With the chip damage that was Arang, it didn’t really penetrate much through his armor, and with Wolfenstein missing the attack as Macradon dodged, it only left Lydia to actually deal the heavy blow. When Macradon dodged he hadn’t thought much of Lydia’s incoming attack, but hadn’t really need to bother about it. Lydia was the one that actually did some damage compared to the others, but even then, she was no match for the sheer damage output of Macradon. “What a nice combo attack you guys have, but try to fight off this!” Macradon said as he activated another Calamitous Disaster. The nimble Arang was more than capable of getting out of the way, but both Wolfenstein and Lydia were in no position to dodge, evade or parry. With a gleaming white light, Macradon swung through the two like a burning hot knife through room temperature butter. As his blade tore through the digital fabric of space and phased right through their armor, Wolfenstein and Lydia both roared in agony from the attack even though there was no actual pain, only uncomfortable feedback. Arang sprung out to attack, but Macradon was nimble enough to duck under the attack and position himself properly. As he ducked under Arang’s dynamic attack, Macradon spun and had his sword trail after him. The pommel of his sword began to glow as he activated his <Tempest> sword art and threw the pommel right into the face of Arang, who flew back into the others. It did near to no damage overall on all of them, but Arang and Wolfenstein were down on the ground, stunned. Looking up at Lydia Macradon would taunt “Now it’s just us two, show me what a Greatsword wielder can do.". Lydia charged in with a warcry, but it was too straight forward, it was just like what Macradon did to Bjørn before he got serious, it was pitiful, not really what he had hoped for of another two handed sword wielder. “Pathetic!” Macradon called out as he prepared for his next attack. Lydia quickly got out of the way and performed her own Sword Art at Macradon. As Macradon slashed through the grounded enemies, Lydia cleaved right into Macradon’s back, but he didn’t budge an inch. He slowly looked over at Lydia “Don’t tempt death.” he said and draw his sword back from the two that had now been pushed away by the force feedback from Macradon’s sword art. “Aren’t you supposed to be strong or something? Does your leader really believe so much in you that he thinks the three of your can take me on?!” Macradon taunted, yelling at the people in front of him. Lydia could but bark at Macradon, she just threw slurs at him, there wasn’t much else she could say at the moment, nothing she could say would actually have any meaning, that wasn’t her thing. The glowing holy light that nearly blinded the surrounding players signified the potent damage that would be felt by the two hit by Macradon’s attack. Arang did the smart move to wait for Macradon to be vulnerable before he would go in for an attack, but he still waited for Wolfenstein to get back up on his feet and slam his pommel into Macradon’s helmet again. Right as the ringing began, Arang went in for a flurry of dagger blows that would deplete part of Macradon’s health again, it was going slowly, but it was budging, but not budging as much as Lydia’s, who was now in the yellow zone, and Wolfenstein who was nearing the yellow zone again. “As I said, don’t tempt death!” Macradon roared with concussed by the pommel strike. “If you just give up I’ll take your lives much faster, this farce is only dragging out your imminent death!” Macradon raored while trying to get a solid footwork up and running again. Very noble of you that you can’t even face an enemy alone one on one. At least your friend Bjørn was brave enough to face me, unlike you three who needs each other’s backup to actually be effective. Look at my health, it’s barely dented, look at yours! It's only a matter of time before you all die to my blade!” Macradon said, trying to intimidate them to surrender, but Lydia was enraged and went in, swinging wildly at Macradon, dealing a good blow that was halved by his battle healing. “She’s the damage dealer of you three, why don’t you follow her instead? She’s more competent at this Player Killing than you two are!” Macradon said and got back into a proper stance as he was propelled by Lydia’s Galaxy Destroyer. "Shut up!" You’ll be the one who will shut up when I’m done with you once and for good!” Macradon taunted and got into position for another attack. Wolfenstein and Lydia also got into position for some kind of tag team attack, but Belphegor got right into their face, all close and all which somewhat deterred them from attack, which gave Macradon more than enough time to engage upon them, disregarding that Arang was somewhere probably aiming another attack at Macradon. Going in with another heavy hit on Lydia and a less heavy hit on Wolfenstein, Macradon was assaulted by Arang who flanked and got to the side of Macradon, but it didn’t really do much, his Battle Healing was more than enough to take care of that small wound. Macradon snickered “You should just give up. You don’t do enough damage to bypass my Battle Healing skill.” he scoffed at Arang, but Arang just replied with a rather disappointed “Hmph.” and got out of Macradon’s range again. Wolfenstein stood up between Lydia and Macradon, making a wall that would not let Lydia die now. “No, you’re not permitted to get close to my sister, you need to take me down before I let you get to her!” Wolfenstein roared at Macradon. Arang kept to himself away from the others, but still engaged in combat, even though there wasn’t much he could help with if the others didn’t attack, his attacks alone was not enough to deal any damage to Macradon. Macradon would tilt his head to the side to crack his spine and then went in for an attack that was loosely aimed at Wolfenstein for him to block with all his might. Macradon wasn’t really trying to get a proper attack in, but rather just have them stay put for now. While Wolfenstein was holding Macradon back, Lydia would take a short step away, Macradon noticed this and leaned to the side, throwing Wolfenstein off balance. Her rage was gone, just like Bjørn, the rage was swapped out with fear. She had finally seen death, and she was about to experience it herself. Macradon would close his eyes momentarily and thought for himself “I’m sorry … but it’s for the greater good.”