  1. Rusty continued to dig more and more before hitting a piece of rock harder than the others. He had  found another piece of iron ore, and it was a chunk of it, unlike the one had found earlier. He smirked at his success and this gave him the energy to keep searching for more, hopefully before nightfall. If he was going to make the weapons in his shop that were requested, he was going to need to find as much material as possible and this meant continuing to search as vigorously as possible. What bothered Rusty somewhat was how he snapped at the boar earlier. That wasn't like him at all and all that anger scared him a bit. He stopped this thought and decided to focus on the task at hand.

  2. It was getting late and the sun was setting on Aincrad. Rusty hurried up his little excavation mission and started to dig faster. After a lot of digging and excavating, he was finslly able to find a piece of iron ore and dig it out so that he could collect it. All he needed was a few more pieces and he would be able to finish up today's material gathering. Rusty got up from the now used area of stone and headed over to another one. This would be over soon.

  3. Rusty stood up at an instant, grabbing his sword and leaping at the boar. Vashtor had joined in the fight and tried attacking but to no avail, missed. Charging up his sword, Rusty ran at the boar and slashed at its side in the shape of X. Dashing backwards, he went to Vashtor's side. "If you want to risk your life, then switch." He said to his companion.

The boar disliked the arrival of the new boar and snorted in anger. It didn't matter though, the boy with reddish hair wasn't a very agile person and had failed in his attack against it. Dragging its hoof to charge up a run, the animal rushed the boy with the cold eyes. It then stomped at his face and knocked the boy to the ground. Success! It had managed to injure the player again and if it kept this up, it would be able to get rid of him for once.

  4. Rusty continued to mine at the ground. It was hard work, but it was infinitely better than fighting a boar and facing his posdible death. Although, it would be nice if he had a better tool to us besides his own weapon. It didn't matter though if he used a rapier or pickaxe, it was all down to whether he was lucky or not enough to actually find a piece of iron ore. Finally, he broke down into the dirt and found himself with no luck as he couldn't even find a piece of metal. "Damn it!"

  5. Rusty decided to instead try finding material in a non-combat way. He didn't need to fight a mob to gain anything, and if he wanted something, he should get it in a non-risky way. Looking around, Rusty searched for a place tobegin doing this. Finally, after searching for a few minutes, he found a large path of exposed stone ready to be mined. He walked over to it and began to start breaking it with with rapier. Unfortunately, he failed at this and the stone was broken with no material to be found at all. It didn't matter though, he could still try again.

  6. Rusty pondered on the question as he pace down the road before he decided to answer with the truth. "Its a... name people called me at school and not in a good way. Its supposed to mean that I'm like a old person since I tend to tell people to leave me alone like one of those stereotypical elderly person. I guess I kinda grew fond of it. Funny how I'm using a word people used to tease me." Rusty looked down. He didn't usually open up like this, but it just came out. It didn't matter though, now it was just a username and it couldn't really hurt him like it did anymore. Suddenly, Rusty found himself in front of the forest Axios was talking about. He crouched down to pick a cotton plant, but he ripped it in half, making it disappear into millions of pixels bits. "Damn it." he cursed, frustrated at not finding a material.

  7. Rusty quickly came running in with a charged rapier, running at the best with more vigor than before. This monster needed to die as soon of possible to lower the risk of anybody dieing to a low a percentage. Quickly running at the creature, he stabbed at its abdomen leaving a small red wound before jogging backwards to avoid an attack. He didn't do a lot of damage, but to Rusty it didn't matter. Every hit count and he would be dead before he let his stats bring his hopes down. "Switch!"

  8. Rusty continued to fight the boar, but he didn't feel any urge to fight. The only thing he felt was the warm summer air, but he felt that everywhere on this floor. At any moment, he could end the fight and do whatever he wants, but the boar was doomed to be trapped in this endless cycle of fighting. It almost wasn't right. This entire train of thought was broken by the incoming attack by the boar, in which it knocked Rusty's rapier out of his hand and also send him flying into a nearby tree. My h-head..

  9. Rusty quickly rose up from where he was and repositioned himself so that his legs were dangling off the side of the bench and he was facing the player who had awoken him. He frowned with annoyed look on his eyes as he observed the man. "Some people don't know when to leave others alone." he grumbled as he dropped down from the branch with his rapier in hand. Rusty then sheated it as to not provoke the person or to give the impression that he was hostile in a physical way. "What do you want?" he questioned, wanting to know the reason for his sleep to be interrupted. Then another voice came from another direction, and Rusty turned to look in the direction of the newcomer. "Oh what now?" Rusty muttered.

