[PP - F02] «Long Live the Queen»

As the «Post-Motion» came to an end, Tyonis continued holding his spear in a long-staff grip. He pushed himself off his knee and spun again, chambering his arms for another heavy swing. The Skill Assist System recognized the «Pre-Motion» for «Heft» once more and Tyonis' weapon began to glow. 

"EAT [censored]!" Tyonis roared as he felt his spear cleave through more digital flesh. He'd managed to time the Sword Skill to strike as the Wind Wasp Queen was recovering from her Stunned status. His spear's reach allowed Tyonis to strike the monster clear across its face. It buzzed in angry pain and rolled onto its legs and lunged at Tyonis with its mandibles. Frozen in the Sword Skill's «Post-Motion», Tyonis could do nothing but steel himself for the inevitable counter attack.

Intellectually, Tyonis knew you couldn't feel pain in SAO. But he still felt some amount of fear as a mini-van-sized wasp clamped down on his over-extended arm and bit down hard enough to puncture his arm guards.

Embarassed from her last failure, Neo quickly got up and went in to attack the wasp queen. She wasn't trying anything fancy this time, and just went for a straight up attack with her sword art to guide her. She let loose the first strike, puncturing a wing. The second strike went into the abdomen and looked like it did some real damage. THe third and fourth strikes went into the head of the beast, causing it to screech in pain. Neo leapt back to avoid being struck as well and looked around. The beast's health was low enough that one good hit would probably take it out. And though she nearly matched Mars's damage, Neo was almost certain that he was holding back. Hopefully, he wouldn't take all of the glory for himself. Even if he did go for the last hit, she hoped he would recognize the effort being put in by all of us.

Tsu watched as the combat against the wasp continued. Mars did a bit more damage to the wasp, Neo actually landed a hit this time, and Tyonis did a little bit more damage as well. But unfortunately for Tyonis, the wasp queen seemed to have recovered from it's temporary stun and attacked him,  but it only dealt 4 damage. Tsu was expecting a bit more damage to be dealt to him at his level, but then again, this was an easy quest. The queen had only a little bit of health left, but Tsu already knew that even with the best results possible, she couldn't kill it. It was such a small difference she would make, so Tsu decided to do her actual job and hopped all the way over to Tyonis. She stuck her tongue out as it started to glow with her first aid skill, and she licked Tyonis's small arm wound, healing it back up. "Rrrrrribbit." Tsu said to Tyonis, giving him a bit of a warning for next time. Advice was usually helpful for things like combat.

He calmly watches the events unfold as the two damage dealers of this group manage to land a rather good hit upon the opponent, and from what he could observe from the one named Tyonis getting hit it is most likely he is a tank/DPS hybrid in the making.  He looks down at his own set of clothing and then shrugs figuring he will stick with this for the foreseeable future just so he can focus on just the damage aspect, and then work on getting as much loot as he can to make sure to have a chance of optimizing his build with unique enhancements if he can get a chance to do so. He glances towards the one known as Neo as she manages to do some decent damage with her weapon of choice wondering if there is a reason she had chosen hers. Be it familiarity, the way the weapon handles, or having some plan at the end for what she is striving to achieve with what she has. For Mars himself he remains seated at his tree alongside his familiar just watching the battle unfold.

To say Tyonis was off put by Tsu's strange method of healing was an understatement. If he hadn't seen Tsu and Neo's queer handshake, he would have flinched away from Tsu's attempt at using her tongue to heal him. He half-expected his arm to fall off and was treated to the very strange sensation of having a long tongue run across an open wound. Thankfully, it lasted but a moment. When Tsu croaked something at him, Tyonis just shot her a deadpan expression in reply.

"You know, I can open a Private Message chat if you just want to type out what you need to say." He suggested, having no idea what Tsu was trying to convey. It was how he overcame any major communication issue between Neo and himself, so he figured it would work with Tsu as well. He tried to follow up and finish the Wind Wasp Queen with a final thrust, but his spear bounced off the creature's carapace. 

"Tsk!" Tyonis clicked his tongue as the Wind Wasp Queen tore out another small chunk out of his digital flesh.

