  1. They were going on a trip outside the walls of the beginning town and he was a little excited actually. They were going to be able to  test their strength against the mobs and monsters of this new world. If he had been with anyone else it was possible that he might have second guessed their travelling. But he trusted Kiso and he would watch her back just like she would do for him. The young gamer didn't even question that thought. For the past few days they were getting to know each other. After effectively acquiring their travel gear they were off. While they would be exposed to the world it would be interesting to spend the night outside of the town. There was always a dark cloud of despair hanging over the town of beginnings. So much doubt and depression was just a little too much for his liking. It wasn't even like he could help them too much. All he could do was keep pushing on and just wish them the best with surviving until someone cleared the game. Honestly Cyrus wasn't even too hard pressed to do that either. Of course he had a life in the real world and family. But they were going to be okay. The only thing that made him want to complete the game eventually was that he didn't want his body to die in the real world.

While they were walking Cyrus did a little stretching which was kind if pointless in the game. "Yeah I managed to make a katana with my knew skill. It has some high damage. But I wasn't able to pick up any armor yet. I'm trying to get something rather specific made. My sword arts with my katana skill are pretty effective though. Together we should be able to take down monsters strong enough to drop some loot." Walking out of the gate with Kiso this moment was when their real adventure started. They had been all but playing around up until this point. They were fairly behind the frontlines at this point. But that time spent had not been done so idly. They knew a lot about their world now and would be able to catch up fairly easily if they tried. It was time to set his master plan in motion too.

  2. Cyrus just shrugged it didn't bother him to buy Kiso dinner. Chivalry had still been taught to him and engraved into his very being. Even in this game where it was easy to lose your humanity in a place where there was no real law. As his counterpart went about turning in her quest and doing what needed to be done he just stood around going through his menu. It was still looking rather bare even with all the work they had been doing lately. Starting from the beginning in a game was never too much fun. Or perhaps it was just because he didn't like being weak. But before he could even get too deep in thought his partner had returned and was talking about revising their evening.

There wasn't any resistance from his lips when their evening had turned into a camping trip. This was the moment he had been waiting for. The original point of their team up had been that they were just two badasses that would be able to handle the world of SAO. However they had never been able to test themselves truly against the wild. It was necessary for them to wait as long as they did so there wasn't too much complaining while they got stronger. But now they were ready to face the first level. The monsters that wandered the first floor weren't going to be too much trouble for the duo. "Yeah let's do this. I've been waiting to hear you say that. Did you have a specific location in mind?" This was the moment of truth. Would they rise or crumble when faced against the various mobs out in the fields? All their talk of being better than the zombie like players in the city would be for nothing if they couldn't handle themselves.

If not for anyone else Cyrus wanted to at least prove to himself that he wasn't just talking just to be talking. He was a man of action and he would let those actions back up his words.

  3. The smile that was able to sneak onto Kiso's face was noticed and noted. Cyrus knew that she could do more than scowl and roll her eyes. There was something beyond that tough exterior that she carried and he wanted to know what was behind it. The moment didn't last too long because now they were nearing the end of this quest. They were both tired of just sitting around gather materials all day. Honestly the young gamer had been interested in testing out his abilities against some mobs but the duo had been careful so far in doing so. While they were probably a dynamic duo it was probably better for them to be prepared rather than just jumping in. However Cyrus knew whenever Kiso was ready to tear up some mobs he would be right with her. The comment she made interested him but he didn't want to read too far between the lines. Instead he would wait to her it from her directly. "Lead the way madam Kiso."

While he might have said lead the way they ended up walking side by side back to the city. There was silence for a moment and Cyrus peaked over to his companion and eyed her carefully. She was deep in thought and it made him curious. And then there was a laugh. This wasn't something that had been common when they first met but it was starting to come out more. Perhaps there actually was some sort of bond forming here. The comment she left him with resulted in a nod from the young gamer there was no doubt in his mind. "Yeah I think we've run these question far enough for now. Dinner is on me tonight where do you want to eat?" His silver eyes were searching for her interesting blue ones. There was still so much more he was curious about but it was better to just find out over time rather than ruining the surprise. Before he could forget though he sent over all of the materials he gathered that day.

