Nothing happens.... He just sits there catching his breath.

    [Roll ID: 2323]

He seems to have gotten control over his body again as the virtual adrenaline kicked in. He felt strength surge through him as it did. He brought his fist down on the rock again and again. Cracks spread further and deepened in the rock. Shatter!

Kazuya felt tears well in his eyes from in result to the pain and his condition. He switched arms, stabilizing himself with his crippled one. He then drew his arm back and struck the rock with all the force he could. If he could just fracture the rock a bit more. it would probably collapse on itself.

  3. [Roll ID: 2298]

Kazuya tried again to break the rock, but it had started to only cut his hand. Red blood dripped off his free hand before it dissipated into polygons that floated of to who-knows-where. This is becoming a problem. If I die by a stupid rock, people will just look at my memorial and laugh.

Kazuya slipped in result to his shifting of weight. He fell to the ground, but this time, he made certain that he would land in a fashion as not to agitate any injures. He tried to stand again. Breathing hard from the effort, he looked defiantly at the rock and prepared for his next attack. He would shatter this rock and he would do it quickly.

  4. [Roll ID: 2296]

He knew it wasn't enough. He would have to put more weight into the blow, but how? He was already on one leg and using his other arm to stabilize himself. He drew back his free arm again, still without an answer to his predicament and thrust it back into the rock, causing the fractures to become more like small canyons in this huge boulder.

(Sorry guys, I'm not going to kill Kazuya with a stupid rock.)

Kazuya tried again to stand. This time, he was more successful. He put all his weight on his good leg and put and arm on the rock to stabilize himself. He had practiced close range blows at his old dojo. He pulled his other arm back 5 inches from the rock's surface and struck at it.

((Okay, now this is more like it. Looks like my luck has left as usual, but I guess I'm okay with it.))

Kazuya tried to stand, bracing himself against the boulder, but he slipped and fell back to the earth. He yelped in pain as he hit the ground, landing on his newly broken leg.

Kazuya tried to kick the rock another time, but this time the rock had been worn down to its much harder center. As his leg connected, a sickening sound resounded through the forest. "AH!!!!" He fell and clutched his leg. It wasn't looking so good. He had broken it.

Kazuya looked that the cracks and watched yet another shard of rock fall. He felt eager to finish this. He took a different stance and prepared to kick the object. He swung his leg at the cracks and listened to the sound of breaking rock as it connected.

  8. "Well thanks. I look forward to fighting with you all again as well." On that note, he turned, his cloak flowing in the cold breeze as he did, and walked away from the two other player. "Don't forget. Just give a call and I'll be there to help out." He left the others to distribute whatever loot they got from the whole endeavor.

  9. Kazuya saw the people practically begging him not to do this. When Lessa appeared in his vision, he almost broke down. "Lessa... Lessa, they killed him. They killed Arga. Those murderers... How can I stop, even if it were to kill me? You know me. You know me. You know that I could never stand for this! I even tried to stop them, to stop everyone, but they still killed him. I was even willing to take damage from both sides and they still killed him. Nobody had to die, but now... Now they do. They have betrayed the law of this world. The law of every world. Not to kill one another, except after a court of law." The tears continued to stream down his face. "They took one of the few friends I have in this accursed life that I lead. And why? Because Arga lost himself in his mind again. I have always been able to bring him back previously, but no! They wouldn't listen when I told everyone to stop! They just continued their slaughter!"

He heard Celes words. "You think you are the only one who cares!? YOU ARE A MONSTER! I cared for Arga. He was more than just a friend. He was maybe even more than any brother I could have. He was the only family I had in this world. How dare you take him!" He felt another sharp pain in his chest. "I haven't even caused any damage to any of you, yet you still attack me like this?! I haven't even advanced or taken a step from my position. All I did was purposefully miss that one, and get in your way in an attempt to stop this. This isn't a tragedy, it is murder, especially for the fact that this fight was completely and totally unfair. You have four versus one." He could barely keep a hold of himself. His face was like a window to his soul. it showed the pain, sorrow and angry he felt. He knew that he should just retreat, but his instinct told him to give them some wounds to lick before he did.

  10. Kazuya walked into Lessa's shop after just visiting Moartea's. "Hey, Lessa. I have a job for you. I'm willing to pay in both Mats and Col." He brought out the 1100 Col and two ores. "Lessa, I need two pieces of armor. Light metal please. They need to both be perfect. Their names are the Fallen's Bracers which has +2 Damage Mitigation and +1 Damage, and the Fallen's Greaves which has +2 Damage and +1 Damage Mitigation. I will pay extra upon pick up. I promise." He set the Col and Mats on the counter. "I'm also really in a hurry. I need them done very quickly. I am even willing to pay extra to be placed further up your list."

