  1. Heathcliff was wondering around the 11th floor making sure everything was in order and there was no suspicious activity. He then received a message from the Vanguard Commander Macradon about the next boss raid. It was at that moment when the White-Haired man thought that it would be a good idea to join the raid as the Knights of the Blood Oath hasn't gained any new members as of late. After coming to the decision to appear at the meeting Heathcliff made his way to the center of the town and walked up the teleport gate. Teleport Floor 18. The Commander then made his way to the meeting place. The man looked at the time and figured the meeting was close to being over but he had to stop by regardless.

The Paladin arrived at the location of the meeting and walked towards the group. Sorry I am late folks. I was a bit busy with some inter guild issues. It seems as though we already have a plan of action for the raid. I will try and tank to the best of my ability and give you all time to deal some hefty damage to the boss. The man said to the group as he walked towards those in his guild.

  2. Heathcliff was sitting at a bar and watching some the players that were there when a message from Mack came across his screen. He then got up and left the bar. The man in red armor, bearing the Knights of the Blood Oath's guild emblem, made his way to the central teleporter and called for the 11th floor. The teleporter then activated and sent the Paladin to the 11th floor as requested. Heathcliff checked the time and noticed he was running a tad bit late. He made his way up to the guild hall and opened the doors. The white haired man made his way through and saw some members, that were currently present, staring at him as the meeting was supposed to start a while ago. The Commander looked around at the players, "My apologies for being late. I had some prior engagements to attend to." He said as he looked at Mack who was currently sitting in the 3rd Commander chair. "Did I miss anything yet?" The man asked so he can get on the same page as the others.

  3. There have been many efforts put into this fight from all the players in this raid. The boss <<Limbo>> has been knocked down to 583 HP. The <<Hatchlings>> had finally spawned and started to attack the players. It was time for Heathcliff to show his power and make his strength known to the group. The Paladin loaded his sword and it gave off a golden light. "Now you will see a little bit more of my power" The man said as he sliced across horizontally and activated the skill <<Goliath's Swing>>.

  4. The commander of the Knights of the Blood Oath stood and watched the whole attack unfold. The man kept on a straight face and let it all happen. Soon after the incident, most of the players wanted to remain and take down the boss and move on in the floating castle. The Boss room doors opened up and the remaining players rushed in and prepared to fight <<Limbo>>. The first player to launch an attack was Calrex and he used <<Howl>> to generate some hate so the rest of the players can begin to deal with the boss itself. Heathcliff followed the plan that had been discussed and used <<Hate>> to gather the focus of the boss and other monsters the boss sends
     at the players.

The rest of the players rushed in and prepared their strategy so this boss is defeated in a timely manner and efficiently. After Heathcliff used <<Howl>> he signaled the rest of the players to get moving and begin the assault. The White-haired man looked at Mack and signaled him to make a go at it.

  5. »It was time to move out and clear the 15th floor. The man dressed in red armor with the Knights of Blood Oath guild logo on him. The man walked through the tower, and reached the front on the Boss' doors. The Paladin walked to the front of the crowd that has already shown and stood to the side as he awaited for the others of his guild to join.

  6. The Commander of the Knights of the Blood Oath had just lost a former member the was the old Vice-Commander of the guild. Azide was a good player as well as a respected member of the guild. It was a sad day to hear that he had fallen during the previous raid. Heathcliff made his way to the Guild Hall. The man walked through town dressed in his typical red amour with white trim while leaving a professional and strong essence about him. He walked closer to the guild and could see that a couple people have just arrived. The man continued walking to the guild as the players went through the doors. Heathcliff came to the front of the doors and opened them wide. He walked in and saw Mack and Vice-Commander Opal. "Hello there Vice-Commander, Mack". The man said while pulling up a chair and sitting down and waiting for others to show.

  7. The meeting had already began but Heathcliff found himself finishing a couple of tasks that were guild related. The silver-haired man thought that it would be a good idea to tend the floor meeting, although he believed that with the Vice-Commander there as well as the leader of the Crimson Blades, there was nothing to worry. The Commander made his way down road and reached the Guild hall that he had just purchased. There were banners of both the Crimson Blades as well as the Knights of the Blood Oath. He walked up and opened the main doors. "Apologies for being late. Had some last minute tasks to finish." The man said as he saw the seat next to Opal open. The Commander made his way to the chair and sat down. He looked over at Opal, "Thanks for saving the seat." Heathcliff said while listening to what was being said. "From what I have heard, players came unprepared in the last fight. One way we can change that is once the lower leveled player's health hits 50% we immediately switch them out for a player with more health. With this being said, we will need a reserve squad of at least 3 players. Heathcliff said while thinking of the best way to make sure no one dies in this fight. The lower level players can start off in the vanguard so they can deal the damage they have while helping to keep the hard hitters unharmed until they switch. Each squad should be balance with healers, tanks, DPS, and another support." He said as he sat back in his chair and listened to the responses.

