PP F1 What Are Bonds? (Kotori and Klick)

Recommended Posts

Klick was sitting inside his shop in Starter City, the new HQ for Blue Core. He was going over some preparations for a party of the charting of the guild. He wrote out a check list which included, polishing tables, sweeping and mopping the floor, buying decorations, making more food. He snickered at that one, as today he ranked up so he could make one more item. He also had to redesign his shop to become a Real head quarters for as of right now it just looked like a coffee and cake shop. So many things to do and so little time, and he would also need to contact the other members for a party is no fun without others. "Bonds Power Progression" these 3 traits where the foundation of what would be something new. Klick took one more deep breath and then opened the door of his shop so that fresh virtual air could cycle in and to further make vistors feel welome.

Kotori had been searching for a pastries shop to satisfy her craving of a sugary snack. She had heard of a new shop opening up and had wanted to see if it was the real thing or just a myth to mess with gullible players. Hopefully this wasn't the case, because if it was, some monster was going to taste the cold hard wrath that was her dagger. After walking for quite some time, Kotori noticed a shop open up that wasn't there before. A boy with brownish hair opened the doors in a dramatic fashion, as if it was the grand opening of the building. She turned towards the player and walked forward. "Excuse me, I know that you don't know me, but is this Blue's Snacks and Cake?" Kotori asked in the sweetest voice she could, for the reason of not appearing rude or cold even though that was what she was in the inside.

Klick turned around to see another player entered his shop. He was so happy as this could be his first customer. He could make his first sell. This was going tone the best day of his life. Now all he had to do was perfect his Japanese. He heard her question. She asked confirmation about this shop. Klick quickly took a huge bow and greeted her, "Welcome... This is Blues Snacks and Cake... how... may I serve... you."

Klick managed to say the full sentence correctly despite the short pauses in-between. Now all he hoped for was that the girl would not spout out a essay of request

"Good, so I'm not lost." Kotori mumbled as she looked around the pastries shop. The shop itself actually looked a bit cute, seeing as it was a bit small with wood covering almost everything, save the door. She bit her lip when she gazed at the menu. She need to check just exactly how much Col she had, no need in buying things she couldn't get. Kotori swiped her finger upwards, opening the menu before going to the inventory. She looked down and the Col Count appeared. It said 0. "What?! That's impossible!" She muttered as she looked at the number. Then it hit her. " I spent the 200 col you get from joining on a inn so that I could sleep comfortably." Kotori's face began to blush, she had entered a shop with no money to spend. Smiling awkwardly, she turned to the boy. "Uh... at the m-moment, I don't seem to have any col to s-spend.. Um, I guess that m-means I won't be buying anything." She stammered while trying to speak calmly to avoid embarrassment.

Klick slumpped dropping his head at the the lost of business yet again. The woman had no money... and thus could not by anything. Klick did not want to just turn her away. Even though she could not buy anything, it was nice to at lease have someone in his shop. Pulled out a chair and quickly wiped down the table. "Can I... offer... a glass of water." The woman did not look unhappy, but for some reason Klick felt like she was only puting up a front. She was not very high level and did not seem to have much to her name. He hoped that she would stay alittle so that he could better determine if he was right or not. For if she was not happy, she might have thoughts of quiting or not pushing forward. That was something he as a member and leader of Blue Core would not allow.

"Uh.. sure." Kotori answered, a bit confused that the boy would offer her some water. She had thought the player would make some kind of deal with her, like an order she would only have to pay once it was done, at an increased price of course, although that would be something she would do if she had her own shop. Quietly, Kotori sat down onto on of the chairs and looked outside to check the time. It was still in the early morning, so barely any time had passed. This wasn't looking out to be a good day it seemed, and the weather seemed to mock her. Kotori gritted her teeth as she frowned at the possibility of being mocked by something so stupid.

Klick disappeared for a minute before coming back out with two glasses of water. He gently placed one infront of her and pulled up another chair to sit across from her. Klick then placed his tray with his glass infront of him, and took a sip. His suspicion were right. She had already lost her smile. He assume it was because she did not have any money but there had to be an underlining problem somewhere. Still he had to handle this issue one step at a time. "Water is... always free," He joke hoping she would smile. "They call me Klick... What's yours?" He ask the lady before smiling. Hopefully she would perk up and say something about her self. Klick always felt alittle happy when he got to share his name, maybe she was the same way.

"I kinda picked up on that.." Kotori muttered, not getting that the boy had told a joke. It was a bit awkward in the shop, and the fact that the owner was smiling at her didn't help. Klick, as the man introduced himself, was his name. "Kotori Mutsuki, although you can just call me Kotori. Or Mutsuki. I much prefer the former." she answered, giving her name to Klick. Quickly, she took a gulp of water and then put the glass back down on the table. Kotori wanted to leave the shop, there wasn't much to do now that she found out about her lack of any money whatsoever.

The girl did not respond positively to Klicks comment. She still seemed to be upset about not being able to buy anything which was really getting to Klick. He really had a soft spot for helping others, espeically since he was solo for the longest. Thats why he created blue core. To build friendships and boost up the lowbies. At the same time, as a business owner, he cannot just be giving out free food. He debated on what he should do and reached a conclusion. He stood up and started cleaning his glass. "Hey i have a cake in the oven, but its not completely ready yet. I need a items to perfect it, whould you like to help me get it?" A quest could cause her to open up alittle more and maybe her moral will go up when she earns some money and a reward. "In return i will reward you with the cake once i finish it."