. With one fell swoop Macradon sword emitted the holy light again, cleaving into Lydia several times. Her eyes wide open, her mouth not comprehending her own final moments. “Heinrich … goodby-” Lydia said as she shattered into crystals while looking at Wolfenstein. “Nooooooo!” Wolfenstein roared as he rushed over to his now deceased sister’s crystalline remains that slowly disappeared “NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!” he roared once again in agony. Arange took the opportunity to strike Macradon from behind, and with his attacks slipped under the neck of the helmet, throwing it off of the knight in dark armor. Macradon’s alabaster hair and scarlet eyes were finally displayed for everyone, and as the three remaining player killers saw it, it finally clicked. “It’s you!” Hannibal yelled at Macradon and used his <Charge> skill to engage into combat, but Macradon quickly recovered from his Sword Art fatigue and dodged the incoming attack. “Me who? I thought I was just a nobody!” Macradon said with a chortle, mocking the three remaining’s ignorance. Macradon 0 Posted August 14, 2019 Author #29 Report Share Posted August 14, 2019 (edited) Even though he had killed one, he was still engaged in combat with three, Hannibal had finally chosen to enter the fray, and it seemed like he was competent, Macradon did not like this increase in difficulty, since it was already a slog to fight off against the others here. “Sorry boss, but I don’t want to die, especially not like this.” Arang said and leapt away from Macradon, trying to hide in the rubble of the surroundings. Macradon took note of this, and since Macradon’s passive Stealth Detection was high enough, Arang was still in clear sight of Macradon. Spinning around with his sword trailing after him, Macradon would bash his pommel into Hannibal’s head, whose body then flew into Wolfenstein, dealing but a small tick of damage to the Knight, but a sizable amount to the leader. You’re were my second in command, and this is how you display your rank? By fleeing? Coward!” Hannibal yelled. “Wow wow wow there, I’m the one you should focus on.” Macradon said before Hannibal could react and struck him and Wolfenstein once again with broad strokes that dealt a fine amount of damage. “You killed her! You killed my sister!” Wolfenstein yelled at Macradon “You killed Henrietta! You bastard!” Wolfenstein said as he recovered from Macradon’s blow, but was still not ready to fight. Even though they had just gotten backup from their leader, it didn’t seem like it tipped the scale enough to lead it to their favor, Macradon was still the one standing superior above them. “Not only did you kill Lydia and Bjørn, but you killed Hector and Draigo as well! You’re a murderer, you know that, right?!” Hannibal scoffed at Macradon. He is the one who shall free us from this place, and all he needs is a few sacrifices to increase his probability of succeeding!” Hannibal preached out to Macradon who wasn’t having a bit of it “Yeah no.” Macradon said and cleaved into Wolfenstein and Hannibal again, but this time, instead of having to recover, Wolfenstein pushed through his “pain” and went in for another attack with his pommel, this time on the exposed face of Macradon. Macradon stumbled backwards and took to his head with his left hand “Ah [censored]!” he yelled, it was much less pleasant without the helmet, and this was a reason to get him fired up. “At first it was to protect the citizens of Aincrad, but now it’s personal!” Macradon roared even though he was having a hard time trying to get himself together to fight again. While still recovering from the blow, Macradon would snicker “And you all called me a fool, a coward, pathetic. Look where you stand now, you can’t even fight 1 person while you were a team.” Macradon said as he got up from the Stun period. As Hannibal went in for another attack with his One Handed Straight Sword, Macradon parried it away easily, looking smugly at Hannibal “So when are you gonna use that other sword you got there? You’ve mainly been using your main hand to attack, what about the off hand?” Macradon said with a snicker “Maybe you’re not that good at dual wielding at all. Death_Adder could barely do it, and there you go, not able to either. You’re like master and disciple, both incompetent at doing their signature.” Macradon said and laughed. This dude was supposed to be their leader, supposed to be their strongest, yet his fighting style is off, it was like someone boosted his levels for him and he didn’t have to do any work because he was god awful at fighting. Maybe he just spammed many non-combat quests to get these levels because there is no way he would be proficient in fighting those quests. Macradon would sigh deeply but was hit by another attack from Wolfenstein. Looking over at the knight, Macradon went in for another attack trying to angle it so he hit both the enemies that were left, but it did not seem to have any