  10. Rusty continued to fight the boar with increased vigor. With his rapier in hand, he somersaulted over the beast and stabbed in its side. He had gotten the critical he so desperately wanted, although this wouldn't last long. The boar impaled his body with extreme prejudice and was able to knock him down, injuring him and making his health drop considerably. Rusty got up quickly however and continue to fight even with two red holes appearing in the are where he had been punctured.

  11. Rusty was originally going to be a happy, carefree person that had a love for old things. (Hence the name Rusty.) He wanted to be the center of attention and wanted to be the funny person in a group (to hide his bad past.. Now that I think about it.. the original Rusty would've been a lot like Mako from Kill La Kill) His face claim would've been Edward Elric and that's about it. Also, he would continue to have a happy exterior until he snapped where he would become one of that happy murderers. (Stepford Smiler. Search it up.)

So if you had original character concept for your roleplay character, post it here and let us know the original you(your character).

  12. Rusty continued to search the boar's corpse, but it no longer contained any sort of hide. Soon after, the body exploded into millions of tiny bits. It was no use, in order to get the boar hides they would need to fight 2 more boars. "Forest sounds good, lets go." Rusty said as he continued walking down the crossroads with his rapier in hand. He was fine, and he didn't understand why the player worried so much over him. So what if he died, at least it would be peaceful and painless. Ignorig these thoughts, Rusty focused more on finding the materials needed to finish the quest.

  13. Rusty overheard the two players talking about profession s, but even then he didn't want to get involved. He had finished his book and had nothing else to do. Getting up from his grassy seat, Rusty took out his rapier and pointed it at a random boar. If he wasn't going to talk and he couldn't read, fighting a boar would be the next best thing. Running at the standstill boar, he swiped his sword but he had missed. Fortunately, he was able to dodge the boar's counterattack.

  14. Rusty began to run around the humongous ice elemental, its large size proving to be formidable. He dashed at the beast with his sword in hand and slashed the face of the monster leaving a deep red gash along its face. Jumping  back down he went alongside the two, leaving the rest to them. Rusty needed to get a critical if he ever wanted to do enough damage to help fight the beast, but the only thing that would be useful right now would be some health crystals. "Switch!"

  15. Rusty stood quietly as the two discussed their outside life. He didn't want to interfere with their conversation so he headed back towards the tree where he was reading his leathery book and sat down. He didn't get why they were so willing to describe their personal lives to others. It didn't matter. He was going to leave the two to talk and maybe he could get the peace and quiet he so desperately wanted. Quietly flipping through the pages, Rusty continued to immerse himself deeper and deeper into the shell that he loved to hide in. He didn't like talking much and it wasn't important for him to talk, it wasn't as if his life depended on it.

  16. Welcome to SAO-RPG (I need to stop being so formal) and yeah. If you have any question, just ask the staff who I think will be happy to help you out and PM me if you would like to roleplay with me.

  17. I'd rather be back at home than in this game. Rusty sighed looking at the sunset again. It was fake and it wasn't genuine. There was no change in this world and it felt too.. joyful even though the threat of death hanged over everyone's shoulder. Although, here you could kill and probably get away with it. There were even ways to kill where there was no repercussions and you continue living safely inside the safe zones. It wasn't like in the real world, death was everywhere. There was no police and no government in place. It was basically anarchy. Then the man who had appeared said something that made Rusty grow quiet. He was a student in college, but aside from that his life was somewhat miserable. He had good grades, but nobody liked him really and he decided he didn't like his peers either. This left him incredibly lonely, aside from the companionship from his sister and his mom, but he had drifted away from them over the years. In fact, he figured everyone in his situation would like Aincrad better than the real world. Rusty didn't say a single word, however, and his oak eyes drifted downwards to the grass. He didn't want to remember the real world.

  18. "My name is.." Rusty paused for a moment, unsure of giving his real name or just to give his username. In the end, he didn't know these people very well so he decided to say his username. "Rusty." He replied. "The only view I wanted to get was my book, before tangerine head over there decided to annoy me to the fullest he could." he muttered, although in a low tone in the hope they didn't hear him. It was a nice view, but it was always there and it would never change. What would be nice to Rusty was if it rained a bit or if became cloudy. That way, he didn't have to make up a reason for why his expression never changed or why he didn't really show any emotion.

"Not counting the fact that we're trapped in a deadly game, it really is amazing just how far technology has come, we didn't have anything like this when I was your age."

That wasn't amazing at all, it was simple science and also the specific use of technology. "What's really amazing is that nobody saw the potential use of the NerveGear in a negative way. Something like this should have shown up in the bug-testing with so much hype surrounding the game." Rusty answered, before turning to look at the two players.

