  1. Sinon smiled as Yuji entered, another one of the guild. "Sure thing!" He smiled a white toothed smile and prepared the items for the trade, then confirmed it as Yuji did once the items came through. Sinon was also excited because he had most of the preparations underway for the bordello, which shouldn't be too long until it opened.

"Well I'll see you later then!"

  2. Sinon chuckled as the paper was pulled out which listed rather practically, even with price, of all the goods they required.

"Not the talkative type eh? Well let me just sort you out." Sinon walked around grabbing the mix of items that were desired. He then put them all on the table for Kosan to take.

    "Take care now~"

+3050 Col (230 Profit) - 3x health potion & Field Rations & Antidote Potion & Basic Teleport Crystal

  3. Sinon's first customer came through, a cute girl with cuteness challenging Sinon. What made it so great though was that this person wanted probably the most expensive item there is to get in this game!

"Certainly, let me just fetch one..."

She dug out a Dimensional backpack and placed it on the counter to take, taking the 6500 Col.

"And don't forget to come again! Our prices are reaaaal competitive you know~"

+6500 Col from Unyielding, -1 Dimensional Backpack

A shop on the outskirts of Floor 1, this is far out just enough that PKers can also enter the shop. The store is lavishly decorated in a tacky manner, to suit the name it owns. Sinon runs the shop with a large honest smile on his face and a fashion sure to beat any other player in Sword Art Online, making you think why they aren't a tailor (its a hobby for them). She runs it with complete honesty, showing exactly what she earns from it and hiding nothing from the customer.
There is also, as attributed to the name, a special service open for those that need some...relief. This backroom service is now open for customers (Requires Unrestricted Chat access).

    Appraisals (Crafting)

    Spoiler

    What does Appraisal Do?

    im.php?12%2Fsao39.jpg

Merchants will essentially be that of an inspection in similar fashion to the image above of when Lisbeth was looking over Elucidator's stats and when Dark Repulsor's stats were being looked up. What this inspection does is grant the possibility of discovering and applying a hidden aspect (enhancement) of the item. This would be the general idea of what Appraisal would do in simple terms, though is explained in more detial below.

What Appraisal in SAO RPG does is it takes an item with less than 3 slots (up to none) and discover hidden possible slots within equipment. So if you have a good item, you can make it an uncommon by discovering a slot on it. This can be done multiple times, but if it ends up Locked then it cannot be be appraised anymore and has “<Locked>” next to its equipment tier (such as “Rare <Locked>”). This cannot be done on Perfect or Unique items and each appraisal must be evaluated by a staff member in evaluations like any other craft.

    How Does Appraisal Work?

The following is a simple breakdown of how appraisal functions:

    1. Inspect the Item: This is the first and basic step when it comes to appraising. The Merchant rolls their Crafting Die to see if they find anything.  The Battle Dice is rolled to check if it is unique and the Loot Dice for what enhancement it is. This is all within the same roll. Doing this roll costs a material.

    2. Success, Retry, or Locked: Once an item is examined one if three things can occur, the examination is successful which means the Merchant may continue to the step, the examination brings up no results which allows a Merchant to try again, or the item is Locked making stay in its current state permanently.

These numbers are affected by Ambition for Crafting Dice bonus, but not by loot dice bonuses or battle dice bonuses

Following are the different dice numbers for each one:

    • CD Roll of 1-4: Locked

    • CD Roll of 5-9: Retry

    • CD Roll of 10-12: Success

If you roll a CD of 12 and a BD of 10, the next roll will be for a unique enhancement instead of a normal one.

    3. Reap The Rewards: Once the Merchant rolls to see what type of enhancement the item will be gaining, they will check the Loot Dice from the roll done in Part 1 and see what number was rolled.

Depending on this roll the enhancement will be assigned, following are the possible enhancements for items and what rolls are required for each one:

  5. Sinon sighed. Her hug loosened, now more resting on her than having a grip tight. Her chest was weirdly warm, like what she spoke was something not quite right to her true feelings. Maybe Mari was telling herself to be something she isn't and is just trying to push herself away in shame. Who knows? All it was is his own presumptions, which may either be true or false.

"I'll let go...for now. But that doesn't mean I'm giving up! I'lll...join your guild! Then I'll make sure you'll be happy! I'll become strong just for you and I'll make sure to beat up whatever is getting in the way!"

Sinon now could probably be taken off Mari with ease, now that he no longer latched to Mari but just rested. He sighed, thinking how he had lost the battle, but not the war! A person could only be a downer for so long, and it was up to Sinon himself to make sure this woman was not sad!

  6. Sinon refused to detach himself from Mari, who was still being all self-defeatist. His tone had calmed down some, even if his cheeks were still red.

"I know I'm an idiot and its by being an idiot I'll not let go. I'll hug you until you are happy. Just....don't let go and enjoy the hug instead..."

Simon sighed into Mari. He knew that this couldn't be solved instantly and that this wasn't going to solve it any sooner, but she was wrong. She could be a mother still. There was still a chance for Redemption...right?!

