  1. Ashtver accepted the Col and materials, and listened to Takao explain that he was meeting up with Hasai later - although he seemed somewhat bashful as he said it. Ashtver grinned in delight and nodded in confirmation. He reopened the trade menu and sent the materials back to Takao.

"Please tell her that I'd like a dagger, in case I get into some close combat, y'know?" he asked Takao with a wide grin.

Ashtver watched as Ren hesitantly accepted the friend request. He didn't blame the kid, this world was dangerous, and those that you trust could backstab you at any moment. If anyone pulled a knife - or a sword, more accurately - on his friends, they'd be on his kill list. Takao accepted soon after, and Ash turned on his heel, before calling back over his shoulder.

"I'll see you soon, 'kay?" he finished with a wave over his shoulder as he made his way out of the cave and back into the open.

(NO IDEA why it changed my account over xD)

  2. "Well, nothing much has happened today. Wake up, walk around meet new people, do whatever people do," he replied half-heatedly. He heard the other man, the one that looked slightly tankier, speak in somewhat fragmented English, but Ashtver could make out what he was saying and it had him running his mind in circles like a dog chasing its tail.

"Japanese? Man, all of you are coming across as speaking English to me, and I'm speaking English to you guys, so maybe there's some kind of translation system?" he replied, still rather stumped. He shrugged it off and turned to watch Ren engage the boar, barely missing the creature. Ashtver smirked; of course he missed. He knew Ren too well, even if only after fighting alongside him once. He was letting Haseo deal with his own problem. If Ren took the kill, the new guy wouldn't learn a thing about combat.

Ashtver continued to watch the amusing fight, a large, shining grin on his face.

If only death weren't a problem.

  3. Ashtver attempted to suppress a chuckle when the chest spat the chewie at Takao, belching fire into his face. Ultimately, he failed and burst into laughter that echoed within the cave, possibly waking up half the mobs. He covered his mouth as Takao listed the items, and the materials and Col seemed rather enticing. As Golden declined the offer, Ash put his hand up.

"I'll gladly take the Col," he said before looking to Ren, "But if Ren wants it, he can have it. I will be taking the material though; I'll add that to the leftovers I'll give to that Hasai girl," he finished, and turned to wave at Golden as he left. He looked back at Takao and cocked his head, "Am I able to send her the materials though? I feel my introduction to her would go a lot smoother if it didn't had any trading to do with it," he asked, before remembering something.

He opened his menu and brought up the Friends List and entered Takao, Emblem and Golden's names into it, sending each of them a request. Once finished, he gave them all a goofy grin as usual.

  4. The silver Wolf curled around her baby, ready to guard it with her life. She snarled at the boy with the spear, willing him to back off, but he didn't lower his guard. She knew she could kill him, one hit would be all it took. She looked to her baby before uncurling and striding in front of her opponent and readied to kill him...

    -----

Ashtver watched as the parent Wolf uncurled from its baby and readied to attack him again. It wasn't going to be too hard to kill. It began to charge at him, teeth bared and nostrils flared, aiming for his chest. Bad move, Wolfy... He told it in his mind...

But he never got the chance to counter. He felt a painful grabbing on his good wrist and pulled away from the spear in shock, barely dodging the oncoming Wolf torpedo. the baby Wolf was latched onto his wrist and biting down hard. This time it was the parent's turn to knock him down. He felt a heavy tail slam into the back of his legs, sweeping them out from under him and allowing the baby Wolf to get on his chest and massacre him.

As his health began to drop, he opened a message to Hasai, a tear in his eye as he typed, "Pass the item on to someone else,"

GAME OVER were the last words he read before he felt his body and items dissipate into shards of data, unseen by anyone ever again.

  5. "End goal, huh?  Death?" he questioned, "I've never really paid much mind to those two things as of yet, and that will possibly be fatal to my health," he gave a light chuckle, "Umm... I guess I just want to clear the game, see what happens.  I mean, staying down on the lower floors isn't what I'd call living.  Sure, you can get a job and get experience and all that, but that's not what makes the game so amazing, yet so deadly at the same time," he rambled on, "I want to clear the game, but not for myself.  I want to clear it for all those who lead better lives in the real world than myself.  People are scared here.  They go insane and too many kill themselves, thinking that what the GM said was a lie.  I don't believe that.  There are people in this world who can actually do things like that," he finished.

