  1. He had asked another question as they approach town. Rebekah responded, "Yes, there is another quest available for merchants. However, you must be level two in your profession prior to taking the quest." She knew that level two would mean a significant milestone in any person's profession in this game. Rebekah also figured that Nicklaus would finally reach level two in both fishing and appraising very soon. He would be busy for a few days, and that would give her time to take on a solo activity.

As they made their way to the teleportation gate, Rebekah finally said goodbye to her older brother. They would meet up in a few days, likely after he had done both quests. She was finally able to head back home after such a long and difficult day. This meant it was time to relax, so Rebekah finally got her bath tub ready to take a long but relaxing bath. She knew this is what she needed after spending the day out in the wilderness of Frostbite lake.

As she pondered over today's activities, she knew that both Olympus quests are relatively safe, so she did not need to worry too much. Thinking back to herself, she knew that she would soon need to go on another training mission, perhaps she should find a friend or companion to challenge a dungeon or go to mother's treasure once again. She had her eyes out on purchasing a property, so she would need every bit of gold available to finance her dream property on the twenty second floor near the famous lake.

  2. As Rebekah got to work with the dishes, she turned to Nicklaus who had caught his third treasure chest of the day. In addition, he was already able to obtain a new level immediately as he had earned rank two in fishing. "Congratulations on reaching Rank 2. Can you help me with taking down the campsite?" Rebekah asked.

Her older brother got to work as told, as he started putting away his fishing stuff and began to destroy the snow wall that was blocking the wind and taking down the shelter. It was not long that it was only the campfire left. She then turned to Nicklaus and asked, "Now that you reach level two, have you thought about taking the quest from Olympus?"

While she waited for him to read the quest notification, she looked around and they had disassembled their entire shelter. The only thing left was to put out the fire that they had created. She did that immediately, and they began making the trek back out of Frostbite lake back towards Snowfrost town. They had accomplished their goal today. Nicklaus was able to obtain rank two of his gathering skill, and she was able to spend some good family bonding time. It would not be long until they gotten back to civilization and she would finally be able to go home and take a hot bath. She deserved it after a very intense week where she had done a lot of quests. It would be time for her to relax very soon.

  3. While those words had calmed her down quite a bit, Rebekah wanted Nicklaus to promise her that he would never do that. She wanted a promise because she knew that he would never go back on his word and family always comes first. "Promise me, you will not do something stupid." Rebekah said.

She waited for his reply before going back to the fish stew that she had been cooking for the past while. It was almost done, as cooking in Aincrad had simplified a lot of the steps and wait time that it would normally take in the world. She took out a few bowls and poured some of it out to Nicklaus. She then took the other bowl and began to dig into the meal. It was delicious, as Rebekah had added some other seafood that she had purchased this morning. It tasted like a traditional chowder, but with the fresh fish that was caught on this floor. It was delicious.

It did not take long for her to finish her portion, so she began to start cleaning up, since the dishes need to be washed. To do this, Rebekah needed a bit more water, so off she went to forage in the snow to boil it into water. She realized how easy life was with clean water from a tap. Out here, she would have to boil and melt the snow each time she wanted some water. It was just not very efficient to keep doing this, but luckily, they were almost done for the day.

  4. It was finally time for Rebekah to create a fish stew. Luckily for her, she had already prepared a lot of the chopped vegetables ahead of time, and created all the broth. She was not crazy, as she knew cooking out here would be difficult without a full kitchen. Those were the things that professional chefs such as herself had gotten accustomed to, and anytime she was not in her elements, it made cooking a lot more difficult.

To begin, she decided to put the chopped ingredients into a boiling pot of water. Rebekah immediately went to find more snow nearby to melt, as she realized there was not enough liquid. As she was getting more snow, she thought she found something rare in the snow, she went over to examine it.

