Skylar 0 Posted May 26, 2015 #1 Share Posted May 26, 2015 Skylar sat in his shop on the third floor as usual. It was a pretty slow day and he just wanted to play his music. Rutta played around as usual, the crazy critter. The bell rang as a customer walked in. "Hello sir what can I do you for?" The customer gave Skylar a weird look before speaking up. "Are you strong sir? We need a strong player! We were farming <<Ice Elementals>> on the fourth floor when my group was attacked. We need help badly." It was Skylar's personal motto to always accept a challenge so he could not see as to why not. "Lead the way!"
Skylar 0 Posted May 27, 2015 Author #2 Share Posted May 27, 2015 The guest led Skylar deep into the frost mountains on floor four. Rutta was picked up and felt energized. This was the Leopard's home for the longest, most likely it was spawned somewhere around the very same mountain. It was freezing! The cold, bitter, deadly wind. Blasted away against the small cloak Skylar wore as if it was nothing, the complete opposite of his happy companion. The guide just walked and walked until they came to the entrance of the cave. Skylar 0 Posted May 27, 2015 Author #3 Share Posted May 27, 2015 *ROAR* Skylar looked inside the cave to see a very large block of ice moved. If this was the real world. I am sure that would be the reasoning the Titanic sank This had to have been the biggest piece of ice Skylar had ever seen. He moved his cursor over it and identified it as Avalanche. "Here goes nothing!" ID: 17449 BD: 6 Skylar ran in wishing he had the Charge skill. From this far he probably could have did more serious damage. The thing continued as if Skylar did not even hit it. Skylar 0 Posted May 27, 2015 Author #4 Share Posted May 27, 2015 ID: 17450 MD: 5 The thing continued to ignore Skylar. Only focusing on the poor player it continuously slaughtered. The very people he vowed to save died one after another. "Noooo! You stupid ice block fight me instead!" I wish I knew magic so he could hurl a fireball at it. That would get it's attention. I cannot have innocent people die Team Skylar: 40/40 Monster Avalanche: 44/
Skylar 0 Posted May 27, 2015 Author #5 Share Posted May 27, 2015 Skylar moved closer to the beast and grabbed a player to move out the way, saving him from a cold grave. "Everyone he shouted get out while I distract it!" ID: 17451 BD: 4 Skylar made an effort to grab the ice giant to get it's attention. The creature was so cold Skylar jumped back in fear of getting damaged. There was no way Skylar could actually grab and stop the creature. Skylar 0 Posted May 27, 2015 Author #6 Share Posted May 27, 2015 The creature noticed Skylar now which was a big mistake on his part. The giant swung it's icicle fist at Skylar intent on just killing the annoying human. ID: 17452 MD: 10 Skylar's shield was to small to take on that shear force. Skylar coughed as the wind was knocked out of him and his health bar took a major drop. If Skylar was not careful. This could be the battle that did him in. When the ice giant was about to take another swing it froze. It was already frozen but it stopped moving. Lightning was moving on it as Rose managed to paralyze it. Skylar 0 Posted May 27, 2015 Author #7 Share Posted May 27, 2015 Skylar had to move quickly. He was still wobbly but he managed to stand. Running was a bit harder as he was winded and landing the hit maybe even harder. ID: 17453 BD: 7 Skylar thought it was time to use one of his specialty moves. "Rapid Bunny Punch!" The series of devastating jabs would have killed other monsters. Avalanche's defense was to high to cause it any real pain. Skylar 0 Posted May 27, 2015 Author #8 Share Posted May 27, 2015 The frost giant was still not moving but the affects of Rose Quartz was starting to ebb. Skylar took this moment to make sure everyone that was alive when he first started fighting was still alive. Thank goodness that all made it out okay Now was his chance to get out and make it to safety, just Skylar refuse to walk away from a fight. "It's me and you. You overgrown drink cooler." Skylar 0 Posted May 27, 2015 Author #9 Share Posted May 27, 2015 The lightning paralysis on Avalanche was disappearing. Skylar had to get the free hit in while he could. Getting more damage on the thing now could most likely save his life. Skylar ran forward and jumped as high as he could, which was only to Avalanche's kneecap. ID: 17459 BD: 7 Still Skylar was high enough to bring his heel crashing down into the Giant's cold knee. The damage was not much, but it started to add up with all the continuous hits Skylar was making. Team Skylar: 35/40 Monster Avalanche: 32/
