The queen went to strike at her again, but Azazel moved far too quickly to be hit by the damn thing.

Stuff was said and Azazel didn’t register. Why? Because many posts had happened between the time she first posted till now and that would have been too much for her writer to play catch up on so instead, we will fast forward to the actual battle.

Mari was on the move and things were going to unfold quickly. Azazel was excited to see exactly what Mari could do, especially since she was a dagger user. She was not a fan of the dagger. It was small, and rather cute; not something you head into battle with, and yet, her fearless leader did just that. Of course Mari sliced through one Nepent like it was butter, but that was to be expected.  Cro missed which was a bit surprising, but tiny Nepents were rather quick.  The new kid was a bit of a surprise. She was glad Mari had found herself a useful pet.  Azazel pulled Azurewrath from its sheath and attacked the closest Nepent.

Just as Azazel turned to leave to complete her quest, she was approached by a very tall, rather handsome man. “Oh…†Zaz said as she looked up at his face and then back over to the NPC. “Her kid is missing… I’m going to go find it.†She looked back over at the man, and smiled. “You know… a quest. It sounds easy enough.†He draped his weapon over his shoulder; it was the first time she’d seen a two handed wielder. “You wouldn’t mind joining me would you?’ she asked him. There was no real reason why she invited him along, other than it seemed like a good idea.

Her hair hadn’t been badly damaged, but the woman was still pissed off. She charged the wolf and slashed at it, but the wolf attacked her as well. It smacked at her and knocked her back rather harshly. Zaz was pissed. She was doing so well up until now, so she had no idea what the hell the problem was. The damn thing was already near dead, so she didn’t understand why he wouldn’t just die already!

Zaz smiled. “Oh it’s just a kiss on the cheek,†she clicked her tongue. Her lover was an incredibly jealous man and yet, she’d chance it.  Lowe named his terms and Azazel nodded. “Done deal, I wanted to go check things out up there myself. It’d be lovely if there were something like that.†Having a “From Here to Eternity†moment with Zero sounded rather lovely.

The pair reached their destination, and sure enough there was a large wasp sitting in the middle of a field. Without hesitating, Azazel rushed in as she withdrew Azurewrath from her sheath. The woman slashed away at the creature, but it seemed that the damned thing was ready for her. Zaz was smacked away by one of the creature’s large wings and she went tumbling back; it was a rather good shot. “You censored,†she spat and she readied herself to go again.

Anna tapped a finger to her cheek as she thought on what it was that she could possibly get from one of the adorable halves of Lowerence, and smiled mischievously. “If I win, I get a kiss!†Anna smiled. “Right here,†she added poking at her cheek. From the look of her travel companion he was rather confident that he would be the victor.

“And what about you… what must I do if you win?†she was curious to see what he might come up with.

** This thread takes place after the tournament duel vs Teayre. Azazel has already returned Kusanagi to its rightful owner. **

Anna found herself back on floor two. It was a place she rather loved because it reminded her of a great many things. The woman strolled along down the main path through the level rather aimlessly as she had nothing to do. As she went down the path, she found an female NPC running toward her.

“Oh please help!†the woman said as she approached.

“Ummm… why?† Zaz said rather puzzled, this was the first time she had even been approached by the game system without engaging it so she was a bit unnerved about the whole thing.

“My child is missing! PLEASE! You have to help find her. She was lost with a friend, but the friend has returned without my daughter. She says that they were taken by monsters to a cave, and that my child helped her escape to find help. Can you please go looking for her? You seem like a kind person.â€

A quest screen popped up and Zaz clicked the button to open it.

“Let there be light, huh?†Zaz read that name of the quest. “Sure…what the hell else was I going to do today?†she asked herself as she clicked the accept button.

Anna was too busy admiring the weapon to notice she was completely naked and out of the bath. “Oh sorry,†she said as she clicked the weapon back into her inventory.†I … want to use it,†she said and nodded with a stupidly huge smile on her face. “Thank you Mari, thank you so much!†she gushed.

Mari decided she’d had enough hot springs and got up to go,†Ohh…okay,†Zaz said slightly disappointed she had hopedf or more time with the woman. Before she left, Mari grabbed Anna’s face and planted a soft kiss upon her lips. Zaz felt warmth rush to her face as she was taken by surprise and found that she rather enjoyed the feel of Mari upon her skin. Her debt was paid with a single kiss and Mari walked off like it was nothing. Azazel however was left to melt into the water, blushing furiously as the woman walked away.