After putting that back into her pocket, Rebekah continue to look for ways to improve her food. It was now time for her to cut the fish and for Rebekah to add it to the stew. While she was working on that, her older brother had asked her a question. She took a second to find the words before responding, "Well, I have not seen any family members and I do not want to lose you. I know you are a reckless person, so I want to do everything I could to help you survive the first few levels, so you are a lot stronger before you jump into reckless things." Rebekah explained. That was true about her older brother, if he did stupid things such at a higher level, the margin of error would be a lot greater.

  5. Rebekah continued getting the camp ready. It was almost complete, she did not plan on staying overnight this time. Perhaps that would be next week. Their plan today was to allow Nicklaus to reach level two at fishing, and then for them to try out what worked today and what did not work. They did plan on going on a sibling bonding camping trip sometime in the near future, but this was a good set up to allow them to stay warm in the cold fourth floor.

She looked back at Nicklaus and he had already found two treasure chests, this was a lot more then she had ever found in this game. He had already picked up four new weapons to identify, which would be good for him as it will likely be a lot stronger than his current weapon that he had. She also knew that he was hesitant to identify her items until he had gotten a lot stronger since he did not want to mess up the items that she had found.

Rebekah got back to work, and started to think what she could make with the fish that he had caught on this floor. What was the perfect type of dish that would go along with the weather today. At first she thought about making some sort of seafood tower letting the seafood shine, but decided to make a stew or type of soup. It will be filling and warm at the same time. Rebekah needed extra water and continue to boil snow to melt into water.

  6. There was something about Nicklaus that was different today. Perhaps he had felt more comfortable. Rebekah could not recall the last time he was having this much success in this game. He had been trying to feel things out and had mighty struggled the last time she had saw him. This time, however, Nicklaus had acted completely different. It had felt like he was at ease with everything that was around him. He had finally settled in and was acting on instinct rather than thinking about things.

Rebekah got back to finishing up the rest of the shelter. She could tell that her older brother was a bit cold and not used to this weather. Rebekah was used to it but that did not stop her from being stationary. She knew that staying still in a cold place like this floor was always a bad idea. The idea is continually keep moving so she continue to generate body heat. Luckily, she had built the wall high enough to block enough wind from breezing past. The wind chill was no joke to deal with.

As she was doing this, Rebekah made sure to continually be on the lookout for more materials nearby. This was something that she had constantly done while setting up the tent. Rebekah hoped that she was able to find something rare today, but it seems like it will not be as easy as she thought. She prepared another pot of snow to be ready to be melted down as the first pot of snow had already melted. The water has not boiled yet, as she wanted it to be safe to drink or use.

  7. Now that the shelter was partially completed, Rebekah should now turn her focus to making a fire to stay warm. These were two of the most important things that would keep them alive in this winter wonderland. Luckily for Rebekah, Nicklaus had already began setting up a fire pit so everything was ready for her to light a fire. Rebekah had brought some matches. These were the good old fashion way of making a fire. She did not want to attempt to create friction from rubbing two pieces of wood together. Besides, that would be too cold to work.

As she was setting up the fire, she noticed Nicklaus had finally caught something. It had taken him a while but he had finally caught some fish and a treasure chest full of weapons. He would need to identify them but she realized these were likely better than the equipment that he had with himself. Hopefully, it would not be too difficult for him.

As the matches lighted up instantly, Rebekah got to work on transferring the fire into the wood and the kindling in the fire pit. It had worked immediately, as things in Aincrad were a lot easier than real life. As long as she knew the theory behind how everything works. Rebekah got back at digging up some snow into an empty pot to boil some water. That would be important for their survival, as she wanted to avoid picking up a frostbite debuff here on her home floor.

  8. As the pair of them started setting up camp, Rebekah's first thought was to start digging around in the snow to gather snow to boil into some water. They also needed to compact the snow underneath so they can set up a shelter in this cold weather. This was the minimum necessities that they required to survive. Even though, she has never done this before in the snow, Rebekah was always prepared for the worst in case of a freak snowstorm on the fourth floor.