Sinon wanted to keep this woman safe and keep a mutual exchange of safety. It wasn't much to ask for surely. He held her in his hug, warm in comparison to the cold snow around them.

  7. Sinon shook their head in response to the request of getting off them. He remained firmly in a tight hug with the pink lollipop girl.

"And how do I know you're not going to hurt yourself again like you did just before?! I won't let go until I know you've seen some sense and stop disrespecting yourself!"

He buried his face into her, but more like a child did than man. He could do the latter, but that depended on his mood.

"Stop being selfish and live. I don't want anyone to die either, but I also don't want someone to die because they killed someone. Its sad. I want you to be happy!"

Sinon's homesickness now fully kicked in when he realised just how warm the hug was. He dug his face into Mari for extra warmth. "Besides, you're warm like my mum. You're safe. I don't care what you did before, since I didn't know you then. But right now I want to be here keeping you safe so you keep me safe..."

  8. For now, the best thing right now to do was to actually go to the mountain where this rock was he had to break. Oh great, a long trek. He's sure gonna love that. Not.

Sinon sighed, but decided to get on with it. The path was reasonable enough, the grass brushing against and tickling his feet as he walked with his shoes which were more for fashion than walking. If there was one issue with how lavishly he dressed it, was that it was not designed for long walks or trekking. Germans with their practical dress code were far better for this. Well, it had to be done though.

As Sinon walked, he noticed a boar sniff and approach close to him. A boar? Hadn't seen one of those in a while. Well, it would be his first fight in Sword Art Online, so no time to waste...which he clearly was, as the boar straight at him.

"AAH censored!" Sinon jumped out the way of the boar, which missed him. Phew, there he was worrying he was about to get run over. Well, time to fight back then!

  9. Sinon pouted at both of them for their responses. Fine, he will do something rather than sit here. He'll go over to Mari and stop her and he will...

    DISRESPECTFUL TART?!

Her tears still raw and cheeks wet, Sinon went up to Mari. It was amusing since they were both small people. "You listen here then, don't be disrespectful to yourself and die either!" she said, poking the centre of her chest just below the neck. "Ouuuuhhhh!"

Sinon gave an almost child like clambering of a hug onto Mari, attaching his own supple slender body to her and her arms wrapped tight around her, with no signs of giving up.

"I won't let go until I know you're not going to do anything stupid! I won't!"

It was a rather bizarre way, if child-like, in resolving the matter, but it was the only thing that came to his mind.

  10. Sinon felt powerless, his legs giving and slumped as he cried, his hands to his face tightened into fists as they rubbed his face. The more he heard her, speaking or playing, the less likely it seemed that they well still within reach safety.

"Stop being so censored stubborn! I don't care if I don't know you or if you're orange! I want you saaaaa-aa-aafe!!!" Their last word was in tears, making the vowels drag on for the word.

He wasn't going to jump in to stop her playing, at the risk of their face meeting a violin, but after she stopped she would pin them down to stop. After all, he could not accept this, fair or not! Clearly with such misery behind them they weren't a bad person!

  11. Rolled a 18 on the d20 (loot) dice. Can still see the stealthed Rintaro.

Sinon pouted, her arms crossed. "I won't accept it sitting down!" Standing up in gesture to prove her point. "There is nothing stopping me trying. That woman is censored bleeding!! I wont just stand there and let her bleed her [censoring] life all over the snow like water!"

She wasn't angry at Celes and that was clear by her expression, she was distraught. She was breaking down. While she knew of people who committed suicide, she never bore witness to any and this was getting darn close to resembling one through her eyes.

"I want to fix it and I don't care what it takes!" she then turned to the boy who appeared behind them when something like that was happening over there?! Sinon punched him in the gut hard, not caring for anything. She didn't have martial arts, so it didn't do damage to his HP anyway. "I'm a boy, for info. Why the censored do you even care?! There is someone probably dying out there, and you're just here to cheaply pick up some girls or some censored? censored off and go to a brothel or some censored! I'm setting one up soon away, so just censored wait!"

Celes stormed off to Mari, ignoring anyone else, shouting at her again in despair.

"Stop crying! Your crying is making me cry and I don't want to! Give me a hug, do a different song, ANYTHING to stop you crying!". Sinon then merely looked at her, her tensed arma

  12. Sinon watched from a distance a young woman, who seemed to be bleeding out from their own injury, meanwhile playing a song that wrenched his heart. It was like a vice-like grip on his heart, giving a squeeze each time her bow rubbed against the strings of the violin. He was going to have a heart attack at this rate from pure emotions. Sinon never had to survive tragedy in his life, but this made it feel like he had just lost his sister, his family and was completely isolated in a black, small cube. Well, Sinon was claustrophobic, so that didn't help with the mental image.

Sinon also had the memory of someone who she was acquainted to having committed suicide. These days, suicides have become commonplace. However Sinon enjoyed life as as a concept and hated the entire of dying. He was scared of him dying in SAO, he was scared of other people dying. He didn't want people to die!