  4. Cyrus contemplated their position for a while not sure exactly if this was a good idea. This decision could possibly be his final one and the young gamer wasn't exactly sure he wanted to risk that. "Hhhmm perhaps another time then... I'm built for damage not really for taking on heavy amounts of damage. It might have been possible if we were closer in level maybe. Not to say you wouldn't be able to handle yourself." While she seemed like she was a great fighter he wasn't entirely sure about their chances against the mobs at the moment. Patience would be needed for now at least. It only took one wrong move for them to end up in a very bad situation with no way out. Perhaps when she was farther along her healing path this team up would work. "I thought we told each other earlier?" Perhaps he just never responded to her earlier question but he was quite sure he did. Either way he didn't make a big deal out of it. "How familiar are you with the combat system? Did you need more practice?"

The white haired man stood in an alert position keeping his eye on the horizon with the occasional glance. While they talked he just casually looked for materials. He would be needing A LOT more if he was going to get any better than rank one. It would acquire a lot of forging and time to get high enough to start forging his own armor. His casual search turned up nothing once again. Perhaps all of his luck had run out from the hours he spent looking with his partner.

  5. It was quiet in the forge and very empty before the door swung open by Cyrus. The weather outside was getting rather dangerous so his exploring of the 7th floor ended earlier for that day.  No new materials to speak of really but his current stash would hold nicely. Lately he had been slacking and it was a little aggravating to think of the progress he could have made by now. But that was neither here nor there at this point. Instead he would put all of that passion into his work. Unequipping his boots at the door he  was walking to the back of the shop when a thought came to mind. It would have been nice to have a companion creature or two. While Kiso was definitely enough to keep him occupied there were times when they weren't together. And at the moment there was no one else to trust. It was a thought he would have to keep in mind. The white haired male went to work forging away. While it probably didn't help too much he attempted the same diligence he put into his new katana. Racking up on different types of katanas would be useful later. Already having produced a high damage sword already he liked to have options.

A fail and a success. It would do for now...

  6. As they continued their talk Cyrus was continuing to search. He was turning up a lot more than Kiso was so of course he didn't mind helping her out. There were sure to be moments when he was going to need her assistance with something he couldn't do too well. Their conversation was starting to get a little serious which made Cyrus look in the direction of his partner. The mood as well as the air was growing stiff. When she went on to explain just how bad she just a shrug came from him before speaking. "Just sounds like you survived the harshest trials of life to me. All of that matters less in comparison to who you're trying to be now." While personally his life never got that dark there had been one or two people who he witnessed going through what she went through. And to him the fact that she was able to pull her life together spoke volumes. It's so much easier to just give up and give in to your situation.

"I think you're a fighter like you said. Your strong minded and strong willed. You past only shaped you into something better. While that reckless tongue of yours can use some work you're tolerable." The mood was still fairly serious but rather than let this moment eat at both of them Cyrus wanted to relieve her of some worries. It was possible she didn't care about him at all or what he thought. But he still made a point to try. When she spoke about them breaking their agreement he immediately started shaking his head denying that option. After she spoke the young gamer just spoke plainly. "I'm not going anywhere. I'm your partner now so I accept everything dark past and all. I'm honored that you confided this in me though."

Their serious talking did distract him though and he didn't turn up anything valuable for her quest. It didn't faze him though and the young gamer just continued his search idly.

  7. Cyrus was another guarded individual even if he didn't seem like it. He liked to think he was a great judge of character. While he was more social and open about a few things he never went into far details. But he was never two faced. If he didn't like you all smiles were gone and there was no pretending. Everyone starts off generally at ground level and most usually stay there or go in the red. The very few that make enough of an impression gaining either his trust, respect, or interest are the ones that learn more. Even then he's very careful. At the moment Kiso had all three which is rather rare for him. Out here beyond the safe zone she was the first one that he felt he could let his physical guard down some. When she went on to answer her own question a smile came to his face. After getting to know her more these type of answers were expected and were normal for the raven haired woman. It seemed they would both be able to sleep peacefully though so that was a good thing,