Therefore, she had always been prepared to wait out the storm in a safe place before resuming her journey back home. Therefore, this was a rare opportunity for her to test out her survival equipment that she takes with her whenever she leaves the safety of the town in this floor. She did not want to be frozen and be killed by the environment in Aincrad. Even though it was not that cold, she knew they wanted to be prepared for the worst. Therefore, it would be important to test this out and then she can decide if she needed to upgrade her emergency survival kit with better equipment for the future.

As Rebekah was setting up a basic campsite to fish in the ice, she decided to dig around a bit more and build up a snow wall to help block some of the wind. She knew that the wind chill could make it much worse. While she was digging in the snow, Rebekah found something useful.

  9. After they had received their drinks from The Frosty Cafe, Rebekah decided that it is time to show Nicklaus around the sights and the important places in Snowfrost Town. After all, this was where they would hopefully meet up going forward. It had been hard for Rebekah to be able to spend that much time leaving her shop unattended to. Therefore, it would be important for him to have the ability to not get lost in this town. Rebekah started by explaining to Nicklaus where this cafe was in relation to the portal.

Shen then walked past her shop and told him this is where her shop is and where she was staying. She had rented a room in town but Rebekah had been looking at getting a larger place in the future. As they had kept walking, Rebekah also showed Nicklaus where some of her favourite shops are on this floor to obtain supplies. Unlike the towns on floor one, Snowfrost was a lot smaller, and therefore there were not as many shops or options. For example, the town of beginnings could have a lot of blacksmiths but this town may only have one.

This was one of the perks of living here, it was a smaller closely knit community especially since they had to struggle with the weather and the cold on a daily basis. It was finally time Rebekah lead Nicklaus out of the town and towards the frozen Frostbite Lake. It was not far from the town, so it would only take a few minutes once they had left town.

  10. Rebekah had been preparing for today's adventure since she had woken up this morning. She knew she needed to get a lot of supplies ready from a tent, supplies to make campfire, and food. One of the reasons why Rebekah had asked Nicklaus to meet her at her shop was so that he could help carry some of the supplies for her. In addition, she wanted him to try out some of her food that she sells in her shop. One of the items that she had wanted him to try were the beaver tails that she had made.

Beaver tails were a type of fried pastry where the dough is flat and thin resembling the shape of a beaver tail. It can then be topped with a variety of toppings but the most common one is a black chocolate sauce which resembled the colour of an actual beaver tail. She had thought it was delicious and wanted Nicklaus to try one out for today.

It did not take long for Nicklaus to step into her shop. Rebekah greeted her older brother, "Good Morning. Do you want to try some freshly crafted pastries that I made this morning?" Rebekah said. Rebekah handed him a beavertail to eat and consumed one herself as well.

Rebekah hands Beaver Tail 203916-2 to Nicklaus. Rebekah also consumes Beaver Tail 204960-1 (Ambition)

  11. Rebekah had slowly collected up the required Mon tokens in order to make a purchase from Mintaka's Treasury. She knew that it had taken a lot of work to collect these tokens but she had finally received enough to obtain the item that she had been dreaming about. When she had saw the list of prizes, there was one item that had stood out more than anything. This was gungir's shard. She had seen a few of the top players earning one of these a long time ago but she had always wanted to find a way to earn one for herself.

Therefore, she was happy to find this item listed as one of the rewards. Even though it would cost her almost all of her ahrd earned tokens, she knew it would be well spent. She finished browsing the rest of the rewards in the shop before walking up to make her purchase.

    Rebekah purchases Gungir's Shard.

  12. Now that Rebekah had finally made it halfway back towards the town of beginnings. She had thought about what had happened. She knew she would have to go home before she should examine the gemstone and the journal in more detail. Perhaps it was the start of many more quests. She would have to consult with a few people, perhaps some of her guild members for support. She had struggled today against a relatively simple monster, missing two of her four attacks. This was something that she would need to improve on. She knew that missing an attack happened to everyone, nobody was ever a hundred percent accurate but she wanted to strive towards perfection.

