With all the flashy jumps and skills, it doesnt seem like the game was much of a new concept to you. Were there any other virtual reality games you played in the past, any martial arts you took?" Hakiro asked Liam. "With your sheer skill and some partial help from my dissapointing distraction skills we can stand probably stand a chance... Lets go for it!" Hakiro replied in a cheery tone, confident in Liam's and his own skills.

Hakiro then traded blows with the wolf, managing to fend off the wolfs attacks while unleashing some of his own, gaining minor knicks and scratches that werent significant enough to be noticed. Hakiro believed he would able to finish off the wolf with a final strike and thus began charging at it with full power.

After an extremely long rest, replenishing his health and many sniffles and inner struggles on how he could improve his skills, (struggles mostly consisted of Hakiro cursing his luck and the system for his luck as it was a virtual game and not reality). Hakiro decided that he was ready to slay some more wolves now. Hoping not to get pummeled by the likes of one, he approached the friendliest looking wolf out there in the field. Unfortunately for Hakiro, most of the wolves were all pretty fierce looking and Hakiro wasnt really given that option. So instead, he opted for the nearest non massive wolf.

Dissapointed with the outcome, Hakiro attempted to craft a second spear, repeating the same process as before; planning to smelting the ore, beating the metal and crafting a shaft for the weapon. However, with his mind on other things, Hakiro did not properly inspect his materials before the project. Upon the first few swings into the tip, the edge shattered into thousands of bits.

Hakiro felt confident in his smithing work and began his work, aiming to craft a new spear for himself. Hakiro began by refining his ore, carefully smelting the ore. Hakiro proceeded to beat the spear tip into shape. Hakiro crafted a suitable shaft, assembling the two together, creating a somewhat crude spear, as the shaft was bent and the tip was both dull and beaten up from Hakiro's over-agressive hammering.

Hakiro was desparate, his health but a mere sliver while the wolf continued its assault. "Alrighty, all or nothing" He said to himself, extremely disappointed that he was getting his arse kicked by a common mob. As the wolf leaped towards Hakiro, he too sprung into action chargin the wolf head on. Finding its mark, the spear impaled the wolf straight through, seconds before clawing off Hakiro's face and ending his life. Hakiro collapsed on the floor, heavily breathing as he reflected his battle. Hakiro cried a little... on the inside, diappointed on his performance. His disappointment continued, as he recieved again nothing significant for his not so epic fight against the wolf. Hakiro decided to take a long rest and reflect before he re engaged the wolves.

Unfortunately, he forgot that it was rather difficult to control ones movements while airborne and failed to land a hit on the wolf, spear impaled into the ground. While struggling to remove his spear from the terrain, the wolf struck Hakiro, bringing his health past the halfway point.

Reflecting upon his current status, Hakiro decided to instead take a far more cautious approach against the wolf waited for the wolf to strike instead. The wolf leaped towards Hakiro, who managed to swat away the wolf, failing to counter as he was too foccused on self survival. Realizing he needed to still slay the wolf to finish combat, Hakiro readied his spear once again.

Hakiro really hated this game now, mostly just dissapointed at his patheticness while also blaming the system for not being able to fight wolves without struggle. "Maybe its the weapon..." Hakiro frowned on the inside. Knowing that he was unable to contribute to the fight at all Hakiro felt somewhat extremely dissapointed. Like, extremely dissapointed. Hakiros dissapointment continued as all he didnt obtain much from the boar either. Hakiro sure felt really dissapointed right now... Dissapointed enough to cry on the inside... Putting his dissappointments aside, Hakiro went up to his comrade (who did all the work). "Hahahaha.... sorry about that mess" Hakiro said with a grin, "I really dont know what went on over there, I had it all right the first time!" Hakiro continued. "Well anyways,you still havent told me your name yet" Hakiro said to his comrade, eager for an answer.

Hakiro knew that if his luck continued this way, he would be a considerably unlucky person who was better off sobbing in a corner of an alleyway near the outer walls of the city. Hakiro struggled but finally managed to throw the beast off of his body, unable to attack as he instead inspected his wound. Hakiro again felt a flood of dissapointment, as he frowned at his incapability to subdue or even harm the wolf. "Man, I truly am helpless" He thought to himself.

