[SP-F1] <<Worn Out Welcome>>

Recommended Posts

It was a very cool, and humid morning on Floor 1. Light fog had rolled up in the distance, and the skies were a dull grey color for as far as the eye could see. Most people would just awaken from their slumber at this time of day, but Warnik had been up for a couple hours. With his arms crossed, he leaned against a wall near the gates of Starting City by himself. Looking out into the distance, he wondered if he should stop lingering around this area, and attempt to get stronger.  "I can't just sit here and rot away can I?" he thought to himself as he looked out onto the grassy fields just outside.

"Yeah, come on. You've got this." he said out loud to reassure himself. Warnik was certain that going out alone wouldn't be a problem. He had risen a few levels in the time he's been trapped here. Though, the current state of his equipment left much to be desired. He opened his menu and tapped a few buttons to bring about his inventory. His confidence was shot down almost immediately when he remembered the contents; His iron mace, bottles of water, and some bread that he hasn't touched in some time. "Shoot..." He frowned. He felt even worse when he realized that he didn't have a speck of col, either. Warnik closed his menu and decided to take a look at the various shops littered around town to get an idea of how much he would need to purchase decent equipment.

The marketplace was pretty quiet as he walked through the streets, likely because it was so early in the morning. As a result most player owned shops were closed, though Warnik would never go into one regardless. He didn't like social interaction, so he opted to find an npc owned shop. He eventually found one that appeared to be an old smithy, and was open, judging from the lights that flickered within the old building. He was hesitant at first, since there could've been players in there, but nevertheless he turned the knob of the door and entered. He was greeted by the sight of an elderly man pounding heated metal with a hammer which sent sparks flying off in random directions.