Rebekah's stomach had growled. Rebekah knew that she was starting to feel hungry. It was now the perfect time to go find a random restaurant to try out their food. She had been thinking of updating her menu in her shop but wanted to see what was popular on the other floors since she may decided to recreate that dish or try to make another type of food if the market had an oversaturation of a specific cuisine. She was going to have to do some research since being a restaurant lends itself well to getting repeat customers to visit. She just needed to stay on top of the food trends in the Aincrad. There had been a lot of popular dishes that were popular for a short period of time from what she could recall.

  13. Now that Rebekah had returned back to Fuzziel's nest. The mother dragon had healed and quickly inspected each of the six hatchlings in detail. Rebekah stood to the side and waited for the dragon to address her. She knew that Fuzziel had been worried so this was just her instinct that she was secondary and would have to wait.

After each of the hatchlings had been inspected, Fuzziel began to speak, "Thank you young adventure. I do not know how I can ever thank you for your generosity. Wait a minute." Fuzziel then walked to her pile of treasures and picked out a large gemstone. It was a topaz gemstone. "Here you go. I am giving you this as my appreciation for all your help today. You have helped me recover my babies when I was in no condition to leave." Fuzziel said.

With that said, Rebekah knew that she should now be heading out. She had said goodbye to the dragon and began making the very long walk back towards the town of new beginnings. This detour that she had made to go on a walk had turned into a quest which then lasted the whole morning.

  14. It was finally time for Rebekah to leave Carsar's nest. She had asked the hatchlings if there was an easier way to leave. They had responded and told her that there was a path leading down back into the forest. It would be faster and they did not dare leave when Carsar had taken them away.

Knowingly this, Rebekah had the hatchlings lead the way so that she could follow them down the mountain. It was a lot faster walking downhill on a slight incline rather than climbing the side of the mountain. Even though, the walk would take a lot longer. It did not take them long for them for their altitude to plummet enough that there were now below the treeline once again. Everything had looked a lot more natural as the scenery as it was no longer rocks on the side of the mountain. There were plants, trees growing everywhere. This had made Rebekah feel a lot more comfortable yet she also knew she had to make sure there were no wolves or bears waiting to ambush them. Luckily, none had come this way, and they can finally see Fuzziel's nest not too far off in the distance. They were almost there.

  15. Finally now that Carsar had been defeated, it was time to begin getting all the hatchlings to follow her to leave this cave. However, the first thing Rebekah heard as she approach the hatchlings was that Carsar had a treasure trove that she could raid. She thank the hatchlings and began to search Carsar's nest with the help of the six hatchlings eager to head home.

Rebekah had told the hatchlings that once she had found the treasure trove they can finally leave. So she had hoped that it would not take too long as she knew that there must some valuables Rebekah could take for herself. After all, she had reasoned in her head that Carsar must have collected something since it had stolen Fuzziel's baby dragons. Therefore, it must be a dragon that flew out and took a lot of stuff.

She could see it as well in Fuzziel's nest when she was there. There were still some valuables but not a lot given that it had been raided previously. Rebekah had found it with the help of the hatchlings. It was finally time to leave.

There was also another journal entry she had found. Rebekah decided to look at that later.

  16. Neither Rebekah or Carsar had managed to land attacks in the last two rounds of combat. Now that none of them had landed any damage, Carsar decided to land back on to the ground. Rebekah had been overthinking the last two rounds and with the dragon landing fighting on the ground once again, this would be a perfect opportunity to be able to defeat it. All Rebekah needed to do was to make sure she could execute her plan in battle.

