  1. Kirito nodded and ran forward. "Switch!" He didn't move fast enough though, and the boar took notice of him. It jumped out of the way and Kirito staggered forward, his blade hitting the ground and bringing up dirt as he regained his stance. "Gah... Asuna, your move!"

    ★About☆

    • Yui is a lonely orphan girl who had been abandoned on the doorstep of an orphanage at a very young age. She never knew why however... or what she had done to ever be unwanted by her own blood. She had grown up an isolated girl, who never knew how to communicate with others, and with a heart of glass, she was easily hurt by how insensitive others were to her. She'd want to play with the others at school, but they've always excluded her from the crowd. Slowly she'd get used to being lonely, and would carry a small rabbit around with her and call it "Usagi-chan", a fake friend to accompany her and "talk" with her. A girl with many strange habits, she'd be recognized as, by the elders and visitors who stopped by the Sakuragi Orphanage. Because of that she was never adopted, due to her being "unlike the rest of them all".

Lately, she had heard rumors of a strange MMORPG game that been recently released to public known as <>, a game that is known to be a realistic one that functioned by sending false images through the mind, creating almost an alternate universe. "B-But how?!" she'd think with awe struck eyes. A new world? She loved new and fascinating things, and a game like this could give her a chance to make new friends... if anyone would accept her anyways. And so Yui, had put that software to the top of her wishlist, hoping to one day enter that amazing world. And things got better when the orphanage had bought the game and set it up in the living room. Her eyes had been glued to that nervegear, and she wouldn't let anyone touch it! Not even the bigger bullies. She was the first to reach the nervegear and place it on her head, entering into a world she never knew was a death game. The lost little girl... would she be alone in a world like this? What would she do then? Now it was a fight for survivial, not the quest for friendship and true happiness.

    ★Virtues☆

    • ☯Cheerful☯: Yui is a very happy-go-lucky and upbeat girl, despite how lonely she is. She likes to push it all aside and look at the brighter parts of life. She'll dream of a day where she'll have a real friend who'll always stick beside her, and will stop at nothing when sadness comes. She despises all things gloomy and depressing, and will try her best to keep up an air of optimism and cheeriness. She'll try her best to cheer up others who are down as well. Yui tends to read far too much childrens stories, so her head is filled with little quotes of joy to silliness of every kind. If you are ever looking for positive company, then she is the right person to go to. Now turn that frown upside down!

☯Caring☯: She has the heart of gold, and is always concerned about others wellbeing, even if she doesn't know them that well. She can't stand seeing others hurt or lonely, and she'll do anything to help them get better. She shows great sympathy for others, and is all about others before herself. One day in the real world she had been hurrying to get back home after a day at the park, and Mrs. Ruki had been far ahead of her with Aya, Rutia, and Daichi... they were so far away from her it was hard to keep up with them. The chirp of a helpless bird was heard from high up a tree, the poor animal trapped and tangled. She couldn't just leave the poor thing there, even if it meant being lost alone in the big world. Yui climbed up the tree with all her might and carefully undid the twigs and vines that caged the bird, watching with bright eyes as it spread its wings and soared freely. She's the type of person who would stop in her tracks to do anything that would help bring a good cause.

☯Creative☯: Yui is the most creative person you will ever meet... at least of her age that is. She's always making up words that only she would use, due to their level of absurdity. Her interests aim towards invention and crafting, therefore creating something new and useful is a hobby she has grown accustomed to within this world. She is fascinated by the art of craftsmanship, and at her age, people find it odd for her to have such dreams for this sort of thing. This however is a good trait in her, for she is capable of brainstorming new yet resourceful creations, helping her in battle situations and times where resources are limited. Grab something nearby and think up a storm! Creation at its very finest...

    ★Flaws☆

✕Sensitive✕: Yui is an extremely emotional one, and as you have heard before, she has a heart of glass. A single word out of another's mouth that is offensive can bring her self esteem or mood down, and will often make her more distant from a certain person who might have happened to say that to her. You'd think this is childish, but after all she IS a child anyways. If hurt badly enough she might even throw a fit and start crying, causing quite the ratchet until she calms down. I wouldn't recommend being an asshat because she tends to get rather annoying on purpose, secretly testing out another's tolerance, while drowning her eyes out from the offense.

