The strike from the sword making the third sealion screech in pain made the other two a lot more wary of Rosie, aiming for her right away... Rolling again at an incredible speed, both sealions now steeled their fangs as the third one did the same... Showing their fangs fully, the three sealions lunged their fangs at Rosie, seeing a flash of monochrome fly past their AI eyes...

A brute force knocking them away, the sealions looked at their center as the monochrome person now revealed her silver wings in their full splendor before tucking them back and anchoring them at her front... "Are you alright, Rosie?"

Catching Rosie as the sealion group got back together, Hikari got her friend back on her feet and readied her sword once again... "Alright, you're kinda sorta pissing me off now, suckers..." A grin appearing on her face, Hikari cracked her neck and got into position, aiming still for the one with the lowest health... Jumping forward to imitate a video game, Hikari tried to bring her sword down on the opponent and stand on one knee as she held her shield to her side, a move performed by a famous character from what many consider the best video game of all time...

Landing by her target, Hikari rolled away immediately, not doing any damage... Jumping back suddenly, Hikari ran as soon as she landed back by Rosie's side, where she could protect her... Readying her shield, Hikari signaled her friend to stay right behind her, raising her shield in opposition to the sealions...

The group's attention still turned towards Rosie, the sealions got into a triangular position, the third one with the lowest health being slightly off center from the other two... Rolling away in unison, all three would attempt to crush Rosie from three sides, two coming from the diagonal and one from right in front... Getting into their positions, the sealions curled up and started rolling towards their target, their AI fixated only on one person...
Combat Dice - 6 - Success! - 1 damage to Primrose
Their trajectories slightly off target, the two diagonal travelling sealions deviated from their course and bumped into each other, missing Rosie entirely... though the same could not be said for the third, having hit her straight up front, knocking her into Hikari.

»History:
Born to a high-class family, Yukia Kurogane was the third in line to inherit the Kurogane clan’s power in Fuyuki city. The Kurogane lineage is only half of the imperial family in Fuyuki, with the Arisato clan providing the second half. Yukia had a very strict life, being homeschooled and only allowed to play once she finished all the work she had to do. Yukia was always at odds with the Arisato clan’s youngest daughter, seeing her as a sort of rival. When the Arisato clan fell out of grace and became a simple Japanese family, Yukia’s previously planned arranged marriage to the Arisato’s youngest son simply broke apart, much to her content, as she had realized her sexual orientation years before, when she was only 9. Continuing to live in Fuyuki until she finished college at 19, Yukia lived as the madam of the Kurogane house after her father died of old age. Deciding to track down Rita and finally settle her odds with her, Yukia travelled to Kyoto and bought SAO and the Nerve Gear once she heard Rita had done the same, planning to use the game as a means to settle the score. Yukia’s history with Rita is sour, as Rita hated her for rejecting her brother, implying she felt the Arisato family wasn’t good enough to marry into the Kurogane’s. Rita’s hatred subsided as they got to know each other, same with Yukia, even becoming friends at one point and eventually best friends. After the Arisato’s exile and loss of power, Yukia was devastated and even tracked down Rita, managing to speak with her a few times, only for the friendship to break apart as Rita still bore resentment for Yukia rejecting her brother, something that made Yukia resent her for still harboring hate for her after all these years. Now in SAO, Yukia’s goal is to settle the score with Rita, though not going as far as to kill her. Kuro isn't afraid of the death game, she thinks a game you can freely die in is way too boring and non-challenging for her. Kuro is a black belt in Taekwondo and doesn’t use a weapon, instead using punches and kicks as her main form of attack.

Yukia was thought by the best teachers around and is incredibly smart, able to resolve a complicated equation in a few minutes, maybe less. Yukia makes almost no use of this trait, however as she prefers to think with her fists, not her head. While incredibly intelligent, Yukia isn’t smart at all, often walking into trouble while left unattended, lacking the common sense to see trouble due to her sheltered life.
Righteous:
Like Rita, Yukia always had a strong sense of justice and was always eager to help someone, though her methods were far from good as she expected adequate compensation in return for her help, making her seems egotistical and selfish, while in truth, she just wanted people to know the price for her help, as she usually kept it to simple things.
Cultured/Extremely Good Memory:
Being born to a high-class family, Yukia is naturally well-versed in the common and uncommon knowledge of history, culture and events, being able to describe World War II (or any important event in the history of the world, for that matter) accurately from memory, event by event, not missing a single detail.
Elegant and Beautiful:
As the first daughter of a noble house, Yukia is naturally very elegant and her facial features can only be described as beautiful, leading to many proposals from many families for one of their sons to take her hand, even though she’s a lesbian and such a thing would be impossible.
Perfectionist:
Much like Rita, Yukia can’t leave something unfinished unless it’s perfect, going to great lengths and stressing herself out over minor things that must be done absolutely perfectly for her, including making her maids use a very specific order of arrangement set by her so that everything is done perfectly with no errors, something many people despise about her.
Strategist:
Due to her intelligence, Yukia is a natural born strategist and can normally come up with a plan for anything, effectively being able to save herself at any situation. Her plans are complex, include alternate orders and can even be compared to some of the greatest military strategists of all history. This knowledge was actually passed down through her family, who taught her about Sun Tzu and his brilliant strategies through the Art of War. She eventually got more interested in strategy and began playing video games such as Nobunaga’s ambition, yearning to be more like Hideyoshi Toyotomi, Nobunaga Oda’s strategist.