  19. Rusty already knew what had happened to War's brother. In the real world, it would be hard to tell but in here it was all that ever happened. He had died, probably to a player or a monster. This train of thought was broken when the man questioned why Rusty himself had many questions before giving his name. He didn't have any more questions after that so he didn't mind the question. "My name's Rusty.." he replied, still cautious of his surroundings. He didn't feel that much different, but he had a bad feeling about this person. What was also peculiar was that the player's name was War. Was this player a possible PKer or did he like fighting a lot? He couldn't tell, but Rusty continued to have his doubts about this mysterious man.

  20. Rusty dashed at the beast, its health was at the red and it was close to death. With the intent to kill, he slashed his sword at the beast's face and ended it's life. From its body was a small piece of hide that was needed to do the quest. Sighing in relief about the death of the animal, Rusty sat down to relax a bit. They still had to get 7 more items to finish the quest, but 5 of them could be done in a non-combat manner. Standing back up after a few minutes, he turned to Axios. "I rather not risk death, so how about we get the cotton and spiderweb fragments in a non-combat way so that we don't die from spiders and possibly sheep." It was going to be a bit more difficult, but it was necessary to avoid death by the monsters. While Rusty was at it, he gave the two boar hides to his party member seeing as this quest wasn't for him, it was for the boy.

  21. "Only if what?" Rusty questioned as he appeared from also nowhere and began to walk alongside the player. Something was off about this player and he wanted to figure out what. Quickly glancing at the man's face, he found a strange tint to his eye's, as if the person was unable to see. Obviously however, he wasn't blind since it would make no sense to play this type of this game if you couldn't see at all. His sword was unequipped since the player's stats weren't high and Rusty would easily be able to dodge any attempts on his life. Even then, there were guilds that used green cursors as a bait before sending out the real PKers, but this wasn't on hid mind. "You are bit different from the masses, I'm curious why." he said, giving his reasons for just walking up to the mysterious figure and asking him a question.

  22. "Most people don't think twice before they attempt to fight. I could just as easily wear starter gear and be in the high 20s levelwise and people would still pick a fight with me. But they don't. Usually because I'm that one person that's weird and not really approachable." Rusty replied, unwavering. What the boy said next was true however, he wasn't one to fight and most likely would never want to fight against another player. He nodded his head in agreement instead of offering words, but turned when a new person entered the field with them.

"Is there a problem here you two? I know it's none of my business but you've got one hell of a look on your face."

"So I've been told." Rusty answered, not faltered by the size of the player or by his muscles. There was a slight sarcastic tone to what he said, this was because he didn't appreciate being told the obvious. Also, he wasn't one to start an argument on purpose and rarely did Rusty's temper got out of hand. Nothing really angered him and he didn't care for being the right one in the argument since most people are stubborn in their beliefs.

  23. Rusty sat atop a branch in one of the redwood trees that populated floor 2. Although it wasn't too high off the ground, he did have trouble getting atop of one since he didn't have much experience tree climbing. Still, it gave relief from the countless mobs the floor had to give and he was pleased to have had a nice spot among the tree. The branch was big enough so that he could lay down against the reddish-brown bark, but small enough that anybody could see him from a bit of a distance. Although, if a person were to see him sleeping in a zone where players were able to be killed, they would assume he was high-leveled and therefore able to rest without an repercussions. Although he didn't have a book, Rusty was content enough to hang his legs from the branch and observe the woods from his viewpoint.

Of course, Rusty was still a bit worried about any possible attackers and so he had his rapier equipped and placed to the side of him in case of any problems that could occur with him being alone in the woods. The sun was brighter than ever and it shone through the somewhat thick treetops, lighting the area around him. He was in the dark, which was favorable to keep hidden. Rusty's short coffee-colored hair flowed through the air, which was a bit brisk but not so fast as to give discomfort. It was peaceful and quiet, and it felt like a weekend back in the real world. However, unlike most teenagers his age, he usually had these quiet days during the week since the lack of friends didn't give him any reason to go out with anyone and either he stayed at home, took a walk in the park, or just read a book outside. Even then, these moments were the ones Rusty cherished the most.

  24. Rusty grabbed his salvaged material in the hope of a better craft than the one before. All he wanted was to be able to make a weapon at the very least. He inserted the piece of metal inside the little stone furnace inside of his back room and let heat up for about 15 minutes. Taking it out with ease at to not deform it before he could form it into a shape of a weapon, he put out onto the table where he would take his hammer and make it into a proper sword. Rusty began to bring it down unto the metal and continued doing so until he found himself with a regular curved sword.

    Item: Metal Curved Sword
    Item Type: One-Handed Curved Sword
    Quality: Good
    Enchantments: N/A
Description: A typical sword with a curve to allow the user more leverage in battle.

It was something and if anyone wanted to buy, it was their. Happy with his attempt, Rusty sat down and began reading the book that he had put down earlier in the day.
