Seldentar places the curved blade to the side. Not to be deterred, he continues to work, taking out another ingot of metal and begins to craft again. Without more materials, he couldn't continue to work on the gauntlets. Instead, he takes out some metal and starts working on the Scimitar for Grim. Since Ruri had cancelled her order, he was next in line. He heats the metal, and then begins the process of shaping it. Seldentar shakes his head. He only had enough materials left to make one more set. Heating the scales up, he cut through them once they were hot enough. Using the bone to create the rivets and other things he needed. The scales, as sharp and hard as metal, began to take form. Then, they shattered apart, leaving nothing left. Seldentar returns to work on Ethereals gauntlets, deciding to give it another shot. Perfect crafts were difficult, but not impossible. It just needed the right touch. He went to work heating up the materials, cutting the scales, and began to work everything together. Good Craft! +2 Exp

Seldentar turns to Grim "Well, what else would you like to try? Ive still got some normal metal, and one ingot of Atlantean Steel left"

Seldentar turns to the second crystal scimitar, and again moves through the smithing options til he gets to reclaim materials. Selecting the option, he waits to see the results. Once again, the item shatters apart into nothingness. "Damn...thats a shame. Oh well, nothing Ventured nothing Gained."

Seldentar frowns, and hit the first Scimitar with his hammer again, opening the smithing menu, and choosing the option to reclaim the crafting materials from the weapon. It begins to glow, and starts to shrink. Then, in a shattering blast of light, it vanishes leaving nothing behind.

Seldentar pulls a potion out of his inventory, and drinks it. As he does, he sees the Daily Craft attempts reset back to zero used for the day. Pulling the second Crystal Ingot out of his bag, he places that into the forge as well, and waits for it to heat up again. Seldentar pulls out one of the Crystal Ingots from his inventory, and places it into the forge. He waits patiently for the crystal to heat up. "I got this from mines on floor 7. There was a giant worm that ate the crystal when you go deep enough, but it was really strong. Had more HP then I did. Next time i go down there, im making sure to bring Shadow with me. As the crystal finishes heating up, he transfers it to the crafting table, and begins to hammer the crystal out, working it into the proper shape. Seldentar does a quick tally on his inventory. "Ive got some normal metal, another ingot of the Atlantean Steel, and a few Crystal Ingots. If you have something special you want it made out of beyond that, you would have to provide it yourself."

Seld nods his head as Grim enters. "Ive got some more supplies now, what would you like it made out of?"

Seldentar was proud of the last craft, but wanted to make another attempt at the perfect craft. He was definitely getting closer, the effect was more of what was hoped for originally. Seldentar shakes his head, and reaches into the new bag of materials Ethereal had dropped off. A perfect craft was always difficult, there was very little capacity to increase that, beyond his armband, and even that didnt help enough at times. Seldentar is not to be deterred, as he continues his work, hammering out bones and slicing the scales to make the appropriate attachments. He knew his supply was not infinite, so he went to work with as much digilance as he could muster. Sadly, while the item looked good, there was no special qualities to it. Seldentar returns to work on the dragon gauntlets, heating up more bones and scales. He wanted to finish this job, and went to work molding the materials to look correct for the item he wanted. Hammering out the bone, he begins to attach the scales. As he attaches the last one, it explodes, leaving nothing behind. Daily Craft 1 of 5 Fail! +1 Exp

Seldentar thinks for a moment, then begins to jot a few notes down as he speaks. "Your looking for speed and damage, so your best bet is for me to use Tamahagane, a very interesting crafting material. It requires mixing materials from a few enemies however. Normal Bones, from skeletons, and Iron Blocks, from Iron Skeletons. Ive heard that once mixed and hardened, its very durable, but incredibly light. Bring me as much of each type as you can, to give us as many chances as possible. It takes 2 bones and 1 block to make a single Ingot of Tamahagane."

Seldentar takes the sword and brings it to his work bench. Tapping it with his hammer, he opens the smithing menus. Cycling through them, he selects the Reclaim Materials option. The sword begins to glow...and then shatters apart into nothing. He shakes his head. "Looks like the gods didn't want that melted down. I have some materials available, or you can collect your own." He points to a sign he keeps updated regularly, current material list: 6 Normal Metal, 2 Crystal Ingots, 1 Atlantean Steel.

Seldentar looks up in the morning as Ruri walks back in, and nods his head. "I can certainly try, what weapon would you like me to melt down. It isnt a guarantee the process will work however."

Seld nods. "Im heading out for materials, so feel free to stop by tomorrow to see what new materials I have to make things with. Should be good things coming."

Seld nods as he hears what Grim says. "The Atlantean style is actually a favorite of mine. In the real world i was obsessed with the stories and myths of the great ancient city that sunk beneath the seas. Sadly, im not really looking for light fast swords personally, I prefer my heavier blades. But they are nice for someone that wants something faster. I charge 750 col for uncommon items." Seldentar nods, looking at his gathered materials and creations. "I can't craft any more today, so if it has to be a Scimitar you will have to wait til tomorrow. For now though, I do have a curved sword I made." He takes down the Cutlass, an intricate design on the hilt. "Its called the Atlanetan Infantry Cutlass, I made this out of the same metal I make all my Atlantean items, a very fast Metal found on the third floor."

Seldentar looks up as Grim walks in. "Hey man, is everything ok?"

Seldentar places the curved sword to the side. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't anything special. He had one remaining craft attempt for the day thanks to his new level, so he picks up the metal ingot from his supply and returns to work on the item. He waits patiently for it to heat up, before moving to the work bench. He begins to carefully work the metal, waiting patiently as it begins to take shape. Daily Craft 5 of 5 Good Craft! +2 Exp