  8. Heathcliff was enjoying the time by the spring and watching his guild members enjoy themselves. Laying back in the lounge chair while glimmering because of the punch, a smile could be seen coming off the mans face. At that moment, Vice-Commander Opal had just arrived to the party. Heathcliff watched the players as heads began to turn until everyone was looking at Opal. The woman then made her way towards her commander, Hello Commander. The woman said, looking surprised that he actually showed up. Opal proceeded to talk to the Commander by telling him that he looks handsome. Heathcliff looked at Opal in her suit. You look rather beautiful yourself Opal. the man said as he noticed all eyes were on the two of them. Opal then mentioned how every floor is a new adventure waiting for all of us. Yeah, This world is really amazing. It's a fun time we live in these days. The Commander said as he looked up to the sky. The woman then made an observation the Heathcliff did not have a date. Opal then asked if she could be his date, professionally speaking. The man looked at her after she said that, Well, I guess I would let you speaking that we are the highest ranks in the guild. Heathcliff said as he motioned for Opal to join him.

Heathcliff looked at Mack to see him enjoying himself. It's great to see everyone having fun and taking it easy. It's good to have every once in a while so that we know we are still alive. He said as he looked around at everyone at the party.

  9. The Commander of the ever growing guild, the Knights of the Blood Oath, had received word about a party at the hot springs on the 4th floor. It was a good idea that the Commander should show up and have some fun with the members. Heathcliff started his way to the party and checked the locations of those in the guild. It seemed like mostly everyone was in attendance. The Living Legend figured it was about time to make a more casual appearance to the members of his guild.

After a while of walking, he finally reached the hot spring. The commander snuck in through the back and grabbed some punch. Well hello there everyone. Good to see you in high spirits and taking some time to have fun and relax. He said while finding a seat next to the hot spring. The man looked around, Doesn't seem like Opal has arrived yet. No matter, how is everyone doing this fine day? The Commander asked his members.

  10. With the recruitment meeting for the guild underway, Opal had messaged me when all the expected players had arrived at the location. Heathcliff had just arrived at the teleport gate and beamed himself to the city of Taft on the 11th floor of Aincrad. Upon arrival in the city, he stepped off the platform and made his way towards the tavern. He had finally reached the tavern as Vice-Commander Opal was finishing up her speech. With that, I will now step down from this podium...and a few words from our Guild Master, Commander Heathcliff.

At that moment Heathcliff made his way into the tavern and walked up to the podium to address the new Recruits. He looked around at the crowd and noticed that there was a good amount of players that are interested in joining the Knights of the Blood Oath. Hello everyone. He started out with a booming voice that struck fear into his enemies, as well as those who didn't know him. I see that everyone gathered here today contains somewhat of an interest in joining my guild. I am pleased to see that there are so many of you. He said as he looked over and gave Opal a look that he was pleased with her hard work. I am very pleased with Vice-Commander Opal and everything that she has done for this guild and I expect the same from all of you. It may not all be in the same way and form but you will know what that way is when the time comes. He said to the crowd as he thought back to what Opal had said in her speech.

In the very beginning of this game, I wanted to form a guild that would stand as a symbol of hope for the players. Much like Vice-Commander Opal, I knew I had to get stronger and by doing that, I needed to find a new belief in myself. With this newfound belief, I formed the Knights of the Blood Oath. I venture out looking for the players that I believe will help accomplish that dream. I have found the right person to lead under me through the many VC's that had left. The one that fits the spot the most has stayed and made an oath that will help make this guild that symbol of hope that I dreamed about. Vice- Commander Opal is that person and though she may not feel like she is, I can see it in her determination for beating this game. Heathcliff told the crowd as he tried to rally everyone to join.