✕Shy✕: Yui is a very timid and clumsy girl, who often trips over everything and causes a cacophony when around strangers of any kind. She'll fumble with her hands and panic, often causing an awkward situation. And when it usually comes to combat, she chickens out and feels conscious about whether or not she's fighting right, or if she's actually not making a fool of herself, and might even step out during combat and pull off an indecisive attitude. Her bright brown eyes averted away from others, staring down at the ground. However if she happens to gain the confidence again, she'll be up and ready for some real combat. But generally, she's an insecure clutz who tends to shy out at the most unexpected of moments. During a battle eh...? Good luck dealing with that!

✕Daydreamer✕: Yui always has her head in the clouds, imagining situations and slowly distorting them, thinking of many ways to twist a situation around. For example a unicorn crashing a wedding?! That's only a few of her delusional thoughts, however she is always zoning off, making it hard to get her attention with her concentration rate. At worst case scenario's, she might happen to zone off during a battle or serious conversation, making it quite the pestering flaw indeed. However sometimes she may think of things that disturb her, for example if she happens to run across a child holding her mother and fathers hands, she'll think of how she doesn't have parents and cry. It's really unfortunate, for it could either bring her mood down or simply make her a hard person to cooperate with.

✕Stubborn✕: Yui isn't one who necessarily follows orders given to her. She'll tend to do WHATEVER she feels like doing in her own leisure. She has a rebellious side to her that refuses to do certain things or comply to a rule. This makes things hard when trying to make her back down on a decision and such. She'll flat out reply with a "NO", making the one who is trying to get her to obey in quite the adverse situation. Often when she rebels, she is put into a series of dangerous events, that tend to put her life on the line. This stubbornness could range from annoying and disturbing to fatal and dangerous. She also has quite an erratic behavior to wrap the present. Ehehe...

    ★IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT YUI☆

    [NOTE]

  3. She smiled and nodded waiting for him to go in first, then call in a switch and fall back hoping that she was getting this all right. Her notebook hadn't been in her inventory, so she couldn't write all of the complicatedness down. She could only hope she could get it all right on her first try. Wanting to succeed in front of her Hero, and not let him down. "Aye, Captain Kirito!" She confirmed with a bright attitude, waiting for her cue to be called. As she equipped her Rapier and it materialized into her hands, getting into a sprinting position and readying herself for when her cue was called. It was a mere starter weapon, but it was good... For now. "Into positioning, captain. I'm on your four. Call 'switch' when you're ready!" She spoke hoping that he'd not attempt to kill the boar alone.

    Asuna - 7/7

    Kirito - 11/11

    Boar - 2/2

  4. Kirito blinked and then shrugged. "Well, whatever suits you." He said, starting to walk towards the main gate of town, assuming Asuna was tailing him. "So to get this done efficiently and effectively, we should fight boars away from the town, and then survey the area for fruits while we fight our way back." He said, his eyes scanning the landscape as they stepped out of the town. And of course, boars were visible not too far off. Only two walked around, sniffing the ground. "Alright, do a quick attack to draw their attention and then I'll go in with a power attack." Kirito said, looking to Asuna.

  5. She smiled at Kirito glad that he agreed. Accepting the request she giggled at the idea of HER leading. Her directions where horrible, and she could barely kill a wolf-- of course she felt that Kirito had to lead! "Hey, I'm not the hero around here! I was the one who got saved, silly!" She replied with her emotions happier then how she'd feel around others which was more shy, and conserved. She felt that she could just let it all out when she was around Kirito. Though she hadn't completely let him gain trust-- not yet. But when she would give him all her trust-- he could wait...

  6. Kirito blinked at how quickly she decided the entire day. It was overall sounding good, and they could probably find everything they needed around the outside of the town walls. "Well, sound's fine with me." He said, his voice sounding indifferent either way. "We could start with fighting some boars, and if we find fruit along the way, then that makes it easier on our part." He said, turning 180 degrees and then sending a party request to Asuna. "You want to lead?"

  7. She smiled and nodded to Kirito. "Will do, but first... I need the supplies to do such a thing as this. "materials" if you will." She spoke with a sweet smile before thinking about what animals she could kill to get the proper supplies to make sandwiches and the strawberry water. "On our way here there was that pack of boars, remember? We could collect the materials and make some sandwiches at some sort of apartment, and collect the col for buying some drinks! Or we could also collect fruit for juice making at hope as well." She suggested with another smile, planning out the rest of the day practically. Hoping that Kirito would go along with her plan.

  8. He sighed as he returned to what he was doing. Material came from his inventory and he started hitting the material to form anything. He perked a brow as it started to form into light armor. Oh man, he was successful! It looked like a pair of gauntlets. Light metal of course and he grinned as he studied them.

