Manta headed out to the field, her armor and jacket already equipped. She needed some materials, but really she just wanted to beat something to a pulp. Not being a player killer, or someone who wanted to do that, the natural choice was to go hunt mobs. Maybe some really powerful ones, just because she could. She pulled her sword out and ran after the first boar she saw.

Manta dodged to the side and whirled around, her sword making a whistling sound in the air as it slashed into the guys back. She retreated slowly, preparing to attack again as soon as the opportunity presented itself. She was going to knock this guy out of orbit.

"Wow. Your right. It is Sousuke." Manta burst out laughing at the story. "I cant wait to use that against him!" Apparently Destiny was a relative. "He's nothing like that anymore. He's really thoughtful, and nice, and caring... Hes also a complete gentleman!" Manta felt kind of embarrassed talking about Sousuke like that, but it wasn't like he was there. She wasn't good at complimenting people to their faces so she wouldn't have been able to say that in front of him.

Manta noticed him start to lean towards her like she had a gravity of her own. She was surprised, but that meant it must have worked. "All right then. I think I've got this now." She looked over at Akio who looked depressed. "Hey. You'll find someone. Just keep using that line from before! If you do you'll have all the girls. Seriously. It's the cutest thing I've ever heard. If I wasn't dating already I would have said yes right then and there." She smiled over at him and set her empty cup down before standing up. "Thank you for paying. I'll be seeing you around!"

No one had answered so Manta had made her way back to the city. She walked through the crowd, slightly annoyed when someone bumped into her and then took the opportunity to look at her chest. This was one of those rare days when Manta's smile had dropped. Everyone had a bad day, but hers were generally worse than the average person. "Ill forgive you if you do a half life duel with me." She said, keeping her voice and facial expressions neutral so as not to scare him off.

Manta was slightly confused. What was the kissy face. She was relieved when Akio demonstrated it, but it didn't look like anything she would ever want to do. But she got the gyst. "Do you mean like this?"

She looked down slightly and widened her eyes, puckering her lips out as slightly as possible. All in all it was the most kissable face possible.

"Lets duel right here. They generally attract a lot of people... And to tell the truth I kind of like it when there's a crowd of people cheering you on." She opened her HUD and sent Pyro a half life duel request. Then she opened her inventory and equipped the jacket she had just gotten from Sousuke. It fit perfectly. Sousuke really knew how to do his job. "Wow... It fits perfectly... Sousuke really has some talent..." Then she equipped her Daedric Armor on underneath that. "All right. Whenever your ready just hit the accept." Immediately after saying so she unequipped her armor. It was ever so slightly over powered and she wanted this to be a fair duel. "Ok. Ready now."

"It's fine. And Im planning on either pranking someone with it or using it to get my boyfriend to kiss me. I think he's too timid..." She thought about what she had said for a moment. "Not about most things... I think he just wants to make sure its ok with me, which of course it is, but if he asks it wont be as romantic. You know what I mean? I want my first kiss to be awesome." She took one last sip of her hot chocolate, finishing it up.

Manta hopped up into a standing position when Pyro approached. "Sure! Im looking for something exciting to do... Want to do a half life duel? Just for fun?" Manta smiled at Pyro, hoping that she would say yes. She had actually never seen her in action, but was looking forward to it.

"I could make you one. Actually, I have one in my inventory right now. Its probably not what you want though. Also the effects would only be temporary." She swiped her hand in the air, drawing her HUD up and using it to get to her potions. She equipped the Beautiful Loving one. "This makes the person you use it on attracted to everyone around them. Literally everyone. Even the same gender. It also turns them on..." She said this last part uncomfortably. She had been planning on using it on her boyfriend to get him to kiss her.

(OOC: Sorry about the name... I couldn't think of anything good)

Manta stood at the fountain near the exit to the starting city. It was her favorite place to hang out, but right now she was too busy reminiscing about the night before. She had been sitting on the fountain, all set to watch the sun set when Sousuke came over. To make a long story short they watched the sun set together and then went to a restaurant where he asked her out. It was the best day of her life yet. She sat down, her leg twitching. She was so happy that she was twitching with excitement. She needed to do something.

