» About: Growing up in a small house with a big family turned a quiet child into a brash and excitable young man. Though his primary interest when he was growing up were his books and drawings, he was often interrupted by his siblings dragging him outside. He never had a bad time - they played knights and robbers, and went on quests and adventures - and it fueled his imagination, turning him into the committed gamer he was from his teenage years onwards. 

 

In any conversation, Nat is a big presence. With his constant gesturing and moving and loud voice, he often makes himself the center of attention. He has a tendency to talk over others and interrupt conversations as soon as he thinks of something to say. Telling him to shut up will only work for so long before he does it again, but most of the time he is genuinely apologetic. 

 

Though he often causes irritation, he rarely says anything offensive or rude, even if he's always making jokes and has an incredibly hard time remaining serious for long periods of time. Incredibly open, Nat's emotions are always clear to read - and if you make the mistake of asking, he'll be sure to give you an earful about anything and everything on his mind, whether it's small or serious. It's hard to offend him, but it can also be difficult getting him to take constructive criticism - a lot of things just flow off him without really sticking.

 

» Virtues:

Jovial - no matter how grim the situation may be, chances are Nat has a smile on his face and is trying his best to reassure everyone else. On his own, he has a wonderful inner dialogue and tries not to let anything phase him.

Perceptive - he has an eye for detail, for clues. His keen eye has often gotten him a good deal in the market or saved him in a scrape.

Honest - whether it's a genuine virtue or whether he's just realized he is literally the worst liar in the world, Nat is open about his emotions and motivations should anyone question him.

 

» Flaws:

Flippant - it's incredibly difficult to get him to be serious. Even if it looks like he's listening, he might be miles away, and the critique of others (even if it's well meant) often doesn't reach him.

Indecisive - especially in the heat of the moment, Nat has a tendency to freeze up and panic. Adventuring in parties makes him nervous because of this - at least solo, he can kind of go at his own pace.

Gullible - perhaps due to his own open nature, Nat usually decides to trust the words and reasons of others (often ignoring his own instincts in order to do this).
