During most of his pre teen years, he lived a pretty normal life. He pursued education in the hopes of becoming more intelligent than his father, who had been known as a child prodigy, but quickly came to realize that it was not possible unless he acquired more material that was not found in school. Unfortunately, around the time he turned eleven, his father introduced him to gaming. It was instant addiction, and he quickly forgot about being better than his father. Life continued like this for several more years when his father brought home a game and the tech required to play said game. His father explained that he had been working at the company that was the source of the game, which was called Sword Art Online. His father showed him how to set everything up, and congradulated him on his academic excellence. Andre proceeded to begin playing SAO, and was quickly trapped in the game. » Virtues: Cautious - Andre is hesitant to do anything that could put him in danger. He will think things out before he does them, so as to insure his safety. This trait sourced from other games he played, in which he quickly learned that running into dangerous situations can wind up leading to death. Compassion - Andre, upon entering SAO, quickly realized that everybody was struggling with the same thing, escaping the game. He helps others if he can, and is always trying to be aware of those in need. He is willing to make his life miserable if it is to help others. Passive - Andre is a very nonviolent person. He will avoid combat, and tends to be quite gentle. This is because he is afraid to harm or kill others, fearing the judgement that might fall upon him later in time if he does do something wrong. Although, as he mentioned in Helping Out he is willing to protect himself, but only if necessary. » Flaws: Timid - Andre is able to readily help others, that much is true, but is quite shy and quiet. He avoids introducing himself, and can sometimes be hard to understand because he is so quiet. This negatively affects his communication skills, and makes it hard for Andre to make longtime friends. In recent events, Andre has spoken to others without shying away, but only when they spoke to him first. Instead of avoiding talking at all, he now only refuses to initiate a conversation, but will talk to others if they talk to him first. He is still quiet when he speaks, but not so quiet that he cannot be understood. With those that he has befriended (or have befriended him), he still will not initiate contact, which could lead to him being unable to get assistance if/when he needs it. Vain - Andre is extremely sure that he is attractive. He believes that women (and possibly men) find him attractive, but he is too shy to talk to them, even if they approach him still refusing to initiate contact. He has always thought this, and always will think this, regardless of what he may hear others say about him. Clumsy - Andre is a freakish klutz, and will screw up most any task he is assigned. He is known to get in the way of others, even though he tries his best not to. This particular flaw has led to him getting into small fights with others, in which he allows himself to be pushed around and/or beat up, being too passive to fight back.