Manta was about a mile away from the city. She was looking for a fight. More like a duel. If she wanted a fight she would just engage one of the numerous enemies around. Not a full duel of course. She wasn't about to kill someone. Just a half health duel. Maybe even for money. Her logic was that anyone this far out from a city would be tough, and a challenge. "If anyone's out there I challenge you to a half health duel!" She yelled out as loud as she could.

Manta walked into her friends shop. "Hey Pyro!" She looked around for a second, her eyes alighting on a beautiful dagger. It was only 200 col! She shook her head. She only had enough col to commission for a perfect item. "I was wondering if I could get you to make me a pair of perfect boots? +2 skill rank for Battle Healing and another +1 to life steal." She checked her account. "I only have 950 col. Can I pay you the other 50 sometime later?"

"Oh. It's amazing. My guild leader is a bit strict, but she's not too bad. You get a lot of benefits, like discounts from shops. For example everyone in my guild gets a 50% off all potions I make except common ones. It's a lot of fun too. We have guild meetings every once in a while where we eat food and talk about stuff. I'm assuming you aren't in a guild? You should join ours. Cerulean Silence. I would go so far as to say that we're the best guild around!" She grinned broadly. She was sure that her little speech would make Akio want to join.

"I only have 9 materials. How about 9 materials and 200 col?" She had just used some of her mats that day. Now she was starting to regret it.

A few minutes later she took all three of the bad items out and started to salvage them. The first one shattered and evaporated into blue shards. She decided to be painstakingly careful with the next one. The next one she almost finished salvaging, but right as she was about to finish it too broke into pieces. All right then. On to the last one. This one shattered into bits almost as soon as she touched it. She looked down at her feet dejectedly. Maybe she wasn't cut out for being an alchemist after all.

She blushed. It was surprisingly close, hed even gotten that it was a guys name. "Really close. Its Monty... Dont ask why please.Its embarrassing and slightly depressing." She thought it was really cute when he blushed at her compliment. She took another sip of her hot chocolate.

"Haha. Lets see if you can guess..." She assumed Sousuke hadnt told anyone yet, and she knew for a fact that Pyro knew him. Maybe Destiny did too. "Brown hair, medium length... About three inches taller than me, age 16.  Really cute face. The most caring person ever." He really was the nicest person she had ever met. She didnt think they would be able to guess though from the info she had given them. There were probably plrnty of 16 year old boys with brown hair.

"Its really just my real name with a few changed letters. I bet you cant guess what it is!"  She grinned broadly and took a sip of her hot choolate. He would never guess it. This was turning out to be a very fun encounter. "And I think Akio fits you perfectly then. You are very manly."

"Whaa?" Manta said, snapping back to reality. "Sorry. I was just thinking about my dream guy.." She smiled broadly, and a smal bit dreamily.

"Thank you." She said in reply to him saying he would pay for both. "My names Manta. Nice to meet you." The cashier brought Akios drink out to him. Manta went and selected a nice two person table for them.  "Akios a nice name. Any story behind it?" She asked.

Manta turned around with her cup of hot chocolate grasped in her hand. There was a cute guy there, proffessing his love to her. It was very cute how cheesy it was. She would have played along, but she did already have a boyfriend. "Im gonna have to give it back to you. Im totally accounted for." She smiled at him. "You should keep that line. Trust me, it works."

Manta walked along the road in the starter city, heading to her favorite cafe. They had the best hot chocolate available so far on all the floors. There werent many people there today so Manta just walked up to the counter and ordered her hot chocolate with extra marshmallows. The service was great and they had it ready for within a minute.

Manta worked hard in the back room of her shop, trying to prepare a good inventory to get more customers. It just wasn't going well for her though. She made two bad items. She put them into the mat chest to see if she could salvage them later.