Ashtver accepted Takao's high five with a grin, before his teacher spotted something in the distance and went to check, calling back to the group, telling them that it was a chest.  Ashtver leaped to his feet quickly and bolted over by Takao's side, his ocean blue eyes glimmering in front of the large box which was hopefully filled with loot.  He looked to Ren behind him, "Yo, Ren, you gonna come and check out what loot we get?"

  6. (Yeah, Emblem's right, you need to use the Dice for any form of combat.  Also, it's better to keep the posts in a set post order, otherwise everyone's all over the place, so I think we should stick with Gold > Haseo > Klick > Emblem > Ash)

This Haseo boy seemed to be quite socially awkward, a little the opposite of Ash.  He pulled his hand back and cleared his throat as he turned back to face Golden.

"Man, I still remember my first Boar fight.  That was... catastrophic, at the very least," he pondered over his first battle; a battle in which he had to hide behind Takao and attack from afar with his spear.  Ash nodded in agreement as he popped his spear from his sheath and watched Haseo take on the Boars.  However, before long yet another player had approached them, and seemed just as socially awkward as Haseo, seemingly asking if they were in a Party.

"No, we're not in a party just yet," he reassured this player.  He also heard a familiar voice beside him, somewhat younger than most.  He turned to face the blond-haired figure of Emblem, "Yeah, nice to see you to, Ren," he greeted him as the boy unsheathed his sword.  Ash decided that he'd let Haseo and Ren get the Boar down.  He was just happy to chill with Golden.

  7. The weakened Wolf still had quite the fight in it.  It rushed Ash once more, but he before he could counter, the baby Wolf ran through his legs, causing him to lose balance and fall on his rear, only to have his abdomen mauled by the furry attacker.  He tried pushing the Wolf off, but it continued to eat him.

The only way he would get it off is to focus its attention on something else.  He raised his spear up, horizontal to the ground, and the entire spear glowed indigo.  Usually, the move would be a stabbing motion, but instead, Ash released the spear as he finished stabbing forwards, sending the spear flying at the baby Wolf.  It sliced into its stomach, and it fell to the ground, whimpering.  The larger Wolf stopped attacking, and its ears pricked up as it looked at its injured kin.  It dashed over and curled its body around its child.

"One more attack like that's gonna finish me," he told himself, grunting as he picked himself up, now weaponless.

  8. The larger Wolf was the first to strike.  It bolted at Ashtver in the blink of an eye, but didn't get to do anything as a spearhead entered the back of its neck, piercing through and entering its chest too.  However, the spearman was too distracted to remember the beast had a child.  He felt a set of sharp teeth pierce into his right leg, and he groaned in pain as he went to kick the baby.

However, the rebel child wasn't done yet.  It jumped over his kick and sank its tiny, but very sharp, jaws into his right ribs, and he yelled out as he retracted the spear from the large Wolf and tried elbowing the minuscule assailant.  The baby wolf dropped off of its partial dinner and backed off, both Wolves circling him some more, the larger Wolf doing so with raspy breaths, a fire in its eyes.

  9. The Wolf circled around the boy, watching his muscle movements.  He didn't look like he was going to attack without provocation, but he didn't look off-guard either.  The best way to deal with this; bring in some reinforcements...

The giant Wolf began to howl out into the orange sky for some reason.  Was it surrendering?  Was it injured?  Or maybe...

His final thought was correct.  He heard a rustling in the bush behind him and turned in time to see a Wolf pup jump at him.  He simply raised his spear to stop the baby's attack, and it instead maneuvered around to land on the grass, before running back over to its parent - was it a father or mother?

The two beasts split up and began to circle him, ready to pounce at a moment's notice.  He had not anticipated this turn of events.

  10. As Ashtver was about to take a swig out of his water bottle, his break was soon interrupted by low growling behind him, followed by a sort of roar as the possible Wolf leaped at him.  Reacting quickly, the spearman spun around, the head of the spear glowing a hot white.  He impaled the giant Wolf in the abdomen, before rolling backwards and kicking the Wolf off of his weapon, sending it sprawling.