They were moving just as she was explaining her pet peeves. They didn't really bother or make much of an impression on him because they didn't apply. But he just nodded anyways. "I don't think I have anything specific as a pet peeve. If anything I just have my values and if those are broken by someone who knows them then I'm irritated." Following along the young gamer took a moment to just taken in the scenery around him. This was also a great chance to see just what was going on around them. Cyrus didn't want to be at a disadvantage having a mob just pop up on them. But they seemed far enough away. Basics of RPG's were to keep a certain amount of distance from aggressive mobs or they would activate. Kiso didn't need to be told this apparently because they were doing fairly well avoiding them. And he would have been the first to redirect them if she started moving too close. For now though he kept his mouth shut and just watched. There was also a question to answer. "Without pouring my heart out I would have to say relationships. They don't seem to ever work out so I stopped trying."

As they searched for a new spot to gather his eyes were peeled trying to find the next piece of material. Rather than giving them to her one by one he was just going to give all of the mats he found away. They didn't have anything to do with Blacksmithing so there was no point in keeping them. The search continued even though he didn't find anything.

  8. The boar had been dealt with but it was also very low level. It honestly was just a test to see how well Airi could do and make sure he didn't die in the process. It might have been a little too cautious but it was better to just dip a toe in the water rather than diving into deep waters. But the red haired girl did quite well and he was sure she could handle something a little stronger the next time. Together they were doing a minimum of four base damage if they both hit. It was possible they would be able to handle something that would drop loot also. "You did good Airi I wasn't expecting you to fit in so easily on the first try. Very smooth. I'll give you a chance to recover your energy. Did you want to try something stronger maybe even something that would drop loot?" This was going to be harder on them given their mismatched levels. With Cyrus being higher it would require a stronger mob to drop anything. But it would also put Airi at a disadvantage more than him. Cyrus didn't want to just rush in without asking her first. If she wasn't ready he would just stay on the lower end of things. This wasn't really a trip to acquire loot but more to feel the healer out and see if their would be some possible association later.

In the mean time while he waited for her energy to recharge he looked for more materials. This was a habit that he was starting to establish. It was easier to casually look for equipment while out with others than to spend an entire day focused on it. And his commitment to his craft was rewarded.

  10. April 05 Crafting

asleep on the couch probably wasn't a good idea but apparently he was more tired than he thought he was. Gathering materials sometimes took a little more time and dedication than normal. Some days you got lucky. Other days you just had to bite the bullet and continue on. Rather than just sitting around it was probably better if he got up and did some crafting for the day. Rising from the couch with a super long stretch was more a habit than anything. SAO was pretty realistic but there was only so much of the real world that you could recreate in a game. The need to stretch was one of those things. Walking to the back of the forge he opened up his menu taking out a snack to much on for the moment. It was great that they could simulate food. Being trapped in this game actually unable to eat would start to just feel wrong. Everyone had their favorite snacks.

Pulling out his required equipment he decided to forge some swords again. This time he was focused on creating at least one katana. The basic one he was carrying now was alright but he needed more combat power. At the moment his health was mediocre and he could last long enough to take a few hits. But if he wanted to avoid a sticky situation ending battles quickly with power, accuracy, and speed would be the better choice. His forging was diligent and as he carefully crafted his efforts were rewarded with a perfect item. The excitement that brewed inside the young player was crazy. His failures from the previous day were washed away with this success. The overwhelming success made him want to try again for at least a good item. The second try was a failure but it didn't kill his mood too much. His focus was now on polishing up his perfect Katana.

  11. April 04 Crafting

Cyrus walked into his shop and immediately felt at peace. It took quite some time to find the perfect spot to place his forge. It wasn't even in a place where one could just pass by it and walk in. While Cyrus could have pressed it set up shop in a heavy traffic area owning a forge wasn't his end goal. It was a nice thing to have and would bring in the occasional coin but it was more for personal use. The Skyforge was just a place to relax and spend time working on his skill. It was built in mind to accommodate more than just a few people. Probably because he planned on having a healthy amount of associates. Taking off his shoes at the door was a ritual he was used to. Walking past the lounge and behind the counter he went to work pulling out all the materials he would need. This would be the very first time he would be forging something and it was making him a little nervous.