The sand potion thing

Mari spoke very interestingly, and then produced her blade from Azazel. “You want me to what?†she said curiously. Mari was her leader and she dare not obey so Anna clicked on the trade and accepted the blade and then stood she she could equip it. The weapon called Kusanagi was no longer a dagger but a beautiful rapier. It was blood red and there were snakes entwined around the hilt to protect her hand.

“This is amazing†she said admiring the weapon lustfully. It was perfect… far more than her Azurewrath.

Azazel laughed as very adorably naughty things slipped from Lowe mouth. He seemed quite unaware of what he was actually saying to her. It was no matter really, he was sweet and it was kind of funny watching the cute boy talk so dirty to her. If he weren’t taken, and she wasn’t half in love with Zero (though blissfully unaware of this) then she would’ve dragged him off to some in to see just how he handled that weapon of his.

“Challenge accepted cutiepie. What do I get if I win?†She asked him curiously wondering what he’d like to wager in this game.

“It’s fine. To be honest, I don’t socialize much myself, but I feel rather comfortable around you… so you know…†Anna said as she moved closer to where Mari was so they could talk. She sat a few feet from the pretty pink hair lady and stole a side glance at her bare form. She was lovely. Mari spoke againand Zaz averted her eyes so that she would not be caught staring. Mari’s question was a rough one.

“I’d like to say yes but I’m censored. Teayre hits harder than I do, but I can probably get new armor to deflect her attacks. She’s much swifter than I am as well. Especially since I’ll be losing my evasion bonus I gained from my armor for better protection from her hits. If I can get precision, I can cancel her speed, but that still doesn’t leave me looking good… barely breaking even. It might be as good as I can get in so small a time though.†She explained  the situation carefully.

Anna was glad Mari accepted the invitation. As Mari was a marked player, they had to take the long route but she didn’t mind; Mari was worth the trouble. The two walked awhile and eventually found themselves at the hot spring. Before Zaz even knew it Mari had disrobed and was in the water. She smiled as she checked out Mari before the pink haired woman got in the water. All in all this wasn’t a bad experience.  Zaz clicked hrough her inventory, putting everything up until she was undressed as well and joined Mari in the hot spring.

“This is rather pleasant isn’t it?†she said as she relaxed into the water.

“I happen to be a badass bitch,†Anna said as she elbowed the boy in the side. “You’ll see when I censored up this wasp queen’s censored up before you can get a hit in with your cute little toy.†She teased.  She was surprised the boy would choose a weapon like that. It meant fighting in close combat. Maybe he was little more badass than she thought he was.

“As for company… you’ll do,†she tease again.

Mari destroyed the heck out of the shark like it was nothing. The pair of women totally destroyed the shark before it could do anything to them. It was really kind of sad. The ended rather quickly, and now there was nothing for them to do but chill. Mari picked up the material and brought it to Anna.

“Thank you,†she said.  “Why don’t we get you out of here? I think there’s a hot spring on this floor, want to go? It’ll be my treat!†Anna said with a smile.

“You did what?†Azazel was mid attack when Mari told her she’d taken out the floor ten boss. She was so stunned by Mari’s words and actions that she overshot the shark  as it sanpped up  at her, but also missed and ended up in the dirt. Zaz popped up and dusted herself off.

“You’re so amazing… that’s awesome Mari…†she was so stunned she had no idea what to say.

“Don’t worry about it!†She told the woman, “You’re amazing!!!†Anna grinned as thinking how much she loved to watch Mari fight, “So is that amazing blade of yours… I don’t think you were using that the last time we went into battle,†Anna said looking at the shiny piece curiously wondering if Mari would let her inspect it after the fight. “We’ll still crush this thing in no time.† With the creature at half health in only three hits from the pair, they were doing rather well.

Zaz moved in and ran her rapier into the creature again cutting down more of its health. She supposed she was doing so well because the one she admired so greatly was watching her. The Shark rose up onto the sand to try and clamp down on Azazel with its huge jaws but the woman hopped back to safety.