Arrogant:
Due to her status, she thinks of herself as a queen and almighty ruler, finding other people below her at all times. This arrogance is what gets her into so much trouble, particularly with men who don’t like being insulted... though she usually resolves these problems using her fists.
Hot-headed:
Kuro is way too reckless and hot-headed for her own good, often charging in to be the first to get a hit off or maybe get the last hit bonus item. This characteristic of hers makes it so she can’t stay still for very long so she’s always either questing or grinding.
Naive:
Kuro doesn’t really understand how to judge a person and will most always believe someone no matter what... unless it’s a clear enemy of hers, that is. This trait usually gets her into a lot of trouble, mostly with gangs or perverts, though she beats all of them up in no time if they try to do anything to her...
Foulmouthed:
Kuro is rude, very much so. She won’t let anyone get her way over hers and will usually respond in kind when someone insults her. Kuro swears constantly, (OOC: so much so, all her RPs probably need to be in Unrestricted... xD) something that makes her come off as unapproachable and unfriendly, something she really isn’t.
Superiority complex:
Kuro thinks she’s better than everyone else but she doesn’t let that stop her from being kind and inflicting justice on everyone she meets, though her kindness is very odd... Due to her upcoming and life, Kuro thinks of herself first and foremost, often requiring others repay her for her help or even saying “I’ll give you the honour of being my friend!†while meeting someone.
Merciless:
Though kind to most everyone, Kuro is a ruthless and merciless killer to both monsters and people who she deems as enemies, particularly Rita, though they usually match strength. Her ruthlessness is supreme over anything as she kills without any regard to life, instead pounding her fists on the enemy until it’s reduced to a pulp... literally...

Readying her sword yet again, Hikari charged forward as fast as possible, trying to hit the sealion with the lowest health. Jumping forward in a flash, Hikari's sword shone a deep purple tone, indicating the charging of a skill that, while basic, could still inflict a very powerful amount of damage thanks to her sword... Landing just in front of the group, Hikari unleashed the skill immediately, targeting the middle sealion, the one she identified as having the lowest health.

The skill was released too soon, as the group of blobs dispersed and rolled away, making Hikari plummet straight into the lake behind them, getting herself soaking wet in the process. "Damn you..." Her eyes now filled with hatred for the blobs, Hikari could not let this go. Charging forward once more, Hikari jumped over the fat creatures and back to Rosie's side, still soaking wet. "D-dangit.... I'm f-f-freezing..." Rolling back quickly, Hikari took off her armor and re-equipped it, making it dry again. "Much better..." Getting back up, she readied her shield, making it so she was between Rosie and the sealions.

Due to their AI, the sealions immediately noticed another of their group being hit. Both of the remaining ones charging after Rosie, the first sealion missed and rolled over in the opposite direction of the group while the second hit Rosie straight on, causing her to take a hit of damage in the process, though not knocking her down. Rolling away as fast as possible, the sealions regrouped and stood in front of the party, ready for another round.

Shaking her head, Silica waved her hands in front of her after putting her dagger back on her belt. "N-no, I'm sure you'll be better than me, Mitoko-san..." A bead of cold sweat rolling down her face, Silica answered Mitoko's question to the best of her knowledge... "Well... I'm supposed to get 5 cooking materials... maybe we should move to stronger monsters?" Shrugging, Silica waited for Mitoko to answer, as she herself had only started a few days ago... Silica hoped Mitoko could guide her somewhat as she didn't know what to do alone...

Stopping her legs as instructed, Silica tried to pull herself out after the unknown girl cut off a few branches, succeeding after just a little push. "Th-thanks a lot, miss! I owe you my life!" Running up to her, Silica's eyes shined bright as she picked up the girl's hands and swung them up and down in gratitude. "How can I ever repay you?!" Silica's pink-ish brown eyes were still lined with tears, this time of joy at her savior. "Can I at least know the name of my heroine?" Silica's hand swing stopped there as her entire body convulsed with excitement and gratitude, simply looking at her rescuer in the eyes with a starry smile on her face.