With his skill in blacksmithing so low it wasn't even guaranteed that he would be able to make anything at all. But he had to start somewhere to get his skill up. If he continued to make things when he had available time then it wouldn't take long to get to a higher rank. The young gamer took his time forging the first item hoping his diligence would be rewarded. Instead he failed and the sword he attempted to forge crumbled away into nothingness. It hurt to see his material go to waste. But that didn't stop him and he tried again. This time he tried to just relax and hope for the best. Again he failed and it honestly pissed him off. However he was able to salvage his material so he just took what he could get and left the forge to rest in the lounge.

  13. Among the High Fields of Crossing stands a two story shop founded and ran by Cyrus Silverra. The ambitious player sought to take on the fields as his haven. At a much higher altitude than the rest of the floor it provided a nice get away area. While there were no mobs to bother anybody it was not guarded to make it a safe area. However it was becoming known that anyone that poached near Cyrus' shop would be dealt with by the man himself.

The sign that hung above his store was labeled The Silverra Skyforge which was so fitting. On the high table land one felt much closer to the sky. And at night all of the stars were plain to see. Rumor had it that the young Silverra was learning to catch falling stars to forge them into amazing pieces.

Once you entered the shop there was a foyer designed with hints of Japanese culture. A large sign immediately says 'Please remove shoes at the door or no service."  If you immediately turned right there was a lounging or waiting area. Fully furnished with plenty of things to do while waiting. Further beyond the foyer there was a counter where transactions were handled. And behind the counter is where all the magic happened. There were some stairs out of view back there. And to gain entrance to the second floor required for one to know the blacksmith in more depth before going up there.Rumor has it that he kept his most valuable materials up there to craft more specific items tailored to the requester.

  14. When Cyrus spoke it was more so to figure out the mental state of the player he was speaking to before continuing the conversation. It could have been possible that the whole ordeal shocked her into silence. But when Nashoba replied it was hard not to let out a sigh of relief. She seemed fairly normal for the most part so some conversation wouldn't be so bad. It was her response that made him chuckle though. "You're quite right. You have a lot more heart than most people right now." The accent she spoke with was enough to keep him interested in what she was saying. When another approached them it made Cyrus aware of his surroundings. There was no need to be on edge so he was relaxed. Inside the safe zone he wouldn't have to worry about somebody literally trying to stab him in the back. But he wanted to see who was walking up on him.

The arrival of the plated man was interesting. For the most part he seemed rather friendly so Cyrus relaxed his guard just slightly. This was another player that didn't seem to be losing his mind due to the news. It was rare to see someone with a strong will to move on past what they were just told. Either he was psychotic or knew how to make this situation work for him. If it was the latter it would make things that much more interesting. Two players finding two players with such a strong mind set was fairly interesting. While he would continue on with this small talk he kept an eye on their behaviors. It was possible they had the courage to make it beyond the first few levels. Even making a few associates would benefit him later on.

  15. Drawing his own curved sword Cyrus started his look for their first mob to encounter. This wasn't going to be anything fancy really. For the most part he was pretty confident in his skills as a gamer. To him this was something rather simple. While on the surface a lot of things might have been different it all came down to how well he could play. To him this was something that you were either good at or you weren't. Especially for a game that wasn't turn based. This was real time. So he wasn't going to put his life in the hands of someone he just met. It also didn't really help that she was level one. It also didn't help that his goals for the day had changed. There was no fear in her eyes and that gained her a little respect. She didn't look like the type to be able to keep all her eggs in one basket when faced with real danger. But looks could be very deceiving. The fact that she was looking for materials said a lot already.