Mostly recovering from the attack, Hakiro waited for the wolf to strike, batting it aside as it leapt towards him. Hakiro lunged at the wolf which quickly recovered and dodged Hakiros attack. Hakiro felt extremely dissapointed that he was unable to slay a mere wolf. Hakiro knew that deep inside any dungeon, more dangerous beasts awaited; not just some ordinary wolves or boars that most players could easily eliminate.

Hakiro leaped towards the wolf, unleashing a flurry of jabs. The wolf nimbly dodged all of his attackers attempts and lashed out against Hakiro. The wolf jumped at Hakiro, who raised his spear in a defensive manner as the wolf bit onto the shaft of his spear. "Get off of me you mutt" Hakiro exclaimed as he struggled to get his weapon out of the beasts jaws. After some struggle, Hakiro managed to get the wolf to back off.

Upon reaching the top of the plateau, Hakiro first looked out towards the horizon. "There sure is a lot of detail put into the game" Hakiro awed at the beatiful scenery and at his surroundings. He admired the scenery for a bit longer and went back to business, initiating his fight against the first wolf he encountered. Hakiro charged at the wolf, aiming at the neck. Unfortunately Hakiro was far too ambitious and instead missed, barely avoiding the wolf in the process

Sitting in the back of his shop, Hakiro sighed. It was a peaceful quiet day. Too quiet. Too peaceful. Hakiro knew only of one thing left to do. "GO ON AN EPIC TREASURE HUNT" Hakiro yelled his thought out loud at the top of his lungs. Grabbing some basic equipment, Hakiro set out to go dungeon exploring and kicking the poop out of some lame mobs and looting them out of all of their goods. Hakiro rushed out the gates and went off to find the nearest labrynth to find some treasure. Shortly after leaving the city, Hakiro realized he would get pummeled inside the labrynth and instead settled on hunting some wolves he spotted on a nearby plateau. Letting out a sigh of dissapointment, Hakiro trudged up the hill promising to become stronger and not so pathetic.

Aiming to craft a shield, Hakiro gathered his materials and set out back to the forge. Knowing how the old machine worked, he heated the metal until it was malleable, then beat it into shape. "This should be easier to craft than a set of armor" Hakiro thought to himself, hoping to create something even more impressive than the armor. The finished product was a solid shield. An ordinary shield. Hakiro frowned as he saw the impurities cast inside. "Well I guess at least I've been able to smith these things" He thought to himself

Hakiro set up his small cramped little shop. He sighed, dissapointed yet still satisfied with the place he could call his own. Mant of the larger and more spacious shops near the centre of the town had already been occupied, with the cramped little residence the only thing he could find in a suitable price range. Hakiro renovated the previous living room into a presentable shop area complete with a sales desk (there were no cash registers in the game) and got to work smithing. Hakiro knew he needed to improve on his smithing skills before he could actualy begin selling his craft and set out to work.

Hakiro stood amazed, the man before him had just pretty much singlehandedly pretty much slew the boar. "Alright, leave the final blow to me" Hakiro said with a confident smile. Hakiro had the perfect opportunity to finally slay the beast in front of him. Spear aimed high, Hakiro planned to skewer the boar through its underbelly and finally slay the beast. However, things did not go as planned, the beast again detected his movements and swung at hakiro before hakiro could make contact. "There is seriously some force in this world that is against me" Hakiro muttered as he was sent flying from the boars retaliation, with more of a look of dissapointment rather than surprise on his face.

Hakiro gripped his newly acquired weapon in his hand, satisfied he got more than just materials from his encounter. He noticed the shaft was much smoother and the spearhead was much sharper compared to his current spear. Discarding his old weapon in favour of the new better built spear, Hakiro set off to the nearby town. Upon returning to town, Hakiro decided he realy needed a shop in order to craft and sell his items in. After aimless searching, Hakiro found and purchased a small residence with a smelter in the outer parts of the city. Inspecting the residence, he found a furnace in the back complete with an anvil, a small living room like area in the front - Hakiro planned to remodel this area into a shop counter like place. Further inspection of the house revealed a small basement in which hakiro could store goods and a small bedroom like area that offered little space other than for anything extra other than personal belongings and a desk. Though cramped, Hakiro smiled to himself "I guess I should just build up from here". Though small and cramped, Hakiro was satisfied with owning his own shop and a place to call his own.