Anna smiled as Mari asked her why Azazel would want to watch her back. She would have to explain, just not now. The giant shark was her first priority. While Mari had it busy with her attack Anna went in and slashed the thing again. Her blade Sliced cleaning against the gills and the large creature. “YES!†Anna hissed as this was going far better than she thought. With so much help from Mari she and the woman were crushing the beast without any real effort.  The shark snapped at them, but both women were far too fast for the damn thing to catch them.

Azazel was all over the place, once second she was making amazing attacks, the next she was bombing hardcore. It was the way of things which totally sucked but it happened. As she went to hit the wolf again she swung and hit nothing but air. It seemed that the wolf was also having some trouble as it swiped its paw at her and got nothing but a few strands of her long dark hair.

“Bastard!†she cursed as she checked to see how much of her hair it’d cut.

Anna needed to get things done and quickly. She only had a matter of hours before things were to begin and she still wanted to at least attempt sleep so that she could have some chance against her little red friend. She had no idea what it’d be like to face Teayre in actual battle, but she was about to find out.

With all this going through her mind Azazel’s body just reacted to the duel without any thought. The woman avoided being anywhere near the attacks of the wolf and  ran her blade clean through the wolf before shed even realized what she had done. Zaz pulled her blade from the creature and watched its health fall fast. 

Zaz smiled. She didn’t know Lowe well, but he was a nice boy, it was why she decided to help him out in the beginning.  â€œYou are very handsome,†she laughed and patted Lowe’s cheek, “And I don’t know this boyfriend of yours but I’m sure he would cry if you were lost. Guess I’ll have to do my damndest to keep you from dying then. You look rather weak and girly,†she teased. He asked why she needed his help and Azazel smiled. “I needed the company. I hate doing these things alone. “She always remembered Cro’s words to never go alone. If she happened to die, she’d want someone to know about it.

“What kind of weapon do you use anyway?†she asked him curiously.

Zaz hurried after Mari and followed her downhill into the sand dunes where the sand shark lived. Mari said she wasn’t sure why Anna was so worried about the tournament, but Anna knew she had every right to be. The woman went even further to tease that she’ll have to watch her back, but Zaz never had any intention to harm Mari, ever. Women like them needed to stick together, not fight each other.

 â€œI have level… not skill. I haven’t been able to balance the two, not yet. Teayre has been at this much longer than I, and she has skill and level. I’ve only gotten lucky in one fight so far, so I need to do better. Also, you won’t have to watch your back, I’ll grow stronger and watch it for you…â€She explained to Mari.

The pair didn’t have to go far before Anna noticed something odd about the sand. There seemed to be movement, where there was nothing there. “I think it’s found us…†Anna said with a smile as she pulled Azurewrath from her sheath. A thin line of sand rustled toward her and Zaz plunged her rapier down into the ground. The ground moved beneath her and a hole formed revealing the creature as it tried to snap at her. Zaz pulled her rapier from its back and kicked at the damn thing as it tried to bit at her.

“Well isn’t that something,†she said eyeballing the gigantic tan shark.

Azazel smiled as Mari draped herself upon Zaz’s shoulder and told her that once the quest was complete she’d be calling in her favor. Anna nodded resolutely; she would keep her promise no matter what it was that Mari asked of her. “But of course, I owe you for all you’ve already done for me… even more no,†she explained.

“I know it’s hot… I will do my best to make fast work of this so we can get you somewhere more comfortable so you don’t melt on me.†She laughed. A party request was sent and Anna accepted it. “There… now we’ll both reap the rewards. Now let’s get going… I would very much love to see you kill this thing in one shot,†Zaz never ceased to be impressed by Mari’s skills. The lady was just ridiculously overpowered, and it was pretty censored great.

Anna wanted to murder Lowenthal. Okay murder was a bit strong, but the woman was severely disappointed in her tailor. She asked he young man to make her something special and he failed… miserably. While they could do nothing about that now since she was out of time and he was out of crafting chances for the day, she decided to have the young man make it up to her by having  him complete a quest with her. Not knowing his level or ability, she chose and easy one, and they were to take on the wasp queen on floor two.

Zaz had not completed this quest before. She had tried to take it on with a young man and Hikoru, but they never did complete it. They had lsot each other along the way and Zaz and Hikoru went for a walk instead. It’d been awhile since she had heard from the young man she promised to help, but she knew he was still alive and kicking somewhere. She looked at the adorable young man who walked beside her and smiled softly.

“Don’t die on me… I can’t have that today,†she told him rather seriously.