Everyone of you here today will be an essential part in this game from here on out. I cannot wait to see what will be accomplished with your help. In terms of why you should join, well, this is soon to be the strongest guild in all of Aincrad. We will lead the front lines and our names will be carved into history! You will be famous throughout all VRMMORPG's! Now those of you from the Crimson Blades, I am allowing a small strike team that will be used to do recon missions as well as scouting the boss rooms. Now the scouting team will vary from time to time depending on the players strengths, levels and skills. With previous information given to me by Opal, Mack will lead the small strike team with players of his choice. Those from Crimson Blades who are not picked for the strike team, will become Knights but will still answer to Mack before Opal and I act. There are slots open for the Guild Council, Treasurer as well as Commander of the Vanguard, Knights of Blood Company. If you are interested in any of the positions, please message Vice-Commander Opal and she will gauge if you are fit for the position. Thank you for coming here today. Any minor details will be taken care of by Opal and she will contact me if need be. Thank you. He said as he stepped down from the podium and handed the meeting back over to Opal as he sat at the bar and watched the rest of the meeting.

  11. Heathcliff looked at both players as they each took a turn at expressing themselves. Opal seemed confused when "Finances" were mentioned. Don't worry about it then. I will wait to see what the new members, you pick up, can do. He said as he checked the time to make sure the meeting ran according to schedule. Azide mentioned how Opal was a worthy opponent and was singing her praise to an extent. Seems like I may have a positioned suited to you after all Opal. Heathcliff told her and slightly grinned as he said it. However I will make the decision after your recruitment run. He said as he looked back at Azide. Heathcliff looked over the guild page at the vacant slots in the guild leadership, then looked back at both Azide and Opal, Do what you must to grow this guild. Once you have acquired a good number of players, I want you to test their combat ability then followed by some kind of leadership challenge. The Crimson Knight said as he looked at Azide. Sorry but I will have to pass on the town walk-through until we get more players. He told Azide as he looked over the To-Do list.

Heathcliff carefully examined the two players, I trust that you both know how to represent the guild while you are out on a task... The Paladin said as he motioned for them to get the task underway. I can't wait to see what you two can do in the field. Heathcliff said as he showed his interest in the two players.

  12. In a mere few minutes, Azide was the first player to show up for the meeting, and was even wearing the guild colors. Shortly thereafter, Opal showed up and wasn't even wearing the guild colors of red and white. Azide formally introduced himself, Pleased to meet you Azide. Please, make yourself at home. I always want to make sure that my members are not starving while in the guild hall. Heathcliff said as he kept a friendly atmosphere so no one would tense up and conflict would break out. I see that you are already in the guild attire. Thank you for that. Starting off the first day on a good note as the newly entitled Vice Commander. Looks like my friend was right about your abilities to stand out and be a leader. The Crimson Knight said as he kept the friendly smile on his face.

Opal then came forward and also introduced herself and even apologized for not having the guild colors on. Pleased to meet you Opal. No need to worry about wearing the guild attire today since I called this meeting on such short notice. Next time please have them on though. I like to keep a high reputation for being organized as well as uniform with all guild members. Heathcliff said as he motioned for both to take a seat at the table. He looked around the room to check for anyone that was not welcomed to this private meeting. He then looked at both players dead in the eye, thus testing their posture and patience, Well let's get down to business, thank you both for coming on such short notice. I take it you both know what the recent duel you did was for. It was to test all combat abilities and my reporter gave me an in depth review. Heathcliff said as he tried not to leak his source. He then pulled up his menu that had the agenda as well as both players character page. Both of you show good promise for the guild and I am happy to have you both. As you now know, Azide is the new Vice Commander. His job description is outlined on the guild page. As for you Ms. Opal, I would like you to go adventure with Azide to further your combat ability so that you can be another leader within the guild. I also want to know if you are better with combat or with finances. We need to find people who want to be guild exclusive merchants. I trust that either of you can deal with that. The man said as he motioned for the players to speak their mind so that he could find out what they think and see how their thoughts can benefit the guild.

  13. It was a nice warm day on the 8th floor of Aincrad when two players who expressed interest in achieving an important rank with in the guild finished their battle. Heathcliff invited both players to come to the temporary base of operations for a debrief. Just before the players arrived, Heathcliff's source messaged him with in depth description of the battle.

In front of Heathcliff, there was a buffet of food lined up and ready for the players when they arrived. Cups of coffee were at the end of the table as well as other beverages of their choice. There was another table with chairs, and that is what Heathcliff was sitting at while waiting for the players to show up.

  14. The expression of half the people in the room didn't change. Rosalia asked Heathcliff if Ryujin gets any special perks with his new title of Vice Commander. He looked toward Rosalia, Ryu actually gets some special perks. He is 2nd in command of the guild and can call the shots when I am not around. He said as he looked at Rosalia and Ryujin.