Dodging the boar's attack swiftly, Silica readied her dagger once more, hoping to use the skill successfully this time... Charging towards the boar after getting up from the ground, Silica slung her main arm back, causing her dagger to shine a deep purple, the mark of the basic sword skill «Linear». "Gwaaaa!" A battle shout emerging from her mouth, the little girl's eyes were focused on the boar until the last second, when she closed them, hoping for a good hit...

The dagger piercing the head of the boar, it dug straight through it, ripping the entire beast in two with a massive critical hit. "H-huh...? I-I... did it?" Opening up her eyes again, Silica turned to the boar, seeing it crash and disappear into a mess of blue polygons that splattered outward in every direction. Relief overcoming her, Silica dropped to her knees, giving out a sigh...

Having the first little girl miss made the boar quite aware of both of them, resulting in the second little girl missing too... Its anger more piqued towards the smaller of the two, the beast charged at her, hoping to rip her armor off and ram her to pieces... its intention was not satisfied, as the girl dove to the side and evaded its simple charge, an action that made the boar even more furious.

Running past everything, Silica simply HAD to run, to chase, whatever was in front of her and continuing to run, chase, whatever... "CHICKEN!" Screaming loudly at this being when she saw it, Silica gave chase... for more than an hour... Continuing to chase it, Silica found herself diving under a bush and getting stuck, seeing as the chicken ran away again and losing its track. "Ahh! Noooo!" Her eyes now wet with small tears, Silica tried to pull herself out only to become even more stuck... "Hnng... Hnng! Awww...." Through all her efforts, Silica still couldn't pull herself out, only barely moving in the thick bush... "Oh no... is someone there...? Help!" Waving her legs about, Silica waited for help that perhaps would never come... until she heard footsteps from behind her...

Sweetening her smile at Mitoko's answer, something even the gods thought impossible, Silica drew her dagger and moved towards the field to a small pack of boars, finding one that was well isolated from the group. "Okie then, Mitoko-san! Let's get this boar's meat!" Her face now becoming more determined, Silica prepared to charge at the boar, her dagger giving off a radiant purple glow as the basic skill "Linear" was about to be released on the poor boar. "Hy-yaah!" Charging forward with a small cry, Silica closed her eyes as the blade supposedly hit the boar.

Jumping back a bit, Silica hoped Mitoko could at least hit the boar once...

Sensing the girl's uncomfortableness, Silica gave her a smile and turned the pinkette's head towards her own. "It's alright, it's just the two of us here right now!" Giving her an even bigger smile, the almond-haired girl offered a piece of advice to Mitoko. "You're shy, aren't you? Just pull your hood over your head, like this!" Pulling her own to demonstrate that it covered her entire head, including her face, of which only the mouth was visible, Silica lifted it again, making her hair a bit messy. "Like that, no-one will recognize you and you can go around worry-free!" Speaking from experience, running away from the creepy stalkers from before, Silica was certain this ability was fail-proof! "I guess it's like a, um... oh, a «Disguise» skill!" Giggling at the skill she just made up, Silica remembered the quest she was on, having to gather some materials to make a meal. "Alrighty then, Mitoko-san! Will you help me out in becoming a chef?" Once again giving out a sweet smile, Silica put her hands behind her back, waiting for the girl's answer.

Deciding it was nothing important, Silica turned around to inspect her inventory, something she still hadn't done despite the game having started long ago... "Um... let's see...." The inventory was pretty much empty besides a few loaves of bread and a bit more water bottles. "U-um... that should be fine..." Closing up her HUD now, the almond-haired girl felt something knock against her, throwing her off-balance and making her fall to the ground. "W-waaa!" Giving a slight yelp at the sudden force, Silica turned around to see a pink-haired girl, on the ground as well. "S-Sorry miss! It was my fault... I'm r-rather clumsy," Her eyes widening at the apology, Silica simply waved her hand in front of her while keeping the other one from revealing her underwear to the world. "N-no, it's okay! I shouldn't even have been standing in the middle of the road..." Getting up and dusting herself off, Silica extended her hand to the pink-haired girl, introducing herself in the meanwhile. "Hey, I'm Silica! What's your name?" Giving out the sweetest smile she could muster, Silica waited for the girl to take her hand so she could pull her up to her feet.

Stopping at Rosie's warning, Hikari drew her sword again, directing herself towards the monsters. "Good eyes, Rosie, let's go!" Charging forward towards the monsters, Hikari propelled herself to the air, jumping at the nearest one.

