blade sliced the boars head in too instantly. Aedan lifted the sword back and put it in it's shealth as the mob slowly dissappeared. He won. He was ready to continue his journey to the forest to complete the quest, but before that he took a nap. Even if it was just a boar, he was still tired from the fight. After laying in the shadow of a nearby tree for 20 minutes, he woke up started walking towards the forest. Aedan 0 Posted December 27, 2014 Author #8 Report Share Posted December 27, 2014 He finally arrived at the forest. He was amazed by it's beauty. It was wild, yet elegant in a weird way. He decided to go deeper into the forest to look for the targeted mob. He watched the moonlight sneak into the forest through the little holes between the many leaves if the trees while he was walking deeper and deeper into the forest. He heard noises in the bushes so he went to check out what it was, hoping that it may be the mob he was searching for. Turns out it was just squirrel, but that wasn't the problem. The problem was that while he was searching for the source of the noises he got lost in the forest and had no idea which direction he came from. "I'm really out of luck today, am I?" Aedan climed up on a tree and layed down on one of it's stronger branches, hoping that he won't fall down. He decided that he will contine the quest next in the morning, and fell asleep on the tree. Aedan 0 Posted December 28, 2014 Author #9 Report Share Posted December 28, 2014 Aedan woke up up early in the morning. He climbed down the tree and yawned. He was still lost, but finding out where he is wasn't his main objective at the time. He wanted to finish the quest. So he started searching for the rare mob. He decided to cut a straight line on every tree he passed, so he could return to the tree he slept on. He was walking for atleast half an hour now, but there were still no trace of the mob, but he found a way out of the forest. He went out, he was back in the fields. It didn't take him too long to realize, that altought it was similar to the fields he came from, it was at the other side of the forest. Quote Report Link to post Share on other sites

He started searching for boars nearby, so he can practice on them. He didn't want to wander tok far away from the forest, so he can go back after his training. And there was his target. He was ready to strike, but the boar noticed it and tried to jump away, but Aedan was able to change the direction of the sword in time and landed a successful hit on the back of the boar. It was heavily injured but it's fighting spirit was just as strong as before, if not stronger. The boar rushed towards Aedan, attempting to tackle him. When it started running towards Aedan, he junped up and slightly forward. The boar almost reached him, but he landed on the mob's back, and jumped forward, while spinning in the air and then landing on his feet. Then he humped up and got behind the mob, trying to redo his former move, he lifted his sword in the air towards the sky just like the last time, and got waited for the boar to jump away. Aedan 0 Posted January 5, 2015 Author #14 Report Share Posted January 5, 2015 The mob was running at Aedan who just got up fron the ground after he humped from the mobs previous counterattack. He couldn't jump from it because it was too fast, so he decided that he has to get on the ground and slide between the boars legs to the other sude of the plains. He managed to do it, and the boar was still running, so it was his chance to finishvthe fight before the mob realized that he was gone. It was showing ir's back to Aedan. Aedan quickly reached tge boar stepped onnits back and got ready to pierce it's hrlead from above with his swords purple blade, but the boar quickly started shaking itself, and Aedan fallen onto the ground.