effect, all he did was dent Wolfenstein’s health bar a bit. For some reason, his attacks and positioning was so off, but so right, that he was not hit by anything, the one who was hit was Hannibal for once, and Hannibal hit as well. Something that Macradon found odd by Hannibal’s attack, his right hand sword, it was engulfed in darkness as well as the Sword Art glimmering, this was typically indications of Fallen Damage to be used, Macradon was getting well versed in that, since his old mentor used it, and one of his battle field buddies used it as well. As the darkness hit Macradon, it spread and dealt almost no damage. Hannibal looked up at Macradon health bar with a shocked face “But … how …” he muttered, not understanding what was going on, Macradon merely chortled at Hannibal’s disbelief. It wasn’t going as intended, Macradon’s energy reserves were getting low, he was below half of his max energy now, so it was getting critical, but it didn’t seem like Hannibal would be able to do anything against him now, even with the major amount of energy Hannibal would have, he would still not be able to dent Macradon’s health at all. “Is that what you have to show me! My health is at max again, and your’s is at yellow, how does that feel!” Macradon taunted Wolfenstein “Without your second in command, you guys are pretty much useless.” Macradon laughed, but Wolfenstein wasn’t having. They both struck at the same time, making the feedback of the attack double, pushing Macradon back while he was stunned “Take that!” Wolfenstein roared with a smile as he made Macradon fall to the ground with the joined effort of Hannibal. Even though they successfully tumbled Macradon over, they both still stood in shock as Macradon’s health bar had not moved an inch, it was still full. Macradon would get up as the stun effect had gone by and held his hand by his head as he tried to explain “Don’t you guys get it yet … you don’t do enough damage, not even together.” Macradon said as he grunted while getting up from the ground. Macradon 0 Posted August 15, 2019 Author #37 Report Share Posted August 15, 2019 (edited) Hannibal grit his teeth, he was being humiliated, his damage had never been this low before, his Fallen Damage used to make him stand out from the rest, but now, he was merely a fly trying to scratch Macradon’s armor. “I guess this is why Hector and Draigo had a hard time against you, you’re a monster!” Hannibal retorted at Macradon, finally raising his voice above the norm, sounding more confused than enraged “Of course they couldn’t stand up to someone like you!” he added. Macradon shrugged his shoulders “I dunno, I had a friend with me, and she took care of Hector like it was nothing as well. You guys are like small fry, Death_Adder is the one who’s actually a threat, he can actually do damage, especially compared to you guys.” Macradon replied. Wolfenstein went in with a mixed emotion like fear and anger as he tried to strike Macradon again, but it didn’t work. Hannibal went in as well and got a chip into Macradon’s armor. The sound of a critical hit was heard which didn’t match Hannibal’s expectations, critical hits were not good for Fallen Damage weapons as it lowered their potential damage outputs. Hannibal grit his teeth again, but he did not have much time for it before Macradon bashed the two with his sword again, dealing a good chunk of damage to the two orange players. Cleaving into his enemies, Macradon’s sword switched from shining its sword art color as well as the holy white light form his enhancements on his weapon. The attack dented Wolfenstein’s health even further, while his attack severely hurt Hannibal, but Macradon was still getting low on energy, he wouldn’t be able to keep this going for too long, these AOE sword arts took too much energy from him than he had anticipated, or at least the battle was taking longer than he had anticipated. The longer the battle, her harder a time he would have to fight multiple enemies, and with Hannibal joining the battle this late with that much energy meant that Macradon would have to do nothing for a while, just having to wait for his energy to come up to par again. Despair was slowly beginning to cover Hannibal’s stern face, he had found quite the cliff to climb, and he had no equipment to help him, all he had was himself, not even his comrades could help him climb this cliff as they had either given up, are about to fall to their death, or had already fallen to their death, he felt scared. Macradon would look down on Wolfenstein with his scarlet eyes piercing through the grey exterior of the knight. Cowering in fear and whimpering, Wolfenstein was scared, he was about to die as well. Macradon would smile and say “You’re about to meet your sister, say hi to her from me.”. Preparing the deathblow, Macradon would try to aim it at Hannibal as well. Both Hannibal and Wolfenstein tried to attack Macradon, resulting in all three clashing without coordination, sending all participants in this battle away from each other. “Damnit.” Macradon muttered as this gave the two enough time to recover som health, leaving Wolfenstein probably out of reach of killing now. Huffing and puffing, Wolfenstein held to himself, trying to get a hold of himself in this adrenaline rush. The three stood ready, though Wolfenstein not as much, they were about to engage upon each other again, but they waited patiently, pacing back and forth, trying to stay out of the other’s reach, hoping for an opening they could take advantage of. It didn’t seem like anyone was taking the initiative at this moment, so they all just paced around while recovering a bit of their health, well those that had taken damage.