Landing just by the thing, Hikari missed her strike, landing with the tip of her sword on the ground. "Gah, dammit... Rosie, your turn!" Warning her friend before jumping back to pull the sword out, Hikari readied her shield for the attack onslaught that was about to happen.

Sheathing her sword after the fat ugly beast vanished into tiny little triangles, Hikari turned to Rosie, answering her question. "Yeah... but it wasn't too much of a problem to deal with." Pointing at her health bar, making Rosie notice neither of theirs dropped a single hit point. "Good job there, let's continue further!" Warning Rosie to walk with her, Hikari began moving forward, deeper into the floor. "If you find some more sealions, let me know, we can take two or three at a time." Saying it so her friend wouldn't worry, Hikari simply walked deeper and deeper into the cold horizon.

The winds on the first floor felt nice on her cheek, a cool breeze blowing gently around the city, especially where she was, atop the wall, a few meters from the ground. "Ahh... this feels so nice..." After a tiresome day of running away from stalkers, the almond-haired girl just wanted to relax a bit, maybe complete a quest or two... Getting down from the wall, the girl walked over to the quest board, noticing a post on it that greatly interested her. "«Earning a Living» NPC Locations" Reading the section well, she decided to find the NPC to train her to be a cook, figuring that was probably the safest choice. Walking around a bit and keeping her cowl over her head to keep her from being noticed, the girl reached one of the town's entrances, noticing the NPC named simply "The Chef". "Ah, excuse me! Um, mister Chef, can you teach me how to cook, please?" The NPC having noticed a talk being directed at it, about his quest no less, he turned around to the girl, his AI making it say her name while he talked, a deep, scruffy voice escaping his old mouth. "But of course, «Silica», I'll teach you everything there is to know!" An HUD appearing on front of Silica, the almond-haired girl accepted the quest, requiring her to get five of any type of cooking material and cook them into anything she wanted. "Alright, I'll do my best!" Running out of town, Silica dropped her hood and turned to the entrance again, noticing a slight shade of pink from the gate's edge...

A usually cheerful and upbeat girl, Keiko was always regarded as a sort of idol by others due to her beauty and character, leading to many people having confessed to her before. Her name is derived from the fourteenth element in the periodic table, silicon, due to her father continuing his tradition as a chemist to name his children after elements, starting with her brother, Tetsuhiko Ayano, named after the 26th element, iron ("tetsu" in Japanese), him being born on the 6th of February, resulting in the 6th day of the 2nd month, 2 and 6 being combined into 26, giving out the element iron. Due to the 104th element being impossible to use for a girl's name (Rutherfordium), her father instead summed 10 and 4 to get 14, silicon ("keiso" in Japanese). Silica is always cheerful even in this situation but she loses her cool when fighting or sensing danger, often having her not even try or giving up too soon. She avoids males most of the time, knowing most would try to marry her despite her age, though she parties a lot and is usually considered a mascot for the party, most of the time not having to do anything, something that makes her mad and feel useless.

Silica is very cute and cheerful, an attitude that earns her most every male's adoration for her while resulting in jealousy by most females. She is like this by nature as she was always mostly cheerful, even before entering the death game. She also is physically attractive, having a pretty face and a cute figure, making her popularity rise even more.
»Supportive:
Silica is always there to help out one way or another and is always trying to do her best to be useful to everyone. This makes her mad when people don't let her act since she feels useless and unappreciated. She also can't stand watching anything die except monsters, often using her Feathery Dragon, Pina, heal anyone in her party who has even just lost a bit of health.
»Kindhearted:
She's always cheerful and caring to others, a natural attitude of hers. Silica can't stand to see someone sad and will always try and help the best she can, even if it means sacrificing herself. She likes helping new players get started and even can give some money to new shops to help them out.

Being treated as an idol by pretty much everyone she meets, Silica began to develop an ego and thinks that if one party doesn't want her, there are plenty others who do. While she feels that she can get anybody she wants, she also hates the fact that everyone wants her, though that doesn't help her reduce her ego.
»Weak-willed:
Silica hates fighting and usually doesn't really try. She also normally can't handle taking a single bit of damage, panicking immediately. Silica can't fight alone, even with Pina by her side and she usually stands back while her party handles the danger, often coming in to help out a bit before returning to the side-lines. She hates this part of herself too as she doesn't want to be seen as useless by anyone.
»Easily Embarrassed:
Silica is very easily embarrassed and blushes at the slightest things, often trying to avoid a "panty shot" at all costs, warning everybody around herself not to look and desperately holding her skirt over them. Silica also gets embarrassed around men, especially ones she likes and normally can't hold a conversation without blushing even a bit.

