Shanok

Hello, as you can see, my name's Shanok, in real life, I go by the name Vincent, but just call me Shanok. I'm a 16 year old boy who likes video games, manga, animes. I don't like any sports in particular but I don't mind playing them for fun. My goal in life is to be a video game programmer, that's why, right now, I'm aiming to get into a conception and programming course in college. Well, now you know me a bit more than you did before. :)

"So, a monster sent by the gods huh... Seems like it's some sort of boss or at least, a very strong monster. I guess I'll look around for it, and while I'm at it, other people who want to defeat it too, with my actual level, there's no way I can take a monster like that alone." said Shanok right after the announcement had been sent. Shanok began walking out of town towards a forest to begin his search.

"Wow, I know those boars aren't strong but still, killing two of them in one hit, you must be strong, at least, stronger than I am." Shanok said, breathing heavily

"You just looked happy, or excited about something, most players are either too scared to go out of the town or they're super serious and won't laugh,smile or anything like that."

Shanok turned around to look for an other boar to kill. What he saw wasn't a boar but two girls talking to each other. But right after he noticed them, he also noticed the two boars that were behind them, what's more, they didn't seem to have noticed the boars! Shanok ran as fast as he could towards them while shouting at the top of his lungs "Watch out! Behind you!"

"I guess not all the people are panicking or serious and cold." Shanok says while walking towards Aria.

Game looks great, downloading it. Plan on being a ravager. :P

» About: History/personality
Ever since he was little, Shanok liked playing video games. From platformers, to FPSs, to RPGs, to MOBAs. He really enjoyed playing them. When he heard that there'd be a Virtual Reality MMORPG, he knew he had to get it. He'd be able to play a game, while being in it, himself, controlling the character's every movement, from head to toes, he liked that concept a lot. Shanok applied to be in the beta, and he was chosen for it. The day he first played the beta, he was so amazed at how the game looked and felt. When the beta ended and the game came out, Shanok received his copy and immediately put it in his nervegear and launched the game using the sentence that was assigned to launching the game "Link Start!". Little did he know, those were the last words he would say in the real world for a long time.

» Virtues:
Loyalty. Shanok is a loyal and reliable person. Once he has made friends with someone, he'd never betray them, as he feels that they wouldn't either.

Kind. Shanok is a kind person that is, if you are kind to him too, he has no problem with not respecting people that don't respect him either, because he doesn't care too much about what others think of him.

Patient. When somebody fails at something, or does something wrong, Shanok's not the type of guy to get mad about it, instead, he'll try to help that person the best he can.

» Flaws:
Antisocial. Shanok is not very good at interacting with other people, this is mainly the reason why he has so few friends, that doesn't mean he won't talk to you though, it'll just take him time to open up and speak more easily and casually with other people. Shanok managed to overcome his antisocial-ness when his friends are around, but when he's alone, he's still awkward to talk to.

Proud(In a bad way). Shanok's pride along with him being antisocial, can put him in some big troubles, even if he's having a really hard time, he'll have difficulty asking for help from others.

Reckless. When Shanok does something, he'll do it regardless of what could happen him. Shanok jumps in situations that could be dangerous for him, but he does it anyway as he feels that he must do it, in order to clear the game, he must take risks.

» Shanok made a few good friends in the game and joined a guild with them. His guild's main goal is to clear the game, which is why he and his friends must constantly augment their level and get better equipment.

Shanok was heading towards a wild boar that was not so far in front of him, he then stopped and though to himself "I should look around to make sure there aren't any other monsters around" and so he looks around, and doesn't notice any more monsters. He keeps heading towards the boar, who doesn't notice him. As soon as he is close enough, Shanok draws his starting straight single handed sword, places it behind him to activate his sword skill. The blade of the sword turns light blue as Shanok slashes the boar after a short dash and, surprise, he got a crit, killing the boar in a single hit. A window pops up in front of Shanok displaying the exp and money he gained from the boar. "Only that much? Leveling sure is gonna be long at this rate..." Shanok sheathes his sword, while wondering if there are many players that are trying to level up, instead of panicking.