Spotting a mob by itself Cyrus decided to make it their first victim. "Alright let's see what you got Red." The way he said it wasn't like he forgot her name but more so to provide a lighthearted mood. It was kind of necessary based on this type of situation that could be their end. Fortunately it was super weak so that chance was very low especially with his level. Starting things off first he charged the boar having his curved sword ready. Out of habit he drew it like it was a katana instead of a regular sword. So much practice with his new skill made it muscle memory. The draw style he learned was also an attack great for starting combat. Apparently the game was going to acknowledge it as a valid attack because he was able to catch the pig off guard landing a critical hit. Hopefully Airi caught on and would attack right after him.

  16. Cyrus took the message from Kayaba better than most. There was no use in panic instead walking and thinking was a much better use of time. The many shocked and despair written faces faded from his attention. It seemed like this was all going to be the real deal so he took all the information released with a grain of salt. Prior to getting the message from the creator of the tower he had been doing some research into the game. It was probably going to be better if he just continued to do more research. This game had become life or death. Knowledge would be power at the end of the day. If he could figure out just how most of the game mechanics worked he would be a step ahead. A lot of players would either race out to the fields to be the first ones to level up or stay behind and form alliances and group up.

The young gamer didn't exactly fall into either party. Prior to this game becoming so serious there had already been a plan forming in his mind. The way SAO could be played gave room for a lot of ideas and ambition. Now more than before his plan had become an actual goal rather than a possibility. There was no way he was going to die on the lower floors. Or even if he survived he didn't plan on being a lower level player to be at the mercy of high level players. While coming away from his thoughts he noticed one person sitting alone on a bench. But she didn't look like she was panicking like so many others. Instead she looked calm and reserved so that stuck out to him.

Cyrus ever really had trouble making conversation with others really so it came naturally when he spoke. "You look rather well after receiving that news. A mind not easily shaken is a great quality to have."

  17. Cyrus could only chuckle and just shrug his shoulders. "I suppose I'm just good at stuff like this." Having Kiso around was one of his best decisions in the game so far. And apparently she was thinking the same exact thing. In such a dire situation like this it was better to have at least on person that could really watch your back. Although the circumstances of them coming together were strange and not built on trust. They needed each other right now and it was enough to keep things steady. He was about to take that moment and tease her for it. This was what they did. It was becoming their thing, But before he could get to it the mood change and it made him actually get serious for a moment.

What he wasn't expecting was for her to actually open up. This was the first time she actually spoke her mind like this with some actual attachment behind her words. Cyrus was listening. Like REALLY listening to her words and taking them in. Seeing this situation from her perspective made him think. While he wasn't exactly hard pressed for a quick escape this was probably hell for her. The words fell from his lips with a serious tone. "Thank you for being around too. I'm not sure where I would be right now if I was by myself." They had been together for a while. So it made him wonder if he could even handle the game without her. The feeling that there was something to prove to himself came on strong. If Cyrus would have said it out loud she would try to stop him but it was already made up in his mind.

Listening carefully to what she explained as fun for her. At the moment there probably wasn't much but there had to be a way for his partner to enjoy the small things in this world. She had given enough information to go off of for now. Surely more information would be released over time. But for right now he knew where to start. Even on the first floor there had to be a few places to visit. The question asked was a valid one but it made him smile. "No I don't actually. I hope you won't be snoring in my ear. And you talk a big game but I'm curious to see how well you back it up."  Leaving that subject he went on to ask his question next. "Any pet peeves I should know about?" Dipping another vial into the water he attempted to gather again. And another success.

  18. Apparently she wasn't lucky at all and her frustration almost made him bust out laughing. Of course he wasn't stupid enough to do that just yet. Despite how much progress was made she was still a cold double edged sword right now. Rather than turn her frustration on him a simple nod would have to do. It wasn't that he was scared but avoiding some unnecessary rage. "Hhhhhmmm I'm not sure what it is then." Her words about how he used his logic in life rolled off of him. They it wasn't the best of an argument. She was kind of right. It was very possible that in an attempt to take an opportunity it could back fire on him. However he liked to think he was cautious enough to avoid a situation like that. It was true that she might have an edge on him with her quips and jokes.