She needed to be accurate, so she knew there mattered more than anything. It would only take one more basic strike from Rebekah before the monster will be defeated. She knew that this had dragged on for far longer than she had hoped but she was gaining valuable battle experience against a more difficult monster. She liked fighting in these situations given that it would often it would help her improve and give her experience against a wide range of situations. That was the primary benefit of fighting all these monsters.

The attack gains +35 DMG (replacing crit bonus) with this attack and targets all players in the battlefield, inflicting Paralyze on contact. Make separate attack rolls for each additional target beyond the first.  Carsar he can only use this twice in a single battle before he cannot do so anymore.

  17. Rebekah now knew that she would have to try a lot harder to defeat the dragon now that it is in the air. She had hoped that the dragon would land back on the ground so it would be easier to hit. She needed to think about why she had missed on the last attempt. Rebekah knew that if she tried again it should work now, given that she was just a little bit too early and eager to finish the battle with the last strike.

As Rebekah watched the dragon fly in the same pattern once again, she had thought it was awfully easy for her to solve these flight patterns to be able to exploit these monsters flying in the wild. She knew that there was only one thing on her mind which was to defeat Carsar so she can return the hatchlings back to Fuzziel. Rebekah waited for the exact timing this time before launching herself towards where she had calculated where Carsar should be once again. Hopefully, this time it would go a lot better.

  18. Rebekah had landed her opening attack. Carsar immediately took flight but not before hitting her with an attack. Rebekah barely flinch as it did almost damage due to her heavy armour protecting her. In return, the dragon took more damage from her due to thorns that Rebekah had. Now that she knew that this battle should not take any longer, Rebekah decided it was finally time to attack once again, although it would be harder given that Carsar was now in the air. She would have to be careful with her attack. At the same time, this would make it easier for Rebekah to dodge its upcoming move.

Rebekah was trying to predict where the dragon would fly to so she was cautious and did not dare to strike just yet. After a few more seconds she had found out about the pattern that Carsar was flying to and predicting the location that Carsar would be in a few seconds. Knowing this information, Rebekah lunged at that location in the air without another sword art. Hopefully, it will strike, but it failed.

  19. With her small break complete, Rebekah quickly scaled the rest of the cliff and jumped up onto the ridge above. There it was, the other dragon Carsar. It did not look happy that she had arrived on the scene. All six of the hatchlings immediately backed away to avoid getting caught in the crossfire between the two of them. She could see the eyes of Carsar. It was not friendly. Rebekah immediately activated her rapier that she had stowed away as she had to climb the cliff.

It was now time for battle. Rebekah immediately made her way towards Carsar and activated a skill. She had hoped this would work knowing that this was likely the boss for this quest on the first floor so she did not expect it to be difficult. She activated a sword art, it was not the one that she would normally activate first as she had to rush to attack as the dragon flew towards her at the same time. This was something that she could potentially improve on in the future.

  20. As Rebekah left Fuzziel's nest and began making her way towards the mountain. Rebekah could already see the sightings of a topaz dragon baby. It must be Fuzziel. Therefore, she knew she was heading in the right direction. However, this was a very difficult portion of the route to climb. There were rocks everywhere. It was a good thing Rebekah was not afraid of heights and had rock climbing experience. She was out here alone, so she knew that she cannot rely on someone else to help. She would have to overcome this physical obstacle one step at a time.

Therefore, Rebekah knew that it would be very important to pace herself. She knew there would likely be a battle once she had arrived at the top of this ridge. So far she remain undetected so far. She would take a quick break before moving on. She had not had the chance to rest since she had left her bed this morning and this was going to be a quick one. However, it did lower her heart rate which would allow her to perform better in battle. A dragon had saw her climb but luckily it was Fuzziel's baby. Rebekah signaled over for the baby to be quiet.

  21. The dragon responded, "Hello young adventure. My name is Fuzziel. Another dragon, Carsar the egg snatcher had flown into my nest and stole six of my topaz babies. I have fought with him but he managed to get away. Can I ask for your help to find my six hatchings? I am still recovering from my injuries from the fight with Carsar."