Seeing the sealion so close to death, Hikari charged forward and jumped up, attempting to crush its skull in half like the kobolds in the first floor tried to do to her before. The whiskers on the sealion's snout much resembled those in the miners' ones, giving Hikari an extra reason to hate these things...

Quoting a beloved strangling father from TV, Hikari jumped back, wishing to do much the same that father did to his son, except to the stupid sealion. "Switch!" Warning Rosie to finish it off, Hikari's red eyes pierced the sealion's own, doing nothing but making it so it was pinned on her for a while...

Noticing Ruri's remark, Hikari stopped drinking her cocoa too. "You do... let me fix that..." Getting up again, Hikari brought herself closer to Ruri and took a tissue package out of her inventory, using one to wipe the cream of her lip, careful to remove all of it. "There ya go!" Giggling a bit, Hikari sat back down on her side to drink the rest of her cup, feeling unsure if what she just did was right or wrong, maybe she had to have done something else... "How is it? The cocoa should be good but not as good as yours..." Continuing to drink her cup, Hikari attempted to make small talk with Ruri for now, since what happened the night before was pretty important... Waiting for Ruri's response patiently, Hikari simply sat there with a smile on her face and blushing a bit...

Giving Ruri a radiant smile, Hikari tucked the bluenette in and lied down on her futon, covering herself as much as possible to protect herself from the cold... the night was filled with thoughts of the bluenette, she was all Hikari could think of... Ruri invaded her dreams, her every other thought... but for now, all Hikari needed was some sleep...
The next morning started out much the same, except Hikari was awake first this time... going for the kitchen, Hikari grabbed what few ingredients there were and tried to make cocoa as good as Ruri's... bringing the cups of chocolaty brown liquid that hadn't mixed very well, Hikari remembered that even in real life she was never that good at making hot cocoa... "Wake up, Ruri!" After setting down the mugs on the table, Hikari gently shook Ruri awake, hoping she'd wake up soon...

Her words froze Hikari, her mind couldn't believe it but at the same time she was overjoyed... "Ruri... You... too...?" Speaking now with a serene smile on her face, Hikari broke the hug for a minute... "Ruri... I feel the same way... I... like you too but... it's more than just liking... I... think this explains it better..." Her face now coated in a red color, Hikari pulled Ruri closer to her... their faces close together, she could feel Ruri's embarrassment too... "Sorry for this..." Her face still red, reason disappeared after those words were uttered, replaced by a simple desire... Pulling Ruri even closer to her, Hikari kissed Ruri passionately, letting the sweet feeling of her lips against the bluenette's soak in for a long amount of time... Breaking apart after an incalculable time, Hikari sat across from Ruri, her face still burning but a smile planted on her face... "S-sorry about that..." A fake apology, Hikari didn't regret what she had just done a single bit... Simply staring down at her legs in embarrassment, Hikari waited for Ruri to say something, unsure of how the bluenette would reply...

A strange question but nonetheless important, Hikari answered without hesitation. "Well... if you don't mind me saying..." Hikari got up on the bed as she said this, continuing without a moment's notice. "Snowflakes are... a lot like you..." Now giving Ruri a tight hug, Hikari continued on her sentence. "I can tell... you may act cheery, but you're fragile inside... you've been hurt before, haven't you?" Feeling Ruri's warmth through their clothes, Hikari hugged her tighter, not wanting to ever let go of the bluenette, whatever the cost. "I won't let you get hurt again, Ruri, I promise..." The moment went on for ages while Hikari had no idea what she was doing... It was a simple action, really, but one that brought her great happiness... She simply stood there, hugging the bluenette, waiting for any words to come out of her mouth... A moment she was either fearing... or greatly anticipating...

Jumping forward as Rosie was about to be attacked, Hikari did a dash for the middle of the three monsters and tugged at her chest before spinning in place... the movement and gesture opened the white-haired girl's shoulder guards into a pair of metallic wings, repelling the sealions while not doing any damage... "Are you alright, Rosie?" Asking her this question before readying her sword, Hikari once again aimed for the one with the lowest health, dashing forward... her wings not having been fully tucked in, now hung freely and waved in the wind as she dashed, resembling a comet's tail... her sword now glowing a radiant purple, Hikari simply dashed forth and attempted the «Linear» Skill on this beast, hoping now to take care of it completely...

The skill piercing the monster and ripping it into two was not enough to satisfy Hikari... Turning away now from the fading existence that was the sealion just moments before, Hikari readied her shield and dashed in front of Rosie, her wings wrapping around her as she tugged them closed around her shoulders...
