She hadn't really thought about how the question could have a emotional or private answer that he'd rather not tell her. When she was about to say "nevermind" Matt started to talk, saying something weird that Lily didn't really understand. As he put her down slowly Lily remained on the same spot as he walked away. She didn't know whether to follow him or just leave him alone for a while. Lily sat down on the ground and looked around. There were barely any people around so it was really quiet which Lily appreciated.After sitting on the same spot for a few minutes the girl got up and walked towards the closest bench. She hopped onto the bench and laid down with a sigh, She didn't have anywhere to go so just decided to get some more rest.
