Alet 0 Posted September 18, 2015 Author #21 Share Posted September 18, 2015 I gave up a rather long time ago, contradicting from what I said earlier, now opting for observing mob patterns and general observation of the area.I actually was able to do a amazing field study on boars and there tactics! From what I've seen, boars are rather simple, there attacks consist of a combination of charges and melee with their main weapon there tusks. The general weak point is there charges, however, I've seen a rather large amount of players being gutted by said charge and shattering into light blue pixels... So... How can I fight them, that's my question, as I've heard that materials drop from mobs that are around your level, and as I've said before, materials equal currency in many shops. So, maybe while they're charging? Well... It sounds good on paper, but in my opinion, way too risky, as the boar can move its tusks to align with the defenders body, and I've seen way too many people try that and fail miserably... So, how? Ambushing? Actually...I start flipping through my skills, and spot a sword art called [Side Bite], which is practically just a jump forward and two slashes with a knife. Perfect actually, for a ambush... However... I sigh a little as I read the energy consumption... 2 energy, which is double of what I currently have... Well then... I guess I have to wait until I magically gain enough to actually fight...Closing the menu, I start walking around with no real purpose in mind, just looking around the world Mr.Game Creator trapped us in, though its rather beautiful to be completely honest... Alet 0 Posted September 18, 2015 Author #22 Share Posted September 18, 2015 When I think back on it... I'm kinda surprised I haven't been targeted by a mob yet... I mean, there were many close encounters, but none actually putting my general safety in danger. This is rather, unsettling, to be honest... I expected to have to run into one of those safe zones because a wolf crossed my path and wanted a midnight snack or something of the sort. But nope, no danger, nothing trying to kill me, I seriously wonder if you can just sneak by most of the mobs in this game without having to fight any of them... Then again, I believe you have to kill some sort of powerful monster to progress through the game... There goes that plan...Walking with a open sky above me, I seriously wonder about this place, and what Mr.Game Creator was thinking while making this "game".Its... Peaceful, if you allow it to be, which is amazing considering that many view this as a "death game". You don't have to actually fight if you don't want to, just stay inside of the safe zones, which is a guaranteed no monster, no death zone, besides from the occasional duel to the death... Which now that I think about it, hasn't happened in a long, LONG, time. Its not likes its only combat, there's cooking, sewing, heck, I even once upon a time saw a guy with a guitar tuning his instrument, and showing off a collection of music that was contained in these really odd crystal items. So, why do people want to leave? There's no plague, no war, no dragging yourself to work everyday, there's even other players that would gladly join you staying on the lower floors! Though, maybe everyone has a reason to stay on the front lines... So... Whats mine? Why do I want to join them?I look up, with my poker face still set firmly on my expression, hiding any real emotion from showing, except one... Curiosity. So, why am I fighting?Actually, that's a stupid question...I turn around to go back to the city, where many players are still trying to cling on the last bit of reality that was ripped away from them during that day..."I wonder what will happen when we clear it?" Alet 0 Posted September 18, 2015 Author #23 Share Posted September 18, 2015 I wandered WAY too far from the city, it took me the rest of the day to actually find it once more. The gates were still guarded by NPC's that vigilantly stood guard over the city, watching for any monster that got too close for comfort. After a small greeting, the allowed me to enter the city, which was slowing down due to time of day.I started to search for my regular hiding spot, which was a small alleyway hidden among the other thousand nooks and cranny this city had to offer. Settling down into a sleeping position, I was about to activate the sleeping function when I spotted a small message hidden in my menu.Curious about it, I sat up straight and opened the message...Congratulations!For taking your first steps out of the city, you have been awarded Col and SP!Good job [Alet]! Do you accept? Yes/No?With a curious glance, I read what it contained, and it seems as if pressing "Yes" would reward me with things that are rather useful to me... MMO's are weird, who would refuse free stuff? No human of course, and that's the majority of this game's population...Pressing "Yes", I received the Col and SP, and activated the sleep function... I guess it was a successful first day in the field...
