Kaito

Both Kaito and the Frenzy Boar missed their attacks, but this time Kaito is able to attempt a strike on the Frenzy Boar. This battle can go in two ways; one Kaito dies by these weak creatures, or two he successfully destroys the Frenzy Boars and continue his fight. "The second choice is much better." Kaito states, as he positions himself towards the Frenzy Boar. Kaito attempts to slam his Scimitar straight down towards the Frenzy Boar, but failed and starts to feel frustrated.

Kaito was struck once again by a Frenzy Boar, which makes it three times in a row. "Heh. I'm never lucky with those evasive movements." he jokes, as he dusts himself off. These three were just the beginning of his troubles. He had to find a way to level his sword skill, so he can master the way of the katana. Kaito starts to trail off, but then realized that the battle is still going on and he charges toward the Frenzy Boar. Before Kaito was able to strike the boar, it evades his attack and snorts away.

Again taking more damage from the Frenzy Boar, but this time it just made him more aggravated. "Sorry, Mitoko.. I have turned into some blood lust person." Kaito said, as he switches his position and quickly charges towards the Frenzy Boars. With the wide range of his Scimitar he was able to slice through the third Frenzy Boar, shattering it into shards. "One down, two to go." he quickly, turns around awaiting for their attack.

The Frenzy Boar was able to land a hit on Kaito, but it wasn't enough to make him back down. Swirling his Scimitar in a circular motion, identifying the movements of the Frenzy Boar. "Okay.. So I need to attack the one that is the most distant from the group." he said, as he analyzes the Frenzy Boars. The boars start to squeal and start to walk towards Kaito. He shifts his position towards the middle Frenzy Boar and strikes it directly. Kaito was able to drop its life down to the yellow zone easily.

Kaito took a look at his tatto and the player covered it back up, walking along the path back. "Sorry about that. Next time, you should mention in it in the beginning." he said, taking the fall for Mitoko. She didn't know about it and shouldn't feel guilty for it. Kaito grabs ahold of Mitoko's hand and follows the player on the path, staying back a bit. "This guy.. Something happened to him in the real world and for some reason it still affects him on Aincrad. Kayaba.. Aren't you suppose to free everyone from their disabilities?" he'd think, as they continue on their path. Kaito glances back at Mitoko once in a while to see if she still feels guilty about what just happened. He starts to swing their hands, as if they were just having a normal walk on the park.

Kaito steps onto the grasslands and lets the wind blow through the fields. He stretches as he walks over to a group of Frenzy Boars. "One..two..three." Kaito said, as he swiftly dashes towards the Frenzy Boars. The three Frenzy Boars that were idling were his targets and he had to get rid of them quickly. "Swiftly.." he said, as he quickly equips his Scimitar. Before he could ever land his attack on one of the three Frenzy Boar, the three squeals and scattered like ants. "Damn it!" he shouts, in frustration.

Kaito could hear the player saying something at Mitoko, but it sounded like he was hurt. He quickly stood up and ran over to Mitoko and slid to her side. "What's wrong with him?" he said, as he grabs ahold of Mitoko. Kaito brings her back a bit, moving away from the player. "I guess there are still more things I need to know about this guy. The fact that we didn't even introduce ourselves at all." he'd think, as he distance the two away. Kaito lets go of Mitoko and stands in front of her, watching the player who looked up at the two. It looked like he received a rash on his forehead, from just a touch from Mitoko. "You okay, player?" he asked, without any hesitation.

Kaito de-materializes his Scimitar and scoffs at the player who had dropped his eye-patch. "Some secret you have there buddy." he said, as he places hand over his face. Katio lets out a sigh and walks over to a rocky edge and takes a seat. "I guess this weather isn't so bad after you've done some killing." he said, as he closes his eyes. There are several things that Kaito still needs to learn, but for now he'll need to be the weakest link of every team fight. Kaito slowly opens his eyes and watches over the snowy mountains and leans against his arms that he placed behind him. "So what now?" Kaito states, as the snow starts to pile on top of him.

Kaito, frustrated at the fact that he didn't land a single hit on the dragon. He starts to brace himself for another impact by the Ice Dragon. Ice shards start to fly once again towards Kaito, but still ignoring the ice shards he went in for an attack that was more idiotic than any other way. "If I can land this hit, being hit by a couple of shards won't matter." Kaito thinks, as he reaches closer to the head of the dragon. He slid towards the side of the Ice Dragon's head, but its hand smack Kaito straight down. "Damn it." Kaito said, as he struggles to get out of the dragon's grasp.

A hooded player approaches from behind. A orange cursor displays above the player and he looks at two players. "Care if I join the party?" the mysterious player spoke, as he quickly equips his Scimitar. The feeling of dangerous runs through the course of his body. He glances at the two players and recognized the pinkette. It was Mitoko. He pulled his hood covering his eyes, so he could hide his face from her. "Damn it. This is the wrong time to show up." he'd think, as he tries to figure out a way out. Then the other player said to Mitoko that the cave was safe and barely had any danger. "Bad idea.. Things won't end well if we walk in there." he said, as he slowly backs up.

Mitoko was able to land a hit on the Ice Dragon, but Kaito and the other player weren't so lucky. "Tch. This Ice Dragon doesn't have long to live." he said, as he positions himself facing the Ice Dragon. Kaito glances at Mitoko and flashes her a smile, "I'm fine, my princess." he mouths to her. The dragon starts to roar at Kaito with ice shards flying towards him. Without knowing the effect of the ice shards, Kaito charges at the Ice Dragon and attempts to strike the Ice Dragon. He attempts to leap in the air, but the ice shards finally hit him. Kaito falls to his knees and grabs onto his chest. "C--Cold.." he said, as he slowly rises from his knees.

