  1. Davros stared as the boss blasted up out of the snow. How was Manta supposed to deal with something like that? Why was he worrying about her, ow was he supposed to deal with something like that? He glanced over at Manta who let out a bored sigh before blasting forwards and decimating the boss with ease. When had she gotten so strong? So this was what it took to be a frontliner.

  2. Davros considered following the group, but it just wasnt his style. Free SP or no, he was pretty much a loner and didnt want to join a crowd of people for a reason he wasnt even sure of himself. He didnt want to waste time he could be spending ranking up his skils. For all he knew this would turn out to be a fruitless venture. He turned on his heel, starting to walk off in the opposite direction. He had things to do and bosses to beat, real, certain ways to get skill points. Ways that couldnt possibly end in his death if he had a higher level player with him.

  3. Davros smiled as Manta walked ahead of him and veered off to the right. She definately knew where she was going, and had likely taken this quest multiple times and knew the bosses exact spawn point. He cracked his whip absentmindedly. He was pretty terrible with it, all of his skills going into search and detect. He should probably invest in some sword arts, but he didnt really want to be a fighter.

  4. Something very strange was happening on the first floor. Something quite perplexing, and scary because of that. So many high level players were gathering around, seeming to be forming some sort of group. He couldnt help but wonder if some new field boss had appeared, or maybe a dungeon. So many were high level, but some looked to be even lower level than him. He was a treasure hunter, and a dungeon finder, not a fighter. Was it possible that he might find work among that small crowd? Probably not actually, and he wasn't sure if he wanted to get involved, he tentatively took a step towards the group before halting. It was a white haired vision of beauty, something more beautiful and cute than he had ever seen. He didnt ave the courage to take another step, instead debating his  options.

  5. Davros nodded, glad that Manta had understood his decision. He unsheathed his own whip in response to Manta unsheathing her rapier. "I guess we should get going then. Judging by your equipment you can probably one shot that thing easily." He encouraged her before starting to walk out into the safe zone, walking ahead and leading the way even though he had no idea where he was going. Hopefully Manta would pick up on that and walk up ahead of him and lead the way herself.

  6. He looked her up and down back, wondering what sort of thoughts were going through her head. She looked like she had certainly been working hard, with her all perfect equipment. She then spoke up. Davros answered her back truthfully. "Im not a fighter, but I want to help out and make a living. Im trying to be a dungeon hunter. Ill find the dungeons for others and they can clear them and ill get a cut of the rewards."

  7. Manta didn't seem too impressed by his lack of equipment. Maybe she hadnt realized that he had quit quite a while ago, and just wanted to be able to make a living for himself in this world, preferably as a dungeon finder. He would need to get a lot of skill points though, so he would need to rely on people like Manta to get him through the quests that he couldnt do, as he was focusing on non combat skills.

  8. Davros smiled, patting the coiled whip at his side. It had certainly been an extremely long time since he had done anything like this. He had visited one of the higher floors and almost been scared witless by the sheer power of the monsters there. Still, he had decided that even if he wasnt going to be a frontliner that he could still become moderately strong and have some fun while doing it. He leaned against a building near the exit to Snowfrost Town, waiting for his old friend Manta to show up to do this quest with him. In no time he would be extremely powerful.

Davros pulled his cloak tighter around himself and glanced back at Sousuke who was grabbing the box. He turned back and headed out of the cave and towards the cities location. The wind blew furiously but his cloak protected him front the majority. Sand flew through the air, but he just kept walking, pushing forward towards the city. Every once in a while he looked back to make sure Sousuke was okay.

  10. "Of course I can handle it. Im the master of the desert.I lived in Cairo for 4 years. I had plenty of desert expeditions, more than one by myself, and more than 2 at night." He stood up and rolled his shoulders. "You want to grab the box? Or do you want me to carry it?" He gestured to the box with his hand. He knew that Sousuke had expected him not to know anything about the desert. HE only hoped he would treat him better now that he had this new information.

