[PP-F5] The Sands (Jevi)

Recommended Posts

The sun beat down on the golden haired boy as he walked back into a city on the fifth floor, His left hand holding the twinfire sword on his shoulder, and his right hand took off the tinted red hydra skull from his head. When lifted, under the hyrda skull was what was now a messy bundle of blonde hair. Each step Zelrius took, his dress shoes clicked neatly along, and the sheath on his lightly bounced. The azure pendant around his neck was nicely centered and say square in the middle of his chest, hanging over the black bowtie and dress shirt that the boy wore under a similarly colored coat and gloves. Today was a bad day to pick the all black Tuxedo. The arrogant boy thought to himself as he swaggered about in the hot air that was the fifth floor's desert.

Upon entering the cities and walking between the buildings in the nice path that was built for it, Zelrius sheathed his sword of azure and maroon flames in the golden sheath on his right hip, along with putting the skull of the hydra away in his inventory, now his hands were free, as such they fiddled with the bowtie idly, pulled back his black gloves, and straightened the rest of his tuxedo. Now for a day's worth of entertainment.

Go to Floor 2, collect 5 iron slabs..

The smell of burning wood and metal filled the surrounding area as Jevi emerged from a blacksmith's shop on Floor One. She finally managed to find a player who needed something done and would pay her in return. Then she would finally be able to use the col to get some better gear and be able to settle down in this world without the fear of dying.

Go to Floor 2, collect 5 iron slabs..

The player who ran the show asked Jevi if she could go up to Floor Two, just outside of the safe zone, and gather some iron ore for him to use in his forge. She worried about moving up to another floor, but she figured she was strong enough just to go up to the next one. She repeated the instructions in her head as she walked through the streets quickly to the Teleportation Plaza. Jevi could sometimes be a little forgetful, so she wanted to make sure she did not mess this one up.

Go to Floor 2, colle-

A private message sent to Jevi interrupted her thoughts as she walked. She opened it to see it was a message from Shaya. She smiled as she read it over, Shaya was looking into some of the different materials she would need to collect to find her own profession. Jevi sent out a quick reply and went on her way, stepping into the plaza.

Go to Floor 5, collect 2 iron slabs..

As she stepped onto the platform, which held a circle of blue light encased in a gold ring, she spoke her destination;
~"Teleport, Floor Five.. wai-!"
In a flash of bright white light, Jevi's body disappeared. When she reopened her eyes, she saw her position had changed. She was now in the center of a town placed right in the middle of a large desert.  Immediately, she felt the change of temperature on this floor.. but to her surprise, it was not too bad. She gazed around the area, observing how much different it was from the Town of Beginnings. Her eyes were soon drawn to another player, who seemed to have just entered the town. She placed her hands on her hips as she saw that he was wearing a black tuxedo. ~Probably not the right thing to wear in this heat.." she said to herself, not exactly realizing she said that out loud.

"I don't need you reminding me woman" The golden haired boy called out to the remark said rather blatantly loud and seemed more of an insult. He put a finger in his collar, pulling to hopefully get some airflow. Much to his dismay, nothing was accomplished by this act.  "Why don't you find something else to do other than mock people who could split you in half with a single swipe of their sword?" His arrogant-as-ever tone of voice rising a bit as he swung the sword, wrapped in flames of light blue and dark red, at the air in the direction of the voice. Some people have the nerve these days to say dumb things like that aloud, tch. Swaggering over to the teleportation gate, Zelrius was the type of person who's ego was so large, even his thoughts went so far as to insult people on a consistent basis.

(OOC, Not a fantastic post, sorry. Just didn't want to keep you waiting any longer than I already did)

Jevi thought she felt her eye twitch for a moment when the man spoke back to her. She did not mean for him to say what she said.. but she did not expect a return like that. She clenched her fist, glaring at the blonde haired boy with her yellow eyes, which were slightly cut off by her lowered brow. She stomped off of the warp pad towards the boy, sand kicking up with each step she took towards him. After a couple of large steps, Jevi was closely approaching the boy. Using the back of her hand, she gently pushed the sword he had pulled on her out of the way and got up close to him. We are in a safe zone, I'm not scared of your fancy sword.. Through grit teeth, she said to the boy, her face right in front of his, ~"I'm not scared of you.. and you should watch that tone of yours."