Neo watched as everyone began to miss more and more. She wasn't sure what was causing it, but it seemed as though the wasp had learned from them before. Mars wasn't being much help as he just stood back there watching, probably judging from afar. Not that Neo blamed him, he could probably take the beast out in a single strike and wanted to see what we could do. Though Neo felt as though the queen would dodge around her attacks anyways, Neo went for another sword art. She decided to go for many strikes, and hemmed the wasp queen in between them. Neo was pinning the wasp queen with her attacks. She wasn't able to land a hit, but by striking on both sides, Neo could make it so that Ty was able to strike it more easily. So long as he aimed a little high, he should be able to connect his attack.

Tsu was just a little bit annoyed with the way that Mars did nothing this time around, but she didn't really expect much out of Mars considering his attitude last time. Basically, Tsu wasn't surprised at all. But after Mars did nothing, Tyonis was attacked again after missing, and he took less damage this time as well, so that was nice. Tsu stuck her tongue out again and licked the area that the wasp queen had taken out, it being quickly regenerated. Tyonis said that he could open a chat so Tsu could type out what she needed to say. Tsu nodded her head, "Rrrrrib rrribbit." Tsu answered, telling Tyonis he could do that after the fight. Tsu had a feeling that Tyonis had no idea what she was saying, but at least he was being honest with it. Mars was up again, and he would mostly likely be getting a tongue slap if he didn't do anything again.

He watches the fight continue to go on as the queen wasp seemed to learn how the two before her had attacked it and learned from its mistakes. A rather interesting way for the ai to learn and counter what is being done to it seemingly, or just a small stroke of luck occurring for the wasp where it should've previously had died within that next instance. He keeps watch of the fight ahead of him watching as the queen is having an easy time attacking whatever it would want though with the combined efforts of Tsu and Tyonis' Mits the beast hadn't technically landed a single strike against the players in terms of there health. He just continued to just relax and watch the fight with only a small bit of interest as the outcome is rather clear, but at the very least he had learned enough of what he should expect from these players if they decide to remain as some type of combat group for quests.

Tyonis was clearly frustrated that the Wind Wasp Queen simply refused to die. At this point, Tyonis could barely see a pixel of red, indicating it had less than 1% of its HP left. He had been hoping Neo would finish it off with her next attack, but she managed to at least pin it down for a bit and stop its movement. Tsu came and healed the small bit of damage he had taken. Honestly, he wanted her to just finish the monster and end the fight, but from what he'd seen earlier, it was quite possible she couldn't even penetrate the creature's hide. When Tsu croaked at him, Tyonis shook his head, signaling he had no idea what she was trying to say and instead turned his attention back to the giant wasp.

Steeling himself and abandoning any excess finesse or flourish, Tyonis adjusted the grip on his spear and thrusted straight into the Wind Wasp Queen's left eye. The spear penetrated over halfway and erased the sliver of HP the monster clung to. It collapsed with a final buzz of defiance then shattered into countless red polygons.

He turned to his party members and gave them a thumbs up.

"Great work, team!" He announced, making sure to shoot a glance at Mars to indicate that yes, the stoic martial artist was still being included as part of the team - he did deal a good portion of the overall damage, after all.

Neo watched as Ty's last strike brought the chaos to a close. It was a much harder fight than it should have been, especially compared to the last time Neo took on the boss. Even if it had learned from her and Mars, who she assumed had already taken out the beast, it shouldn't know anything about Ty and Tsu wasn't an attacker. Maybe it had a lot of general experience with spear users, but that shouldn't make it that good at dealing with the group. Neo continued to ponder the game's strange habits as she checked to ensure her blade was clean. She knew that it shouldn't be getting dirty, but after hearing some horror stories about how rusty a blade could get Neo didn't want to take the risk. Once checked, Neo turned to the group and smiled. They had done it, and for the most part as a team. She didn't like Mars holding back so much, but he did contribute so Neo couldn't judge him that much.

Tsu got a little bit more mad with Mars as he decided to sit back and do nothing again, but she couldn't really say anything to him about it. Even if she could, Mars had done a bit of contribution himself so Tsu wasn't really one to talk. Tyonis finally killed the wasp queen when he was up and the quest was complete. Tsu gave a few small claps, before hopping over to where Mars was. "Rrrrribb ribbit!" Tsu let out, basically congratulating everyone on beating the boss. Tsu still didn't do much, so she felt a little bit guilty about the whole thing. If she had contributed more than she actually did, then Mars would be getting a tongue slap right now. "Rrrribbbbit!" Tsu exclaimed, before sticking her tongue out for someone to high five. She smiled at Tyonis and Neopolitan once they regrouped, giving Tyonis a thumbs up back.