  11. "... Why don't we just take the box and go? We could be back and have finished the quest in no time. It can't be that cold out." He scrolled through his inventory and tapped on the quest. He hadn't actually read anything on it but the name. But Sousuke wouldn't know that. He skimmed over it to check what they were supposed to even be  doing. He felt like he should have read it through before.

  12. Davros refused to be the first person to stop for a rest, so he kept on trudging through the desert behind Sousuke. His hood soaked up the heat, making him feel very hot, but over all it was more of a help than a hindrance. It kept the sand out of his eyes, and it was keeping him from being sunburned horribly. He sped up until he was next to Sousuke. He wanted to start a conversation so he started to think of something. "Hey Sousuke... Got anyone special?" He said, deciding to try to strike up a conversation about girlfriend fails or something like that.

  13. What he said. Also why would anyone want to spam your thread for level? They could make a SP thread and spam that...

I think it will all even out though, even if beast tamers turn out to be OP. People still need good items and potions. There are things you cant get from hunting mobs. Therefore there will always be a need for alchemists, blacksmiths etc.

  14. "Of course I did! Im not some newb to desert survival!" He motioned to his cloak. "I just wish it was whit though..." He checked through his inventory, double checking that he had the necessary supplies. "Yup. Ive got plent of water and food as well. It looks like were all set!" He shethed his sword and pulled his hood up to help prevent dehydration. "Lets go."

  15. (Oh. I cant get to Perma Roller for another 3 and a half hours...)

Davros glanced over at Sousuke. "Me tag along? Ha! How about I just let you tag along with me!" He puffed his chest out jokingly and unsheathed his sword. The blade was light silver, and glittered brightly in the sun. The handle was of beatiful wrapped leather and the pommel itself was engraved with a demon face. "It's called the Silver Devil. I just got it a bit ago. Its for just in case something pops out at us."

(Sorry, my kindle ran out of battery right as I was editing it the first time.)

  16. Davros had recently arrived on floor five to go on the quest that Celesmeh had told him about. He briefly wondered whether Sousuke would show up, but decided against it. He was probably training or something. Davros equiped his new set of armor and his hood, as well as his new sword. He pulled the hood up and pushed his way into the wind, looking for the quest. He finally gave up for a bit and headed into a nearby tavern. He sat down at one of the tables and was surprised to find that there was a sheet of paper in front of him, directly outlining the quest he was after. He picked it up and added it to his inventory for future reference before heading towards the desert. He was almost there when he saw a figure in the distance. He approached quickly, and was surprised to see it was Sousuke. "Hey! Sousuke!!! You going on this quest too!? Lets do it together!"

  17. "I had my guard up Sousuke! She breezed right through it!" He grinned and turned to her, about to ask what the quest was called as well. Sousuke beat him to it though, so he just waited for an answer. Disguise didn't seem like something he would be all that interested, but survival... That sounded pretty cool even though he wasn't quite sure what it did just yet. He glanced around, wondering how long it took health to regenerate. Apparently a very long time. He was in some emotional turmoil on the inside. Part of him was saying to give up, and that he'd never catch up to the lead players. The other part of him was going all hero worship and aspiring to be awesome as well. Eventually the hero worship won out, and he vowed to someday get stronger than this woman. Then he'd challenge her again and win.

Davros pulled his wword out and got to work sawing at the plant with the long silver blade. It was hard work. Those plants were very tough. Finally he cut throug one. That was one material. It ppeared in his inentory. He was already geting tired of gathering. He started to walk away from the bog, looking for a MOB. It didnt take long. He finally came accros the bane of floor one. The boar. This one was slightly larger than normal, but Davros thought he could take it.

  19. Davros made his way out to the bog as quickly as he could. His goal was to just keep fighting and gathering materials until he had ten or more. It wouldnt hurt to have a surplus of materials. Davros decided to just do the gathering for now, and if that got tiring to switxh to fighting. He decided it was better to be safe than dead, so he equiped his hood and his new sword before heading over to the first clump of plants.
