Seldentar takes the next material, and continues his work. Placing it into the forge, he waits patiently for the metal to heat up. As it begins to glow red hot, he removes it from the furnace, and places it on the anvil with his tools. Taking his hammer, he begins to hammer out the metal, slowly forming it into shape. He nods happily. It still wasnt quite up to par, but it was getting closer.

Seldentar continues his work. Again, he begins the process of creating the item requested. However, like the last item, this one wasn't quite up to par. Still, it had some qualities to it so he put it aside for Zelrius as well, before going back to work on the next attempt.

  3. Seldentar continues his work. Taking the next material, he continues to work on the requested item. As the metal finally takes shape, he nods slightly. Better quality then last time, but still not up to the order put in. Still, he put it aside, customer supplied the mats so it was all his when it was said and done.

  4.  Seldentar gets the request from Zelrius, and after returning from the meeting, goes to work. Taking the first material, he begins the smithing process. Hammering out the metal, he frowns as its completed. Not aweful, but no where near acceptable.

  5. Seldentar had heard they were planning a boss fight, and after wandering around for a while, finally found where he had heard they were planning. Adjusting his coat, he walked up to the door, knocking before entering. Looking around the room, he recognized a few people from the last fight. Clearing his throat, he turned to those gathered.

"Hello there. I'm here to offer my services for the upcoming fight if you have any slots left. I'm level 25, with maxxed out one handed skill use."

    He turns to zelrius.

" I got your crafting request, ill be making the attempts as soon as I get back to Urbus."

  6. Seldentar frowns, looking at the last remaining item he had crafted. He sighs, putting it aside. He had a lot of salvaging to do, and he figured he would get something out of it later.

"Ill use one of my materials for now, and salvage this one later."

He begins the familiar process of forging a weapon, smashing his hammer repeatedly into the metal, focusing on what he needed. slowly but surely, it begins to form and take shape.

Seldentar again tries to create a new weapon. Like before however, the results were subpar. He shakes his head sadly.

"Ill have to try to salvage the materials from these. They just arent up to the quality yours is.

Seldentar begins the process of salvaging. Tapping the first spear with his hammer, he activates the smithing menus. Scrolling through them, he selects Salvage Materials. The spear begins to glow, brighter and brighter, until exploding in a flash of light, leaving nothing behind.

Seldentar nods, and begins to work. Taking the first material, he begins the long process. As his hammer smashes down on the metal, each swing causes it to form. Finally, after numerous swings, the weapon begins to take shape. The two handed assault spear forms, although a quick check reveals no inherent properties.

"Sorry, it looks nice, but not quite up to par. But I can try again if you want."

  9. Seldentar looks over the item, nodding.

"Im guessing this was a monster drop from its name. Not bad for the lower floors. But yeah, the game is dangerous, you have to be careful. Enough people have died, we don't need any more."

    He looks behind him.

"If you have mats, I can try to make something superior to that."

  10. Seldentar looks around a bit confused. He had tidied the shop up a bit, but he still had not bothered moving to a better building yet. Still, he supposed it was the amount of items on display, even if most were just normal quality, that had confused her. He shakes his head.

"No need to leave, I am located on floor 2 for a reason. My name is Seldentar, is there something in particular you were looking for?"

  11. Seldentar was lounging on the cot in the back room when he heard the door open. It wasn't him that got up first, but Shadow. The small black haired fox jumped up onto the counter, looking at the newcomer. Seldentar sits up, looking out. He was tired, but a customer was clearly waiting for him. Plus, he really didnt have time to relax with a boss fight on the horizon. He stands up, walking over to the counter, scratching behind Shadows ears.

"Hello there. How can i help you?"

  12. Seldentar walks up, recognizing Daeron from previous boss fights. Back in the day, this guy had a bit of a reputation, so he was happy to see Daeron trying to seek redemption. He makes sure he has his combat gear equipped, before speaking.

"Hello Daeron. I was happy to hear you are seeking redemption, and I will help you in any way I can in this endeavor.

He looks anyone else that walks up over, taking a look at peoples gear. He knew that Daeron was a smith like himself, and was more then likely decked out. It was the younger players, those who had only recently started working on their levels that he was concerned about.

  13. Seldentar approaches the girl, looking as her name popped up. He had been in contact via PM, but so far had not met her. She had been making quite a name for herself as a Guild Leader, and rumor had it she was joining the Assault Teams. He shakes his head as memories of the past team members surfaced. There was no time to dwell on the past, they had to work together to keep moving forward. He smiles, extending his hand.

"Hello there. Its nice to meet you. So, what brings us to this god forsaken floor? I tend to avoid it at all costs, I REALLY hate the heat."

  14. Seldentar relaxes, leaning against a building until Lessa gets back to him. Standing up and stretching his shoulders, he looks at the coordinates she provided. Not too far of a walk. He begins to head through the strange desert town, until he reaches the edge of the safe zone. Drawing his sword from his back, he holds it down, not aggressively, just at the ready. He begins to look around for the girl he was supposed to meet. There hadn't been much maverick activity he had heard, so he figured it was probably safe. Still, better to be on guard just in case he reasoned.

  15. Seldentar appears in a flash of blue light on the fifth floor, looking around. It had been a long time since he was here, he had stopped in briefly during his hunt for a rumored stranger. Over a month now he had looked, avoiding contact with everyone until recently. Shrugging his shoulders, he moves forward, sending a message to Lessa that he was on the floor and ready to go.

  16. Seldentar shakes his head.

Its an old weapon I made a long time ago, I have no need for it. It can help you survive in this crazy world though.

He turns his head, noticing Zelrius down the hill.

Just remember, you are only as strong as you allow yourself to be. Equipment can help, but its not always enough. You need the will to survive to make it in this world.

He starts to walk down the hill, having heard stories of Zelrius from his former guild mates. While being a PKer, he hadn't heard about Zelrius doing anything maverick related in some time, and now that he was trying to lead an assault on a boss, he had hoped to run into him.

Hello Zelrius, its been a while. Last time I saw you, we were fighting the Floor 8 Boss.

  17. Seldentar turns, looking back at the new player behind him. He hadn't been able to contact his guild members. So many people were missing. But even with the assault teams collapse people were still out there, fighting, trying to survive. His eyes narrow, studying the boy behind him. Raising his hand, a second sword materializes in its sheath in front of him. He throws it backwards at the boy.

If you want to survive your going to need something better then that starter sword.

  18. Seldentar had been away for a while, but with an impending boss fight, and the former assault teams largely missing, he knew that it was time to get back to work. He began the process of reopening his shop, getting it organized and taking stock of his remaining items and materials. Nodding satisfied, he then grabs an ingot of metal, and begins going to work. Sliding through his inventory, he equips his Scorched Ambition, and Glacier Hammer, and begins to hammer out the metal.

  19. Seldentar stands on a hill just outside of Urbus, looking across the fields. It had been a long time since he had shown himself, having been out training privately. His coat blows in the breeze as his familiar sits at his feet, the small black fox curled up. His former looks of happiness were gone, having been isolated for so long. His blood red sword was strapped to his back. Slowly, he starts to walk down the hill, Shadow jumping up to follow him.

  20. Seldentar sat on a hill top overlooking Urbus on floor 2. He stared out at the town, his mind lost in thought. So much had happened in this Death Game, and he had been fighting for quite some time now. But it was all starting to catch up to him, the realization of how long they had been in here. And he was starting to feel overwhelmed. He wanted to get out of here, he wanted to see the end of this game. But he was already starting to lose focus on that end goal. Life here was becoming normal, and he wasn't sure how long it would be before people started to fully give up, and accept this as their real life.