  9. Kirito looked it over one last time before closing his menu. No way that would fly in the real world. But then again, Sword Art Online was unmonitored by all outside peers. Anyone could be whatever they wanted to be in here, and have to repercussions in their real life. That was an easy answer to this large "Maverick" problem, but an all-out death match in a cage was still quite an atrocity.

  10. How was this even a thing? He clicked the ad and it expanded, showing the full page. He read through the words it said on the front. Two players are pitted against each other in the cage of insanity. Winners are showered with prizes, losers lose their life in the match. Brutal. Either way, this didn't seem like Kirito's kind of crowd.

  11. He looked at it for a bit. A small bar beneath all the menus. It was an advertisement. Most players use ads to promote guilds, or ask for escort through a dungeon they don't think they can handle. But this one was different. "Underground Fight Night?" He read aloud, seeing an image of two player fighting in the middle of a cage, thorns all over the inside.

  12. Kirito went over numbers in his mind as rapidly as he could think, planning the most effective way to get stronger. "I can live without lunch and sweep a floor for exp and col, and I can send the occasional PM to Asuna and Klein..." He said, doing small math motions with his hand in the air. By complete accident, he brought down his menu. He was about to close it, when something caught his eye.

  13. Kirito side-stepped as fast as he could to avoid the tendril, it whipped past his face and snapped at the air, originally hoping to have lashed the swordsman. Kirito staggered back slightly from his sudden movement and then regained his foot hold, eyeing the Nepent for another attack.

    Kirito: 9/9

    <> 5/5

  14. Kirito ran over to it while running the tip of his sword across the ground. All he had to do was swipe up some dirt, blind the creature, and then land a solid hit to start off the battle. But as he ran, he felt a vibration move up his sword arm. Something was... Beneath the ground? In the blink of an eye, a vine launched from below and raced towards Kirito.

    Kirito: 9/9

    <> 5/5

  15. He walked a little further and then came to an opening in the woods. It was much darker, and the light must have transitioned while Kirito was thinking to himself. He walked slowly, taking time to take in the field around him. He drew his sword from the sheath at his back and slowly turned 360 degrees, looking all around for any signs of the <>. And as he had hoped, he saw one twenty feet away.

  16. Kirito did question why the game was meant to kill as he walked. Was Kayaba insane? Perhaps he was looking for some form of god-like status. That would make sense, seeing as to what he said during the announcement. "My goal has already been accomplished. To control this world and intervene in it." Saying it aloud, Kirito was able to assume that was Kayaba's goal of SAO. To achieve a god-like state.

  17. He walked casually, no monsters were ever at the entrance. So he could just enjoy a forest walk for the moment's time. He looked above him, seeing the sun leak through spots in between the brush above him, as the wind sent a gentle breeze across the forest, making the trees blow and bob in the wind slowly. "It's really a shame this whole game is meant to kill me..."

  18. Kirito clicked <> on the quest he had been offered. If his memory served him right, the <> was a strict improvement over his current sword. Taking this quest before any other was a smart move, since it's reward was a long-term investment for the future. "No to go find the Nepent." He said, looking into the woods.

  19. Kirito kept walking as the thoughts loomed in his head. It was fine. All he had to do was remain solo. Then he would be safe. He kept on his way and the Town of Beginnings became smaller and smaller behind him as he put more space in between. "All I have to do is just train. Train as much as I can."

  20. Kirito then got a scary thought. 'What if a Maverick comes after me..?' It was a possible. Very possible. Beta testers were not very welcome in the eyes of Aincrad. Of course, Kirito would go around claiming he was the best to draw attention from all other Beta Testers. If this is what Kirito had to do break the cycle of distrust, then he would do it.

  21. As Kirito walked, he pondered what the world of swords had come too. Nothing more than a large scale match of survival. And with these new threats who called them selves... Mavericks..? Just a guess, but that's what he thought they called themselves. And they had some form of leadership named Vile. Kirito would have taken to going after him, but that wasn't his goal. He would clear the floors, and he was sure that another player was already after the threat.

  22. Kirito shifted the weight of the sword on his back and he looked at the boars walking by. Yes, they were good for starters, but he didn't exactly like to think of himself as a starter. He did remember a few good spots for fight farther out in the fields that had larger boars. Tougher, but more Experience.

  23. Kirito then took a glance at the drop he had gotten. 1... Truffle? Well, he couldn't go ahead and eat it the way it was. He could probably ask Asuna to cook it into something, but she was probably bust at the moment anyway. The most Kirito could do now was get into another fight with another <>.