He glanced at the rounded health bar of the larger Wolf.  It was definitely higher level; it was both larger and had more health.  Ashtver grinned slyly.  That wasn't going to stop him in the slightest.  He stood up straight, his water bottle still in hand.  He took a large swig from it, before proceeding to scull the entire beverage.

He threw the empty bottle in front of the Wolf, "Here, have a present," he taunted, still smirking.

  11. Ashtver huffed and puffed as he stuck his spear in the ground.  If he was going to get stronger in this world, it was going to be through training out of combat, because he couldn't always rely on the system to lend him a hand.  He looked around at his surroundings.  No mobs nearby, but off in the distance he did see a large pack of boars, and even further past, quite the familiar face.

Ashtver sheathed his spear and began to sprint around the side of the boar herd towards the two players conversing.  Hopefully he was distracted enough to not notice Ashtver...

He silently slid to a stop behind the two and pressed a finger to his lips when he looked at the new player.  He snuck up behind the closer player and gave him a poke to the back of the neck.

"Boop," he said, playfully, as he pulled away and sidestepped into the player's vision, "What's new, Golden?  Kicking butt and taking names still?" he asked, before turning to the other player, a friendly smirk on his face and offering a hand to him, "Hey there!  Nice to meet ya!  The name's Ashtver, but please, just call me Ash," he introduced himself.

  12. "Yeah... I'm good!" Ashtver called back to Takao, who had shown concern for Ash. He looked over to Golden watch him retire arms before sitting down and getting a bottle of water, leaving the final blow to Ash. He was determined to get the kill. He watched the Cyclops turn to face him, and he crouched low. His gaze followed the club that was coming crashing down towards him, and he jumped back as it made contact with the rocky earth.

He then jumped forwards and proceeded to run up the club and arm

Of the Cyclops, delivering a large soccer kick to it's left jaw. He used the Cyclops's head as a launch pad to push himself backwards and land on the ground beside his spear. The enraged beast turned it's single eye towards him and began to rush him, club held high over its head. As the club came down for the final time, Ashtvet launched himself in the air, his spear glowing vermillion, and impaled the head of the spear into the giant's jaw, causing the creature to explode into shards and let Ash drop to the ground, where he sat, placed his spear beside him and casually brought out bread and water, a content smirk on his face.

  13. Hey all! The name's Ashtver, but you can all just call me Ash! I probably should have posted earlier, but while I'm still low enough level to be considered 'new', thought I may as we'll drop a topic ^^

Lemme keep this short and sweet:

Basic info: Male, turning sixteen later this year

Hobbies: Gaming and writing (both novelwriting and RPing). Apart from that, I'm freaking boring. Oh, not to mention I like to flirt with any and all matter of cute girls.

Likes: Gaming, writing, sushi, anime, anything Japanese, cute girls.

Dislikes: People hurting my friends, animal cruelty, any kind of -ist.

    Well, that's all for now!

  14. (Golden, not sure whether the same rule applies to blocking with shields, but I think you might actually be on 38/39 HP, as the rules say MIT won't take damage down past 1. I'm unsure if that's the same for shields, though ^^ Also, NOW happy birthday Takao!)

Ash watched as Golden took a blow from the Cyclops with his shield before delivering a blow himself. It was at death's door, and Ash was going to take his chance to finish it. He readied himself once again and charged the distracted Cyclops, aiming for the back of its knee...

He didn't pay attention to the incoming fist. The Cyclops swung a backhand at Ash, and he did what he could to block, but still suffered damage, his spear flying across the cavern in the process. He slunk away quickly, not impressed he failed another attack.

  15. Ashtver watched Ren and Takao finish off the Cyclops, neither of them losing too much health.  They had finished much quicker than Ash and Golden were about to, but that was mainly due to the spearman's inexperience.  Soon enough, he watched Golden launch another attack onto the beast, but soon after he was punched away by the gargantuan's fist.  Without any time to react, a giant club came swinging down towards Ash and it connected with his midsection and sent him sprawling across the ground.  In a real life situation, that would have shattered his entire ribcage.

Ash picked himself and his spear back up and he readied the weapon at his side.  He charged in to attack the Cyclops's leg, but the giant creature seemed to have seen the attack from a mile away and pivoted its colossal leg away, causing Ash to have to drop from his overextended lunge into a roll to safety.

He just hoped Golden could get it while it was still distracted.