"I wouldn't say your personality is all that bad. It's just different. Somebody wouldn't be able to handle you like an average woman. Simply put because you're not the average woman. And an average person can only deal with average people." She was irritated though so he left it at that. The suggestion to try the stream was definitely a good idea. So he followed along which was an interesting change for him. Cyrus had been so used to leading. It was part of his personality. Taking charge of the situation and guiding others to follow him to their goals. So while it was just a simple thing being that they were on Kiso's quest it was different. She had no problem speaking her mind and making her suggestions. Since he was having more luck with finding the materials he went first in attempting to gather up vials of water. Success once again. He was pretty good at this.

When she commented on what she thought his best trait was it made him smile a little. Not a big goofy grin only because he knew she would find some way to make a smart ass comment about it. Instead he just nodded. "Thank you. You're not as bad as you seem. Plus I could see that you were a fighter. I would have missed out on something great if I just ran." They were talking about dreams and that apparently hit something personal. For him it was easy to forget that there were people that lost a lot being trapped in this game. He was just a college student. No real job to speak of. Nobody he really left behind. Just some females that caught his attention and a few friends. The only thing he would miss was his family and his best friends. However due to the nature of them being trapped in this world he figured it was only a matter of time until either someone got them out safely or they cleared the game. But he kept those thoughts to himself. It was a touchy subject. "I have plans to build something of worth in this game if we're going to be trapped here. The particulars are fuzzy but I won't be knocked down by this game. And back home I wanted to own my own business. So I guess it's no surprise that I have the need to build something in this game also."

The next question was fairly interesting. If they weren't partners eh? "I think I would still be grinding out and trying to get this katana skill. I had no plans in being stuck on this floor if you came or not. I think it would have been harder for me though. Essentially this team up has sped up my leveling also. It's also made it easier on my mind. If I was alone maybe it would have worn down my mind being alone for so long eventually. But probably not. Being average would push me to pick things up again."

"If we had the time, what would you do for fun here?"

  19. Cyrus had been a little anxious to get out into the field and start putting down some mobs. After meeting his partner they had been grinding back to back out as of late. Today was the only exception. Truly it was to see if he could handle a fight by himself. Being teamed with Kisodeth was great of course. But what if it came down to having to kill a mob all by himself. Getting comfortable in back up wasn't going to be much help in a situation like that. Of course if he died it would be bad for both of them. For Cyrus it would be the obvious. For his partner however she would be fighting on her own. He liked to think that they were getting used to each other and if he disappeared it would leave a vacuum of space. All of this wasn't for his pride however. It was more a test of his worth. Since coming to SAO he looked down on the other players cowering in the Town. But if he couldn't beat these low level mobs on his own then how was he any better than them?  So this was all to prove a point to himself. Reassurance that he wasn't all talk and that climbing the tower is what he should be doing.

Airi was offering to join him. At first he was going to decline because this was supposed to be his proving day. However upon hearing her level and path his mind was quickly changed. She wouldn't be giving the same level of help as Kiso which meant he would be taking the forefront of the battle. And a healer was a rare path to take. Most of the people in SAO were arrogant hero type choosing DPS and maybe Tank roles. Everyone liked to be the one to deal the last blow. Having a healer around would prove useful to his plans. So if he could prove that they would be useful to each other perhaps he could convince her to ally herself with him. The day was getting quite interesting. "I suppose I wouldn't mind you out there. I'm level four with one rank in curved and just picked up the Katana skill. I'll be sticking to DPS it's where I'm most comfortable." The only thing that stood out was probably his level. Maybe the Katana skill. But DPS was a common role. The young gamer would be watching her reaction to see if he could move forward with his plans.

"If you're still coming along then let's head out." Not even waiting for a reply he started leading the way to the fields. If she was coming she would follow. If she had changed her mind and was leaving then there was no point in continuing their conversation. Of course the tone of his voice was polite but there was no point in having further conversations with someone who couldn't keep up. Cyrus planned on shooting through the beginner floors. Upon reaching the field he looked for some loot on the way to finding their first mob to fight. There wasn't much luck there though. Maybe the mobs would drop something useful.