Rebekah knew that she wanted to help the mama dragon out very badly. She had felt bad for her and immediately agreed to help without thinking about what she should do. "Yes, I will help you find your babies. I do not have anything to heal you at the moment." Rebekah said.

"That is fine. I can heal myself. They went that way," the dragon pointed towards the mountain with steep ridges and cliffs.

Fuzziel continued, "Before you go, I will bestow on you this blessing. It will my babies identify that you are helping me. That way, they will know to follow you as a friend. Thank you for your help." Rebekah was then consumed with a breath of a dragon. She then saw her status bar and realized she had received a temporary buff for the next little while. This would help her with what she needed to do.

  22. As Rebekah walked into the nest in front of the dragon, she made sure her weapon was hidden and not on her body at this exact moment. She wanted to come in peace and show that she was not going to attack it. Of course, there was risk with this decision but she knew she could quickly equip it back in a split second.

The dragon looked at her before roaring at her. However, the dragon did not direct any attacks her way. On a closer inspection, Rebekah could see a broken nest, with many broken eggs, a dead baby dragon and this dragon was injured with scratches, bruises and cuts everywhere. Rebekah understood what may have transpired and knew that this may be a chance to help this dragon.

Rebekah confidently spoke to the dragon, "Hello. I come in peace. I see that you have been injured, and I would like to know is there anything I can do to help?". She waited for the dragon to respond but it was still looking at her. She wondered if the dragon could understand the human language but it did not take long for her to get an answer.

  23. Now that Rebekah had finally found the dragon's nest, it was finally time to go there to explore. This had been an exhausting search but she was happy that she had finally moved on to the next part of this difficult and challenging quest. Rebekah knew that she had to be careful. After all, an existing dragon could be there by the time she had arrived.

As she headed closer, she could notice that this was an actual nest that had been used recently. There were dragon eggs waiting to be hatch, as well as some treasures scatter throughout the floor of the nest. In addition, the nest looked like it had been used regularly with branches everywhere, scratch marks and parts of the wooden walls were scratched. She had expected this given that any nests that were perfect would not have been used. This was an actual functioning nest, not one of those built just for the purpose of showing off. Therefore, Rebekah took one last look and stepped into the nest. This was it, there was no turning back now, as there was a dragon in the nest watching her every movement.

  24. Now that nothing had worked, Rebekah had finally climbed the hill, she knew that she had searched almost everywhere and would be able to find the nest soon. She looked around as soon as she had arrived at a relatively high point on the terrain. Once she had reached that spot, Rebekah turned around and began to look in all directions. She had finally spotted the nest and knew the direction she needed to head. Finally, it had been the only place she had not looked yet.

There was a reason why she had avoided that area since it was a lot more difficult to reach. She had thought to search and look for the nest at all the easier places first. She knew that going to there would have been a mistake if it was not thee as it would be difficult to leave that area. There were a lot of rocks there so she would have to traverse the land slowly. Therefore, she knew that it would have to be very careful that she does not accidentally slip when she was over there.

  25. As Rebekah continued to search around she knew nothing was going right. She had wished her owl was here today. Snowball being an owl would have been a lot of help trying to search for a nest as well as giving her another set of eyes from another angle looking for it from high above. That was it. Rebekah had thought, she had not tried looking above in the sky looking for any type of animal or monster flying by. Perhaps they could show her or lead her towards a specific direction. However, the sky was void of any animals or dragons at the moment.

This had meant that she could not find anything even if she wanted to. She must be overlooking something simple, as Rebekah thought it should not be this difficult to try to find a big nest out in the open. However, Rebekah had no time to waste. She had to keep pushing herself to continue to search for this nest. Hopefully she could find it sometime soon as she was starting to tire out from searching every piece of land looking for the nest to advance to the next part of this quest.