    (-1100 Col, -2 Ores)

  11. Kazuya had his hood up. He couldn't allow other players to see him so distraught. He had to keep up appearances. If he showed his weakness, then others might take advantage of that and attack. He looked at the player who had once been his mortal enemy. It is funny what pain and death can do to a person. This person may actually become one of my closest friends in the future due to this unprecedented event. He felt a tear roll down his cheek as a memory of Arga talking with him about baby names popped into his head. "For once... I think we may be on the same page. I abhor that woman. She is a vile, short-sighted, and hateful person. I know I came to this game to save people, but with her around... She could easily do this again. I won't allow it."

  12. ((Actually thanks to my stats, Zero's attack didn't land. Alkor's did though.))

Kazuya saw his friend burst into blue polygons and tears welled in his eyes. No Arga... "You bastards! You killed him!!" He kept a grip on his emotions even though he just wanted to break down. He felt Azazel creeping out of that dark crevice in his brain, speaking to him. Turn this into a blood bath. You know you want to. You know that this isn't justice. This isn't what you entered this game for. You entered to try to stop such things, and these people have taken your sacrifice and burned it with their own evil. You can satisfy justice. Just kill them. Each and everyone of them deserves to die. He turned to the group, still holding his sword in a defensive position. He knew today was probably the day he too would die.

"You killed my friend and you think I'm just going to sit back and watch. You are all horrible! Even you Celes?! I thought you were a kind person. I thought you of all people would only subdue him, bring him to court. You have taken one of my only true friends from me. I don't have friends really. I never had them IRL. Now you have taken him. You honestly think this is the way to settle things? Killing? You are all murderers!! Whether it is for retribution or for fun, murder is murder!" The tears finally flowed and tracked a path down both of his cheeks. He refused to lower his sword even at the inevitable outcome. He had never been one to stand down, especially after witnessing the death of his friend. "I don't think I can forgive you..." he muttered softly. The pain of reality pierced his heart. He took out a potion and prepared to drink it, expecting another attack. "Alkor, I used to think highly of you. Celes, You two faced bastard. And you Mari, you are a sadistic murderer. I will mark your names on my already black heart. I used to think I was the real monster. That is until I witnessed this. At least let me have one blow on one of you to satisfy my pain." He felt a wave of hurt wash over him as the last polygon of Arga dissipated.

He saw how close he was. Almost there. Just a bit more and it will break. He brought his injured arm back, ignoring the red polygons and virtual blood dripping from it, and struck the rock again.

  13. Kazuya saw what was going on. All the players were against his guild leader. Oh God! What did he do? I know he can be a problem, but this is too much! He sprinted towards the battle. He knew that he wouldn't pick sides as he didn't know what caused this outbreak, but he knew he would have to end it. He would attack both sides. He had to subdue the entire group.

Kazuya drew his black blade and ran toward Mari, who had full HP. "Stop it everyone!" he screamed. He knew from previous experience that it wouldn't do much, but he hoped it would give her and Arga (indirectly) a wake-up slap. He wasn't about to sit around and watch two people fight to the death like this. He guided his blade past Mari's face and made sure that he ended his maneuver with him between the two. Though his level and gear probably wasn't up to par with the two, at least he could give Arga sometime to get a hold of himself while they used him as a punching bag, instead of each other.

Kazuya approached the chest. He used the torch to look around the room a bit more. He noticed two statues standing at opposite sides of the room. They were stocky looking warriors that were probably placed to protect the King's resting place. He paid them no more attention since he was on a mission. He needed this pendant and was going to get it even if it killed him. The chest was gilded on the edges and had a large complicated lock. Kazuya, having only one arm currently, set down his torch to have light as he tried to crack the lock. He got working on it, using his entire knowledge of locks and game mechanics. Within the next twenty minutes, He had broken the lock and opened the chest.

He looked inside at the chest and saw his pendant. It was beyond beautiful. (I'll let Alyce decide how it looks) As soon as he removed it from the chest, the room lit up red. "S***!" The statues started moving from their places at the edge of the room toward him.

    [FIGHT!]