Listening on, tears welled up in his eyes, blurring his vision and making the distant figure look more like a pink lollipop that bled their life blood. This wasn't fair. No one should be like this! Was! Not! Fair! Sinon sniffled, wiping tears away rather badly as they looked at the girl.

He ran towards the girl, stopping close to arm reach from the girl. His mind raced as he ran towards her.

Not fair....not fair...Not fair...Not fair. Not fair. NOT FAIR. "THIS! ISN'T! FAIR!!"

Sinon was bent over standing, hands balled into fists from their outstretched arms as they screamed in tears.

"Don't be sad! It hurts listening to you crying through that violin! I want you to be happy! You keep playing that music and I'll cry my tears dry!"

Sinon's curled up hand wiped away some tears away from their face, looking at the girl. Their tone was much quieter now, though no less calm. "Please play something happy pink girl...something smiley...just...SOMETHING ELSE! I DON'T WANT ANYONE DEAD!!" Sinon burst into tears again as their emotions spilled out. What hit Sinon so hard wasn't just the music, it was the scene.

The tears of blood that spilt over the snow, like as though she couldn't cry the normal way because it was too hard. Crying with her numb pain and lifeblood. It wasn't fair, Sinon wanted people to be happy and not die on him!

  13. Sinon decided that while a one handed rapier is cool and all, he really enjoyed getting up close and personal, in several ways. This included when fighting, for unlike his appearance suggested, he was a natural in beating people up. Case in point, when in the private school he was in , he was bulled a lot for his crossdressing. After several months, he got sick of all the negativity by a certain group of rather masochistic boys and mean girls. So he took things into his own hands.

They were later found in the local infirmary with many bruises and fractures from having been tossed about like paper and punched very hard. It turned out somehow his small lithe frame was just naturally strong, with doing no fighting sports of any sort.

So Sinon decided to do in SAO what she did best, breaking noses and punching things. With this goal in mind, Sinon tightened his fists, looking out. For now, until he got his martial arts skill, he would have to make do with the rapier. Well, he supposed it matched the grace of his clothing. Sinon had their rapier holstered as they walked across the fields.

    Profile
    » Username: Sinon
    » Real name: Asada Shino
    » Age: 16
    » Gender: Male
    » Height: 160cm / 5ft 3

» About: A simple school kid in a private school, Shino is often bullied for looking far too close to a girl, if it weren't for his genitals and lack of chest. He would fight back viciously and beat them to a pulp in anger, so they usually didn't bully for long. As a private school boy, he was also part of a rich family, a family of bankers. As such Shino was sucked into a world where it was all about getting money, so Shino tries to squeeze the most worth out of anything they can get their hands on. Oh, and for some reason she really enjoys crossdressing, which does not help the whole gender confusion thing, even if he is confidently male.

SAO was something a rich family of hers could easily get hold of, plus it was all the rage right then, so he decided to go for it himself. it brought him to a place he did not expect to be in at all...

    » Virtues:
Loyal: Shino is loyal to his word, much like his father is in banking. If he makes an agreement of some sort, he will stick to this agreement, for he sees this trust as how to built bonds with people. He won't readily agree to some things in the first place though, but what they do agree to, they will carry out as best they can.

Analytical: Shino is excellent at picking up on and seeing the value of worth an item has, be it pawning an item or when looking for things what appears to be the best. Her judgements are pretty mediocre in everything else though. But if you have an item and you want to see what it's worth, he is the man to go to.

Creative: If the crossdressing and his fabulous constantly changing hairstyle didn't give it away already, Shino is very creative in what they work with, which is usually themselves or other people. A naturally gifted artist in it, they usually keep themselves busy in the mornings just trying to decide how to look that day. Trademark is a mini hat and/or a bow tie in his hair.

    » Flaws:
Boisterous: When on an emotional high, Shino is energetic, a bit too energetic. He'll end up raising her voice in excitement, though more sounding like a squeak with his feminine voice, which may hurt some peoples eardrums. Also easily distracts him from whatever is more important at hand.

Greedy: Be it for something of monetary value like a magpie is to shiny things, or simply to that pretty looking piece of cake, Shino is by all means greedy for what is before him. This can at times override his loyalty as well in lesser cases, such as asking them to guard their cake from someone. For that cake may be gone when you come back...

Unstable/Emotional: His emotional state fluctuates with great ease and is by no means stable. They can easily go from bawling in tears to a bright smile on their face, or being very ruthless at someone (probably because they tried to steal something expensive from him). So whatever emotion she is feeling at the time will by no means be guaranteed to be the one in about ten seconds time.

  15. Hello :D

Most of you may know me as my SAO character Tristan or my real name of Finn :)

So because of Erro doing a competition on Skype, I managed to the get the canon name of Sinon. So I now have a Sinon character, though different to the canon one. This one is a trap! (looks like a girl but is a guy)

    http://www.sao-rpg.com/topic/4932-sinon-trap-card/

Well, have fun! I've still not decided what to do with Sinon yet in SAO, so will leave that for now.