I was wondering if I can still get items from monsters.

also I wanted to know if I have to be in a safe zone to end a quest.

1. You always do.

Every Mob that is defeated has the possibility of dropping Loot, provided they meet a simple Hp requirement. In order to qualify for dropped loot, a Mob must have at the very least, (Floor Level x 2 Health)

On the post that a Mob is defeated the Loot Die's roll will determine if there is a drop.

A successful roll (11-18) will result in a good quality item.

A critical roll (19-20) will result in a Uncommon item.

Good Items are ordinary in their ability. equitable items that are of good quality have no enhancements meaning they are basic standard items. The benefit of good items is shown if a player wants to try out a different sword skill style, or try out a different armor type. you may choose to not take the item and thus can instead get col from its defeat which is explained further on.

Uncommon items may have 1 modifier or special effect. all Uncommon items must be submitted for approval in the same manner as crafting.

2. I don't you have to be in the safe zone, but like all quests you have to go back to the quest giver to complete it. So mostly likey you have to.

The item turned out to be a failure and Kaito throws it into the incinerator. "Okay. I guess I can try to do this again later on, but it wouldn't matter anyways." he said, as he focuses on what to craft. An idea popped into Kaito's head and he starts to jot things down into his notepad. Still thinking about what to craft, he starts to nibble on the eraser of the pencil and finishes up with his note. "This will do." he said, with a grin.

Kaito once again decided to try and craft a weapon for himself, and this time it will be a curved sword. He approaches the stash of materials in the corner and took the top one. Taking the ore to the anvil, Kaito thought on how he would try crafting a curved sword and remembered the lessons from the NPC. As he hammered down swiftly the material began to glow and transform. Kaito puts down his hammer and waited for the results.

Kaito picked up his first Rare Item, "Falchion Void" he said. Kaito quickly slashes the dummy he had near the counter and grins. "Now this is more like it." he said, as he places the sword into his inventory. The sword will pack some huge damage to anyone who opposes the unit, but isn't as strong enough to quickly end the battle. "There's still so much to do, and craft." Kaito states, as he continues to craft another item.

Description: The sword is forged by the hands of Blacksmith Kaito. The curved sword with the void like textures allows this sword to move swiftly and pack some damage against anyone or anything that stands in its way. Also there are void particles that follow the sword every time this unit swings.

"Well I guess I'll to make another sword then, hopefully this one doesn't fail on me.." Kaito said to himself. He then took out a piece of material from his inventory and laid it on the anvil. Realizing his hammer was still on the floor, he went to pick it up. As soon as he got back tot he anvil, he started to hammer the material. One.two..three.., he continued to hammer it until the material started to change shape and eventually turned into a Curved Sword. Kaito took the item and read it's tag. "Sweet. This one is a keeper." he said out loud.

Kaito watches as the player initiates the attack towards the Ice Dragon. "That did some damage." he said, as the player backs off and positions himself once again. "This guys has to be some kind of martial art or kendo student." Kaito mumbles to himself, as he starts to swing his Scimitar around. The Ice Dragon lets out a roar, exactly like the Fire Dragon from before. It could tremble players with a weak heart, but not that it would affect Kaito in any way. Kaito charges towards the Ice Dragon, not aware of his surrounds attempts to slash the Ice Dragon. The dragon tail whips him against the rocky walls, causing him to get his air knocked out of him. "D--Damn it. I should have paid more attention." he said, as he holds onto his chest.

The player said he wouldn't harm Kaito and Mitoko, which made Kaito relax a bit. "Good. I don't want anything to harm Mitoko. Let it be a Frenzy Boar or Kayaba." he said, clenching his fist. Kaito de-materializes his Scimitar to show a sign of peace towards the player and gave him a confused expression. "You must have some dark secrets behind that pale skin for yours." Kaito said, as he identifies the player's physical appearance. There was much more behind this odd player, but he seems to keep things to himself. "Who are you? Why doesn't this weather bother you? It bothers everyone and irritate me." he'd think to himself, as he let's out a sigh.

The player said he wants to go hunt for some Ice Dragons and it sparked Kaito's attention. "Now, that's an adventure I would care to join you in." he said, as he quickly re-equips his Scimitar. "I need to do some training myself." Kaito said, as excitement glows within his eyes. He turns over towards Mitoko, "Come on, let's go. We'll have some fun." Kaito said, as he puts his hands on the side of her head, squeezing her cheeks at the same time.

Kaito starts to rub Mitoko's hand with his thumb, as they walk back to Armadillo. Mitoko then states that she had more confidence then before, but was cut off by her familiar. "I know you have, Mitoko. I just don't want to leave you ever again." he said, as the familiar circles the two. The little feather'd dragon starts to roar loudly as well and starts to bump the both the two players. "Quit it." Kaito said, as he tries to evade it. Mitoko starts to giggle and Kaito couldn't help but smile. "I haven't heard her giggle for a long time." he thinks to himself. Mitoko glomps the feather'd dragon and it didn't matter what it was, because now its family. Mitoko wanted to rest because of the long day the two players had. She slowly lets go of Kaito's hand and sends him a friend request. He quickly accepts the request with a smile.