Heathcliff finished his coffee and stared at the others. Now unless you need to talk to me about something, you guys are dismissed. Thanks for coming. He said as he stood up from his chair.

  15. Just moments later, Mayonaka showed up and sat next to Cindelika and expressed her gratitude on Heathcliff inviting her to the meeting. You're welcome May, and shall I say that I do like the choice of colors you wore today. He said as he looked over to the door to see the final member walk in. Ryu, glad you could make it, and nice armor by the way. I like the color scheme. He said as the last member took his seat.

Heathcliff scanned the room to see all eyes on him as he addressed the guild. Welcome everyone, glad to see you could make this meeting on such short notice. I have an announcement to make. He said as he looked the two top guild members right in the eyes. There has been a couple challenges for the Vice Commander spot recently. Ryujin and Mayonaka challenged me to fight for their right to claim the spot. Both battles were quite fierce and were enjoying to take part in. There were ups and downs to each battle but there was one who stood out and managed to hold his own for a good amount of time. He said as he prepped the guild for the news. Today, I would like to announce who will be the Vice Commander of the guild. Here is your Vice Commander... He said as he gazed around the room.

I am pleased to announce that the Vice Commander for the <<Knights of Blood>> is... Ryujin. Congrats on a well fought battle that showed you were worthy of this spot. Use it wisely and do the guild proud. He said as he sat back in his seat and let the news soak in.

  16. Heathcliff looked around the room as he saw Rosalia and Cindelika walk in the room. Hello there players, welcome to the meeting. We are waiting for the others to show up. Please, help yourself to whatever is laid out on the table for you.

Rosalia asked him what this meeting was about as did Cindelika moments later, You will find out soon enough. I want to wait until everyone gets here. He then waited for the remaining members to show before he made the announcements.

  17. It was a beautiful day on the 8th floor, when Heathcliff sent all Knights of the Blood Oath members on a location to meet him for a guild meeting.

He was awaiting his members in the previous meeting room that was used for the boss raid meetings. There was coffee and food on the table and Heathcliff awaited his members while drinking his coffee.

    » About: History/personality

Kayaba is always very calm, soft-spoken, and has a cool demeanor. Despite being incredibly skilled, Akihiko is not boastful, or arrogant. He seems to be very sincere and thoughtful, as shown when he tells Kirito of his dream about creating a floating castle, as the basis for creating Sword Art Online. Kayaba Akihiko has little to no empathy, no regard for human life (including his own), and instead is completely taken in by the virtual world. He chose to fulfill his dream by making a Death Game which cost thousands of lives, and simply noted that their minds were gone from both worlds. In spite of this, Akihiko has a level of honor, and fairness. He designed Sword Art Online to be a beatable game, by anyone who had the skills. He never interfered with the players' progress to keep them from advancing through the game; in fact, as Heathcliff, he was actually fighting on the players' side, helping them clear floors.

    » Virtues:
Briliant. It took some time but with Heathcliff's smart brain, he was able to create a cool game but later programmed it to turn to a death game. He was able to maintain player trust because of his way of working around in the shadows.

charismatic. Heathcliff was able to draw together the 'strongest' Guild in Aincrad, even if he did mostly keep to himself. He was sly about the work he did under the table and was able to maintain his reputation.

Driven. Heathcliff was driven to complete his Goal of creating the floating castle. He was never distracted and always finished a project he started. He always works hard to finish a project at at time and not veer off the path.

    » Flaws:
Incapable of understanding human emotions. Heathcliff was never able to understand the emotions of humans because he never cared enough for his own life just as long as he created his floating castle in a virtual game.

arrogant and smug. partly because his brilliance is hard to understand, so no one can understand why he did what he did. He never really told anyone why he created the death game.

megalomaniac. For years, all Heathcliff could think about was creating his floating castle in the sky. He spent countless days trying to make it and neglected everything until it was done. He was obsessed with his dream for the longest time.

    Story Thus Far (optional)
» In Akihiko's childhood, Akihiko expressed an interest in reading books. He was not particularly engrossed in games in computers, but he participated in the Mathematics Club of his high school. Later on, in university, he did not participate in any circles because he frequently worked in and out of laboratories.

When he began developing Sword Art Online, Akihiko toiled for years to develop the game software. His main goal and dream was to "make Aincrad float" but after he did so, he wasn't entirely sure what his dreams, aspirations, or purpose were.

It can be deduced that Akihiko began working on Sword Art Online before his third year in university. His love interest was Koujiro Rinko, who assisted Akihiko for ten years of the game's development, and took care of his body during the course of Sword Art Online.