  20. It was hilarious to watch her methods of searching if it could even be called a search at all. "Perhaps you should try some actual looking and reasoning to narrow down possible places your material could be. Kicking up dirt is probably why you're not getting results." It made him chuckle a little. Essentially they could have just gone with the one material he found and went on with the quest. But if they were already out in the field and already looking for it, it was probably better to gather a lot at once. There was a chance that the rate for finding materials was increased while holding the quest. Just a theory though it could be entirely wrong. "Doors are always open to you. It's up to you to peek into those doors and predict future outcomes and values. And then bust that [censored] wide open."

The question about his reasoning in Kabukicho probably would have been answered regardless of her asking but it worked out for him. It basically gave him a freebie. However he would have never let that be known to Kiso. She would have been a little upset. It was quite true that the area he visited a few times was dangerous but he was able to handle himself fairly well. The answer he received to his question was a little different than he was expecting mostly because the meaning was lost on her. "Well I guess that works. You're eyes are a great feature and hard to miss. However I meant more about the inside. Not to sound soft or anything. But like your personality, your mind, etcetera." If she wanted to just get away with what she said before he really wasn't going to press for more information. His focus was on the sort of sweet laugh she gave. It caught him off guard and it was an interesting sound to hear. Which made him want to hear it again.

"I suppose my best feature would be the way my mind works. Noticing the small things no one else notices. My ambitions to be greater than everyone else. My focus." And now it was time to answer her question. "First I should give some background. I used to live in NYC back in the States. So it taught me a lot about life and how to handle myself. I'm an abroad college student we go looking for trouble and adventures just to have an interesting night. I wasn't necessarily there for the Red-Light district. Or there for myself most of the time. Just for the college memories." There were some details left out just to make things mysterious and interesting. Maybe she would be able to get the rest out of him at another time. "What are is your biggest dream or goal here and in the real world." Another sort of two part question. But this is what would either align themselves further or push them apart. If their goals were vastly different it would be better to end things with these answers.

Cyrus was a little more serious in his search resulting in another success.

  21. Cyrus' red overcoat like outerwear flowed in the wind as the looked around. The over coat was really like two pieces for the back and arms as well as a piece that started above the waist and hung loose all the way down. If it wasn't for the shirt he wore underneath his chest would be exposed bare. And it was very possible to remove the shirt just to get that desired effect. However due to the material of the shirt it was very form fitting but stylish for this type of game while his clearly toned body was still visible underneath. The pants however were slim but not too much. Skinny pants were not his style and he would never be caught dead wearing them. Between the red, black and white matching with his hair he looked fairly capable wearing this equipment. Of course he spent a goof portion of time in character creation making sure he looked good right out of the gate. It was in the plan to keep his armor similar to this type of gear going forward.

The first question had been pretty good indeed noticing that she was stumped for a while, There were more questions like this lined up. There was more to Cyrus than a good smile and his flirting. His mind was a fairly interesting and devious thing. "I think you got the game backwards. We're answering our own questions after getting the answer from the other. So I would answer now." Looking toward Kiso he made sure she got it now before continuing. "My philosophy is to live in the moment and never let an opportunity pass you by. Regret is never something I want to dwell on."

Now that Dethy had messed up their order there was a lot of catching up to do. "Just to get us back on track I'm going to answer and then ask." No pause in his speech. "I live in Shibuya at least while I'm in school so I'm actually not too far from Kabukicho. Been down there a few times. What's your favorite thing about yourself?" This was going to be there most interesting outing yet. Their conversation never distracted him from the search for materials. And he was getting lucky again.

  22. It was finally down to the last material he had to grab and it would finally be time to get out of the damn fields. Gathering materials had to be the most boring part of a RPG. It made it even more boring that he was alone at the moment. Frankly it was for the best at the moment. If his trust had been placed in the wrong person early on it was possible he could be stuck right now. No, he needed to be sure of his choice whenever the time came to trust somebody enough to travel with them. Solitude would drive him crazy though. Besides he had grand plans that needed to be followed down to the very last detail. So of course his choice of who filled these very important roles would have to be very precise. A brief look over the area revealed one more material. This meant his searching part of the quest was now over and he could finally move on.