He nods his head at seeing the queen wasp be defeated by the one who organized this little group as he gets back up onto his feet as he swaps over to vanity clothing of a black shirt, and black cloak, with grey pants. Hee puts his hands in his pockets and makes his way over towards where the group is meeting up, and while doing so ignoring the ribbiting Tsu trying to talk to him and give him some kind of highfive. Not wishing to touch the tongue in any fashion if he can help himself, and not wanting to spend time trying to understand whatever she is trying to say. He looks over towards the silent Neapolitan, and the only actual talking person within this group. Congrats on beating the wasp queen you three i'm certain you have varying levels of some annoyance with myself having done nothing for half of that fight, but would you have preferred i killed the creature in one attack? I mean didn't you feel some more sense of accomplishment by fighting it yourselves and beating it with minimal intervention on my part? he asks the players gathered in a questioning tone of voice glancing from one to the other as his familiar walks up slowly behind himself and sits right behind mars letting out a puff of flames every now and then. His gaze shifting between the three players as he waits for some kind of clue to what the answer would be. Knowing that such a thing is much more difficult with two mutes in the group.

Tyonis closed the Quest Complete window before addressing the party once more. He eyed Tsu's tongue as it emerged out of her mouth and wafted in the wind for a moment. It took him a second to realize she was trying to go for a... tongue-five. So Tyonis swallowed his apprehension and high-fived her with a chuckle. "Thanks for the healing. I didn't know SAO had support skills like that, I'll have to look into getting one or two." Neo was ever silent, but once she joined them Tyonis addressed Mars.

"It's fine. With you around, we were in no real danger and learning how to fight is just as important as winning. If not more, so don't worry about it," Tyonis waved off the man's concern. "You still did a decent amount of work in the opening. It would have been much harder if it stayed airborne. Knocking it out of the sky made the fight manageable." He then addressed the group as a whole. "All right, I appreciate everyone coming out to help. I sent you all Friend Requests, so if you ever need to fill in a party slot, hit me up and I'll come running."

Neo listened closely as the two people who could talk did so. Neo just shrugged to Mars, she didn't feel that much accomplishment from defeating the wasp queen a second time. She had been the DPS that time and did most of the damage. Neo saw Ty give Tsu a high five, and realized that she didn't see her tongue out. Neo quickly went over and gave her a high-five as well. It was a bit odd to use the tongue in such a way, but Neo didn't judge. It certainly seemed to have its uses. Once Ty was done with his closing remarks, Neo gave a nod. She was ready to start fighting some bigger threats, and the wasp queen certainly wasn't one of them.

It's time that I start to work towards a more final goal. I need to get to the front lines as soon as possible.

Tsu didn't let out any more ribbits and just listened to Tyonis give his small talk with everyone, thanking them for coming out and helping out. Tsu accepted his friend request and got a small smile on her face when both Tyonis and Neo gave her a high five to her tongue. Both of them seemed pretty nice, so Tsu made a little mental note to maybe work with them more in the future. Mars still seemed pretty much the same as he was last time, so Tsu made another mental note that maybe working with Mars isn't such a good idea if one wanted to have a somewhat good time. Tyonis then said that if any of them needed him to fill a party slot, he would help. Tsu nodded her head and started to walk away a bit from the group. "Ribb rrrrribbit." Tsu said to herself, observing the group. They were a nice well rounded group, so Tsu imagined that if they all stuck together, they could go pretty far. It would be an interesting group to see, but it was pretty unreasonable to assume that the four of them would stay together as one party.

He nods his head towards the man known as Tyonis as he says what he feels is needed at the time and glances towards the friend request and hits accept on it. he then glances towards the quiet one and sends a friend request of his own to the ice cream named goal with a nod of his head towards her. You're a good fighter Neo. I wouldn't mind teaming up in the future. He says towards the pink haired woman with a nod of his head and glances towards the man known as Tyonis and nods his head to him as well. You as well Tyonis you're a good fighter and seem to know how to lead at least a group of people into a fight. I'm interested to see how much farther you can go with more experience in this game feel free to call upon me if you're in need of help. He says with a nod of his head and gives a wave of his hand as he makes his way back towards the main settlement to find the teleport gate to make his way towards the fifth floor where there is a shark with his fist needing to be put through it.