  15. [Roll ID: 2158; BD=5+2 Accuracy]

Kazuya hung back for a moment and watched the battle. He was a battlefield tactician after all. He had to see and envision the whole scope of the battle. He saw Daeron's group charge with Daeron himself at the head. What else is new? His group did some pretty good damage to their Hydra Head, But now it was his group's turn.

He watched as Zelrius took preemptive action. His Twinfire Sword shone brilliant shades of red, good and yellow. Kazuya's eyes followed him as he attacked the poor beast. He watched in almost awe as the HP bar of the Hydra Head fell drastically. He took a mental note. Zelrius is not one to get angry in the future. Unless I currently have a death wish, I should avoid him for now.

Kazuya snapped back to the battle. He knew it was his turn. He drew his sword. The sheath glinted black and red in the volcanic light. The metal was a jet black that seemed to absorb the light and life of what was around it. He took his pre-charge stance, lowering his center of gravity and making him more stable. Activating <Charge>, Kazuya advanced at great speed. He closed the gap between him and the Hydra Head and leaped into the air. He soared over Zel and dug his cursed blade into the Hydra. He continued his strike, tearing through the beast, but being careful not to decapitate it. He knew the tales of the Greek Hydra all too well. Landing on the ground, he prepped for a counterattack and admired his handiwork. Blue polygons seemed to flow from the beast. It wasn't bleeding, but it was severely injured.

"Okay. If I recall that drakon lives on this floor in some sort of ruins." He walked away from the entrance. "The ruins are far south of here. Maybe we will run into some interesting monsters on the way." He had to resist the urge to laugh as he basically referenced himself, at least what he thought of himself. It didn't take long before he came across a small group of timber wolves. "Ahh. Would you look what we have here..." He opened his HUB and equipped the gear that he had kept hidden in his storage. He activated his <Charge> as he attacked the closest wolf. He quickly closed the gap between them and hit the wolf with full force. As he did so, the other wolves pounced on him and bit him in the right shoulder and left arm. He shrugged them off as the damage felt like nothing with his new gear and their effects.

((I promise on my life these are real rolls. If you want though, I will switch over to the Perma Roller. These rolls are kind of weird to me as well, so just say the word.)

Kazuya watched as the cracks spread out. He knew it had to be less than half HP now, but the question was could he still break it. He knew the answer without a doubt, but he still had to prove it to himself. He drew back his arm to strike the same spot and thrust it forward again. He felt jagged edges of rock dig into his virtual flesh. Don't worry about that Kazuya. All you need to worry about is how you are going to break this thing. It is on the verge of destruction, but can you do it without harming yourself?

    Roll 1-5 = Fail

    • Rolled a 10 on the d12 (craft) dice.
    • Rolled a 20 on the d20 (loot) dice.

Kazuya smiled at his handiwork. A few more well placed blows like that and I should be done. He straightened up and looked at the cracks, trying to determine where to strike next. he saw the spot where the chunk had fell, but decided it would cause more damage than he would inflict. His eyes then drifted to a section where several cracks met. It looked like a huge intersection of cracks. There! He drew back his arm again, looking at the blade sticking out of the rock. He knew he wasn't going to get that back unless he broke this thing. It was too far in. He struck the intersection with full force.

    • Rolled a 19 on the d20 (loot) dice.

Kazuya drew his arm back for yet another strike. He felt strength course through him as he saw how close he was to breaking the rock. He put all his weight into his arm and thrust it forward. It connected with the rock and caused a chunk of it to fall from where he had hit it. So close. Just a little more and I'll be done here.

    Roll 1-5 = Fail

    Roll 6-8 = 1 damage

    Roll 9-10 = 2 damage

    Ryuu HP: 10/15

  16. Kazuya looked at them and laughed. "Hey. What's is up with the tension in this room?" He stood up and sheathed his sword. "Come on guys. Lighten up! I mean this is supposed to be a business deal, not a funeral." He motioned to Rowan. "The reason that Rowan had me speak for him today is because he doesn't really have the time to set this appointment for another date." He walked around the room, looking for clues on how to continue with this conference. He decided he would just have to wing it. He turned back to the table. "Now, let's, just for a moment, think that this may be the only chance for a deal like this in a while. What would you do? Would you just let it slip by simply because the spokesman for your buyer is a little rough around the edges? No! You wouldn't! I can tell you all are rather experience with this stuff. You know how to jump on a deal when you see one! Well... Here is one! Now show me how you seal a deal!" He smiled at his small victory.