Skylar 0 Posted May 27, 2015 Author #10 Share Posted May 27, 2015 *RROOOAAARRR* Avalanche released another earth shattering roar. This time the cave shook dropping chunks of ice from the ceiling. This ice fell in front of the cave entrance sealing most of it off. It would take Skylar at least 30 minutes to clear it all. Even Rutta managed to get pinned by a rock. He was alright just immobile. ID: 17464 MD: 6 Skylar was dodging the falling rocks. The giant was smarter then Skylar believed because as Skylar got close dodging it kicked Skylar right in his shield arm. Skylar 0 Posted May 27, 2015 Author #11 Share Posted May 27, 2015 It stung but and Skylar flew upwards into the air from the force of the kick. He flipped downwards shield first using pure strength. He allowed the program for gravity to kick in as he fell downwards. ID: 17465 BD: 8 Skylar came crashing down like a meteor right into Avalanche. The giant fell back from the sudden heated attack. "Yeah I bet you did not see that one coming! Now did you!" Team Skylar: 32/40 Monster Avalanche: 24/
Skylar 0 Posted May 27, 2015 Author #12 Share Posted May 27, 2015 ID:17466 MD: 9 Avalanche seemed to have started shaking. Skylar naturally assumed it was from anger, or it was actually falling apart after the face of Skylar's last attack. Skylar moved close shield at the ready. *Boom* If this was real life Skylar would be dead. The force of the smash would have ruptured internal organs of a real person. The damage to Skylar was enough to drop off more then one HP point. Team Skylar: 28/40 Monster Avalanche: 24/
Skylar 0 Posted May 27, 2015 Author #13 Share Posted May 27, 2015 Skylar stood up as the lightning arched out of Rose. Stopping the Juggernaut of an ice cube again. "You really need to stop hurting me. It is kind of an annoyance." ID: 17472 BD: 2+1 Skylar could not get an attack in otherwise. Icicles kept falling from the ceiling keeping Skylar from getting close enough to punch. It was hard enough to avoid get impaled with the icicles. If the giant could move Skylar would already be dead. Team Skylar: 28/40 Monster Avalanche: 24/
Skylar 0 Posted May 27, 2015 Author #14 Share Posted May 27, 2015 Skylar was ducking and weaving as Avalanche was amused. The moving player was a mosquito to the giant and the giant believed it could not loose any way. It sat and laughed and waited for the lightning to wear off. The Ice Giant smelled the end that was coming ever so quickly for the last gnat in front of it. Team Skylar: 28/40 Monster Avalanche: 24/
Skylar 0 Posted May 27, 2015 Author #15 Share Posted May 27, 2015 This would be the last time to get some good damage in before it could move again. So data gods do not fail me now! ID: 17473 BD: 7+1= 8 (Hit) "It will not do to dwell in darkness. You may be big and hard but I will defeat you!" This time Skylar targeted the other knee. He jumped spun and preformed another heel drop. The damage went down to a little above red. Skylar was slowly but surely whittling down the Giant's HP. Skylar 0 Posted May 27, 2015 Author #16 Share Posted May 27, 2015 ID:17479 MD: 9 (+1 Crit) Avalanche was not in a playing around mood. Again the ice giant brought down a giant fist. The hit was strong enough to cause major damage again. If it was not for the fact that Rose shot lighting every time he got majorly damages. Skylar may have been dead already. Skylar 0 Posted May 28, 2015 Author #17 Share Posted May 28, 2015 Skylar never had a fight as long or dangerous as this one. Still it should end soon. Skylar was not sure how long he could keep the fight, but he knew he would have to try to end it as soon as possible. The icy chill in the air continued to grow thicker. Skylar ran forward for an open palm strike, he wanted this battle to end. ID: 17579 BD: 7+1 =8 (Hit) CD: 11 Skylar hit the ice giant in the chest. It was a pretty good damage hit. Skylar also managed to heal once as his battle healing skill kicked in. Team Skylar: 25/40 Monster Avalanche: 12/
Skylar 0 Posted May 28, 2015 Author #18 Share Posted May 28, 2015 Avalanche started to bide it's time again. Seeing as how this was the third time this has happened the computer knew it would not move till the sparks fizzled. It doubted the puny runt of a human could do something to hurt it. The beast smiled or at least looked like it. The mouth was like a cavern it could have been smiling or that could be the natural face. Not like Skylar had a degree in understanding monster expressions. Team Skylar: 25/40 Monster Avalanche: 12/
Skylar 0 Posted May 28, 2015 Author #19 Share Posted May 28, 2015 "Please! Let me get this next hit" Skylar had no clue who he was talking to aloud but he needed more hits to land on this thing. It was a pain for the pure fact that it was easily capable of decimating Skylar's health point like nothing. I guess I should try that new move I was working on. It is not finished but it should be able to use it. ID: 17665 BD: 5+1=6 (Success) Skylar jumped twice. First onto the knee of the immobile giant. Then up to the face. "Get ready for this! Great tiger palm." Skylar placed one hand other the other and just thrust upwards. Not really a great a move as the build up suggested but he was working on it. Skylar 0 Posted May 28, 2015 Author #20 Share Posted May 28, 2015 ID:17671 MD: 2 *RROOOAAAARRR* Oh boy was Avalanche mad. Skylar felt like if rabid dog foam could come out of the creature's mouth it would. The fact that a single human player like Skylar could get it in the red was cause enough for anger. Skylar saw it raise both hands up in an mistakable gesture. Skylar ran to grab Rutta and hid behind Rose when the fists fell. A wave of snow rose up and covered them both.
